I'm sorry, I am soooooo old fashioned in this regard. I just don't feel it's fair for Eragon.

In my opinion it would be far to clichéd for the two of them to get together. I would be disappointed of the books, because it always turns out to be the hero who gets the elven princess. That's not very inventive. <_<

And, even worse, it would remind me so much of Arwen and Aragorn. The hero gets the beautiful elfen princess, although there seem to be insurmountable obstacles. Nothing new...

I am so confused. Why would Paolini give us this insight on how focused, mature, honorable and dedicated is Ayra and have Eragon fall in love with her?

i agree with lady phoenix. 1. arya's is wiser than that. and 2. it would make the story dumb.

I believe that Arya and Eragon are deeply in love, but in all honesty, I don't think that such a relationship would be allowable. Eragon is the last of a very trace group, and Arya is royalty, and elvish royalty, no less. I foresee Arya's death and Eragons eternal darkness. To quote Robert Frost, "Gold can never last."

lol. stop acting so emo. and gold lasts. gold doesn't oxidize.

ok, i can see how people might be disappointed, but i'd only be disappointed if it occured in a totally predictable way. we don't know what genious, unpredictable ways CP can come up w/.

no, not that. i'm saying that he's a literary genious and thusly could make it interesting, the way it happens unexpected and full of twists.
