Yes it is a Harry Potter phrase, Dumbledore*sniff* said it. I don't even know anymore; I like Murtagh and my heart goes out for him. If he is to die, which is most likely, I would really like for him to do something outrageous in favor of the Varden so that his memory would not be hated. It would be like getting back at Galbatorix for not allowing him to simply be himself and forcing him to be his puppet.

It just occured to me; when he was ordered by Galbatorix to try and capture Eragon and Saphira and he said"

"I was ordered to try and capture you and Saphira." He paused. "I have tried....Make sure we don't cross paths again. Galbatorix will have me swear additional oaths in the ancient language that will prevent me from showing you such mercy when next we meet ." He lowered his sword. Eldest 651-2

If he was able to find a loophole in this particular situation, maybe he'll find another one the next time they are in battle and does something to help the Varden terminate Galbatorix. That certainly would redeem him.

Hmm..it's possible. I mean Murtagh I think would try and do anything now to redeem himself and whatnot and it would be more logical and make some sense.

but if Galabatrix does make him do more oaths then there is no way he will find THAT BIG of a loophole

Each new oath closes more and more loopholes.

Each new oath closes more and more loopholes.

For the past 45 minutes I've been trying to find a decent online Spanish-English proverb translator, and I have failed dismally. There is a saying back home which would apply so perfectly in this situation; I am in a total state of frustration.
The point of the matter is those who at times try to figure out every possible twist and turn of a particular situation, may sometime miss the most obvious of them all.
I honestly would hope Murtagh can somehow, someway would find a way to get back at
Galbatorix. The thought of his name being cursed and hated (as much as Morazn’s) really saddens me. My brain says he's beyond redemption, my heart says, maybe, just maybe he has a chance, :( :( and I know, the rational part of me knows that Cacroos and I'MNOTCRAZY are so right! :( :( :(

But also Galbatorix will know that he found that loop hole and will check over and over again making absolutlly sure that their are no loop holes even the smallest ones. He will make sure that Murtaugh cant disobey him again.

I don't want Murtagh to die!!! :( :( If he must, I would love for him to kill Galbatorix or give Eragon a heping hand to do so. After all, they're half-brothers! :D

Yeah I know...Murtagh can;t die... :( :( :( :(

Plus people are even saying that Eragon might kill him or never forgive him and for me I think Eragon is quite the type of person to forgive another person, especially Murtagh if he comes back to the good side.

Y CAN'T he die??? I don't want him to die, but there is always the possibility. And it's not exactly a small one either...

Deep down inside, I feel the possibility of Mutagh surviving the series are minimum. I just wish it would be an honorable death. :( :(

Galabatrix could easily die, and Murtagh will somehow make it happen, and the spell will be broken and next thing you know. He will be alive and well
