no. because Arya was the only elf he had ever met, so she was his only impression of them. from her he construed that all elves were detached, which is not true.

but cold.... she's not cold.

Oromis, on the other hand, is very compassionate towards Eragon, almost like a father to him.

And remember how emotional Islanzadi got when Arya came back! if you call that detached, ur CRAZY!!!

I am really hoping for your own good you were not directing this derrogative adjective towards me. AND it seems the only person who has used the word "detached" was me, I am taking it personally.
