Minister (Super Mod)
February, 1853

While fighting continues in Poland, the Russian population has been confronted with another threat lurking at home. Cholera, a disease which has resulted in the deaths of hundreds of thousands of people throughout Europe, North America and Asia, has begun to strike again in Russia, with reports in Saint-Petersburg, Moscow and Kiev all of which indicate sickness and death in all of the cities. The places hit the hardest are the Military cities, such as the capital Saint-Petersburg and in Sevastopol, where the high concentration of people there have led to the disease being spread relatively quickly through the population.

Death Tolls aren't taken in Russia, however some estimates put the toll at about 2,000 overall by February of 1853.
