I'd have to agree with Lady Pheonix on this one.

Still, his role could change.

Yeah, he could be left out of the picure entirely! Once Arya gets her dragon, she can spar with Eragon!!! THAT WOULD BE SOOOO COOL!!!

Oh now this would be entertaining to see. Arya and Eragon sparring? COOL!!

The first time they sparred, Eragon gave her a run for her money. It would be something to see! Now Eragon can meet Ayra as an equal. ;) ;)

Hmm...but it makes you wonder who would win out of the two? Even if they are equally matched and all.

It may be niether, like what happened with Murtagh when they use to spar.

I agree on this one with you. As the next Rider they would be able to spar and practice at the same time as Ayra trains in other areas, while they're in Ellesmera.

Sparring with Arya? Eraogn might win. If not him, I don't think either would. He has much more time with a dragon, but she is very skilled.

LOL! If we have read Ayra's personality correctly I don't think she will let Eragon win just for his ego's sake, then now that Eragon has gain all the elven qualities with the "gift of the dragons", I don't think he would give in for Ayra's sake. After all, he has sparred before with her and he KNOWS she's GOOD! So I guess it would be like I'MNOTCRAZY mentioned on his post; neither would give in just like when Eragon and Muratgh sparred. They'll have to call it an "even."

Yeah and seeing them spar is awesome! Plus Arya is good because she's an elf, skilled, trained, and has fought in battles before. She's more experienced than eragon is but I think now after all that has happened and eragon is trained and all that...they would be a great match!

Nah, she is good, even by elves' standards. They are more or less even.
