Remember when in Eldest Jeod was talking to Helen about leaving with the villagers of Carvahall in teirm and Jeod said something along the lines of:"You loved me so much when we first got married" then Helen Said "Well, that was when u had ur sword and the scar on your hand"

This scar could have been the gedwey ignasia...

Thoughts???

It would be shiney if it were the gedwey ingnasia, and he worked for the varden so it is probably like a battle scar, unless his wife is arrogant and mistook it for a scar

"Well, that was when u had ur sword and the scar on your hand"

That means that he lost his sword.

I do not think this is possible! The book says: "The door suddenly flew open, and a tall man burst out of the house. His expensive clothes were rumpled, his gray hair wispy, and he had a mournfulface with short eyebrows. A long sacar stretched across his scalp to his temple." Eragon 181
Through the storyline, we learn that Riders had the Gedway Ignasia on their hand, not on their "forehead". Only Elva had a "star" on her forehead from Saphira's touch.

Gertrude first mistook Eragon's gedway ignesia as a scar. I don't know what page, but from what I heared, I'd think that Jeod was a rider!

He could be a Rider ya never know. I don't think so though, I think Brom was the Rider and Jeod followed him like Brom did with Eragon.
