![]() "Study them, Adam" he said, "and realize their stupidity and ignorance. They have a great contempt for us, and they call us peasants and louts, but not one in ten of them can read or write his letters. A good half of them are convicts, cutthroats and footpads, serving out their time in His Majesty's colors instead of in jail. The rest of them are poor, ignorant devils, with a religion as cloudy and superstitious as their minds. They are a poor substitute for machines." - Soloman Chandler, "Morning April" prior to the Battle of Lexington | |

Well, hmm, theres a lot here. I started in the group with 17th Century, I was Hannover and then Saxony when it remade (but flopped). Uh, I was Austria in the colonization one.... And I remember being more then that. Oh, I think I was Wuttemburg in a Napoleonic one. But I lost you guys after the last RP, so Im glad to be back. Dont feel bad, I dont remember you either Rob, unless you were Denmark once, I think I recall that. I think a few people here are willing to vouche for me if you dont think Im up for it. EDIT: Ahh yes, and there was a Crusader One... I joined near the end, but I joined as Edessa. I think I may have been the second player to be it. |

Lol. I didn't actually take part in the 17th century game you mention, but i've been told about it. I seem to recall that the Austrian player attempted to colonise Alaska. Are you guilty of this heinous crime? |

Haha, no.
But I did hire Dutchmen to travel arround the top of Norway (a failed project at the get go, added for realism) and the round the Cape just for fun. It rose a lot of controversy because everyone thought that I would be able to colonize just as fast as Portugul and Spain, and I basically told them thats bullshit, because Austria of course would recieve a huge penalty.I just couldnt resist the idea little Ductch pre-colony, like a city, no matter how expensive that is. But dear God nothing more.
