It's a bit harder for everyone, some more than others. |

It's possible, but I doubt it has ever happened. If a dragon hatched for me, I would be to suprised to try and touch it at the exact same time. |

I think it is an oval but teh movie screwed it up. I mean it might happen but it might be just a little harder on both hands to channel the magic |

The movie also screwed up Arya's hair, which is supposed to be black. She'd look better with black hair. |

I hate it when movies screw up the storyline, and other details. |

Up to this point we are told that magic can be channeled through both hands, even though it's easier with the one having the Gedway Ignasea or the shinning palm. Nowhere has it even suggested the possibility of having one in each hand. |

Plus, sometimes your gedwey innaesia could alert an enemy to your presence. wouldn't two be twice as bad. |

You don't get it. It is EASIER to channel magic through your ignasia'ed hand! And what IF you touched it with both hands simultaneously??? |

Oh yes, I do get it! This was your original question: If you touched a dragon hatchling with both hands, would you get 2 gedwey ingnasias???? The answer to that is highly probable to be no. The way I see it after discussing this thoroughly in SF and now here, is that we already KNOW a Rider was able to channel his/her magic through both hands, but it was easier if they used the one with the mark. "Why does my hand do that? It's like a little lantern." "No one's sure," Brom admitted. "The Riders always preferred to channel their power through whichever hand bore the gedway ignasia. You can use your other palm, but it isn't easy." Eragon 149 |
