Under provisions guranteed to the War Department by Act of the Confederate Congress, the Confederacy has put out a call to raise an army of 100,000 regulars for defense of Confederate Soil from anticipated Union aggression. The Confederacy has accordingly mobilized its resources to the tune of 2,800,000 Pounds and 20 IPPs. The regulars are to form the backdones of the Confederate Army of the Potomac, Army of Shenandoah, and Army of Tennessee.

The Confederate Congress has issued a second call for men in 1862, placing a recruiting goal of 150,000 men and extending the military service age by a few years. Cost is locked in at 4,200,000 Pounds and 30 IPPs.
