Forgotten: No one can escape. A great flash emerged above all of Aronia leaving each with short term memory loss. Years lost to the fog of amnesia. Can no one recall? That appears to be the case. Whom or what is responsible? Panic has stricken the globe. Will civilization collapse? What will emerge from the reset? Only time will tell. To each citizen of Aronia from the Global Gazette, we wish all luck.
Welcome to Aronia. We hope you enjoy your visit.

Ket had been watching the old homeless man from the shadows for some time now. Ket's stomach growled and he placed one thin, grey hand over it in an effort to silence it. The old man seemed oblivious to his surroundings as he searched the refuse nearby for something edible. Ket knew it was useless, he had already searched everything nearby.

The old man's back was facing him, it was now or never. Sprinting from the shadows, Ket buried the long, black, claw-like nails of his right hand into the old man's back and the ones on his left into the side of his neck. The aged vagrant fought instinctively, but Ket sunk his teeth into the man's neck and the old man shuddered and lay still. Ket withdrew his embrace and let the body fall before beginning his meal.

Ket stood in a field, surrounded by bodies and drenched in blood. He had no idea how he had gotten there, or who he was. Had he killed all these people and if so why? A malicious, maniacal laugh filled his ears and he realized that it was coming from his own throat.

Ket awoke with a start, instictively lashing out at the air. It had been some time since he had last had that vision. It was the earliest memory he had and he still had no idea what it meant. Perturbed, Ket grabbed a rat that had wandered to close and bit off its head before snacking on the rest.
