Yeah, but if you had 2, then it would be easier with both.

cus youd still recive the same amount of energy from the dragon that helps form the gedwey ingnasias so the gedwey ingnasias would not be as powerful

I'MNOTCRAZY, you seem to "not read" the posts in which I have backed up with evidence from the book. You continue to split hairs here. The original topic
question has been answered.

You don't get it. It is EASIER to channel magic through your ignasia'ed hand! And what IF you touched it with both hands simultaneously???

Oh yes, I do get it! This was your original question:

If you touched a dragon hatchling with both hands, would you get 2 gedwey ingnasias????

The answer to that is highly probable to be no. The way I see it after discussing this thoroughly in SF and now here, is that we already KNOW a Rider was able to channel his/her magic through both hands, but it was easier if they used the one with the mark.

"Why does my hand do that? It's like a little lantern."
"No one's sure," Brom admitted. "The Riders always preferred to channel their power through whichever hand bore the gedway ignasia. You can use your other palm, but it isn't easy." Eragon 149

I am reposting the post for your benefit. Your topic question is underlined also for your benefit, so please stop splitting ends here and let's move on.
