General Johnston is ordered to check any possible Federal attacks into central Confederacy. Similar in theory with the defense in the East, all attempts will be made to quickly counter a yankee invasion and to, if the enemy proves overwhelming, fight a delaying campaign until suitable local reinforcements can be arranged. |
