The Confederate Army of the Potomac, as well as the Army of Shenandoah, are stationed within reasonable range of the Union-Confederate border in northern Virginia. General Beuragard and Johnston, each commanders of those two armies, are ordered to carefully counter any attempted yankee invasion - if possible with the two armies acting to compliment one another - with a firm defense followed by a counter attack. Should the Federal attacking army prove far too large to counter immediately, a careful operation of skirmishes and delaying tactics are to be employed until such a time where suitable reinforces from nearby state armies can be acquired. |
