Forgotten: No one can escape. A great flash emerged above all of Aronia leaving each with short term memory loss. Years lost to the fog of amnesia. Can no one recall? That appears to be the case. Whom or what is responsible? Panic has stricken the globe. Will civilization collapse? What will emerge from the reset? Only time will tell. To each citizen of Aronia from the Global Gazette, we wish all luck.
Welcome to Aronia. We hope you enjoy your visit.

The creature was moving through the crowd like a bull elephant through shrubbery. The people that bumped into it might well have been bumping against a moving wall. The creature didnt budge when other bumped into it but they were shoved aside easly.

The mention of something to put their current possesions in made it slow its walk and begin to search for something large enough. The creature came to a hault just as quickly once Victoria latched onto its arms. Its attention immedialty on her, its other arm moving to hold her up.

"Are you.." the question trailed off. It was senseless to ask when it was obvious she was. The reason to ask a question to which it already knew the answer was illogical and caused the creature to ponder a moment as to why it had even started to ask. "What can I do?" that was a more appropriate question. Even as Victoria regained her footing the creature kept one hand on her waist incase she began to fall again. Its aim to steady her, the other hand holding her arm gently.

Victoria was glad the creature had such reactions to her status even though it was partially her own fault. If she were to simply walk down an alley and take a being's life for her hunger the situation would be much less complicated. However, Victoria could not take such actions. That would leave a trail of her travel. They must be as discreet as possible...if she hadn't ruined that already. Hopefully the being did not know what she had.

"We can only hurry." Victoria didn't know what else to say. Between the pain and the attraction to murder, she could think of little. Victoria would not have made it this far without the creature's help. She had to repay him somehow. There was only one way she could think of to reimburse him and that made her nervous. Thousands of years of solitude never made anybody very hospitable. Victoria wouldn't even know where to begin to explain herself to him.

Looking around the dock herself, Victoria saw not only a few empty crates but an old man ready to embark somewhere. Surely they could make an extra stop. His age and decrepit state made him the perfect candidate for them.

"There," Victoria raised her hand an pointed to the old man and his ship, "He has storage space as well."

The creature watched Victoria carefully. Something was wrong, it was easy to tell. The only trouble was figuring out what it was. She seemed so caught up in the task at hand that her own troubles seemed to matter little. The thought that her rush on this task may be to hide something else from it. Still while it watched over her it cast threatening stares at anybody who stepped too close to Victoria for it's liking. Those aqua-marine eyes seeming colder than ice at those moments.

Then its attention shot to the old man she had pointed to. It was clear that the man was about to embark on voyage but the creature did not know how it recognized the signs. Shaking its head momentarily to get rid of the thought it gently began to walk Victoria towards the old man. Though perhaps at this moment the creature looked more menacing than wanting to offer business.

As they approached the elderly man, it was in their good fortune that he had his back to them. Between her gimping status and the creature's gaze surely he would have suffered from some sort of seizure. His health did not appear to be very promising. This was not a concern at the moment. Reaching the man, Victoria took a deep breath before addressing him.

"Sir," The bent over man startled, jumped and dropped the net he had been packing. Turning quickly, he stumbled over his feet.

"Ooohoohoo!" The senior steadied himself by reaching for a fallen cane, if it could be called that. In actuality it resembled a crooked tree branch that had its bark poorly removed. Steadying himself, the old man coughed harshly and it shook his entire being.

"An' who ye be miss?" His shaking eyes glanced up to the creature briefly with quick raised eyebrows and sight assumed to be on Victoria. She could not help but notice the gleam off of the bald top of his head and the straggled pony tail pulled back. Victoria quickly contemplated lying but something inside her insisted on telling the truth and stood a little straighter.

"I am high priestess Victoria of Ombra Di Notta," Victoria bowed her head slightly.

"Ooohoohoo!" The man clapped his knee, his balance wavering, "They be sayin' Ombra Di Notta is fallin' miss Victoria." Victoria frowned and nodded slightly.

"That is why we must ask for your help crossing the ocean. We must travel with haste and in disguise. Terrible calamity will befall all of Endymion and possibly Aronia if we do not seek aid." The old man nodded and tapped his stick on the dock. Looking to the creature the elder man rattled off again.

"Aye, you can 'ear it on th' winds," The old man squinted and broke wind, "Pardon me, miss Victoria." The old man hobbled towards the plank that led to his ship.

"I'll be takin' ye all to yer destination. Juss one condition," The senior looked over his shoulder to the creature, "If ye be kind enough to carry an ol' man's cargo aboard." He pointed his cane to the crates and almost fell. Victoria smiled and looked up to the creature briefly.

"I thank ye lad. Bess be leavin' 'fore the rain comes in." The old man boarded the ship and Victoria sighed with relief. She thanked the energy for their good fortune and stepped towards the crates to help the creature.

"That was much easier than I had anticipated," Victoria spoke to the creature and herself.

The creature paid little mind to the old man as he and victoria spoke. Its attention was traveling over the mulling crowd of people. There was a lot of activity. That seemed odd, then again the only thing the creature had to compare to was the rest of the city. The mention of a storm took the creatures attention from the crowd to the skies.

It did not seem likely that any storm was forming. Infact the creature was a bit curious as to how the old man could tell but little time was left for questions. Its attention finally dropping to the old man and then to the crates the creature was suggested to carry. An easy enough task.

The problem came when Victoria moved to aid the creature. It stopped and looked to her curiously. "I am sorry, i cannot allow you to assist." why had an apology accompanied it instead of a demand?, "You are in no condition to give aid, it would be better if you followed the old man." not words it would normally have chosen. The confusion was clear on its face though one may mistake it as caused by something else. It then turned and began the task it had been given.

Victoria was mid stride when the creature spoke. She noticed the expression on his face as it was hard not to. Smiling she stepped aside and towards the ship. There was so much the creature needed to know that she wished she had the answers for but could only think of one who would have them. Given the recent events it was hard to trust the source if they could have ever trusted him to begin with. Victoria was a little bit nervous as she approached the plank. She couldn't remember the last time she had been on one, if ever. Glancing in the direction of the her city, Victoria sighed. There was something terribly wrong. It wasn't just Ombra Di Notta, it was the whole of Aronia. She could only just feel the energy of her temple and once they set sail it would be no more. However, Victoria knew no matter what happened that the world would survive. Life always found a way to continue on. It would adapts and change as was the way of nature.

Turning to watch the creature briefly, she sighed and held her abdomen again. Time was running out. They both needed answers, quickly. Continuing onto the ship, Victoria kept distance for the creature to put the crates somewhere but she still kept him in her sight for some reason she didn't think of. She could hear the old man bumping around somewhere out of sight. The trip would be interesting if anything.

The creature continued to load the crates. Carrying the last one onto the ship it faulted for a second and gave a brief shake of its head. The aquamarine glow leaving the eyes on its armor. As it carried the last crate to its place it looked to Victoria with brown eyes.

There she was, a smile spread across his lips. Though she did appear a bit nervous. His smile broadened a bit, "Whats the matter, Licia? You act as if you have never been on a boat before. He turned away long enough to set the last of the crates down with a grunt

The brown slowly faded from the creatures eyes as it looked back to Victoria. The aqua-marine color filling the orbs in the armor slowly. The smile faded and the creature looked lost. Glancing back to where it had just been crossing, "how...."

Victoria definitely was taken off guard as the creature finished and looked at her. It scared her. More accurately it was her lack of understanding that scared her. Gripping the clothing and holding it tight against her, Victoria had a puzzled look on her face and shook her head slightly. The change of color corresponded with the sudden expression, that was obvious. If only she knew why. Then again that was why they were leaving the continent in such a hurry.

"Are you all right?" Victoria did not know what else to say. She took a step towards him but stopped and heard the hard landing of a falling object.

"Son of a..." the old man stumbled out onto the deck, shutting the door behind him and looking to the two of them.

"ooohooohooo! That be fast lad! Thank ye," he straightened out his ragged shirt and walked down the plank to remove the rope from the dock. Victoria had watched the old man's hobble.

"Is there a place for us to change our clothing and store them?" Victoria called down to the elderly man. He struggled with the rope and finally freed it.

"Aye, down below. Watch fer the steps. The sec'nds about done fer." Victoria nodded, mostly to herself and looked to the creature and shrugged.

"At least we have passage?" She did not want to discuss anything in front of the old man. The less he knew the better. He knew too much as it was.

The creature was rather confused. Staring blankly at Victoria even when the old man came back topdeck and paid his compliment for the speedy work. The creature failed to blinked until it realised Victoria was about ready to head below deck.

"This could be a major inconvenience." The creature muttered to itself though loud enough for the other two to hear. Without further conversation the creature moved to gather their things and walked to Victoria's side to assist her down the stairs. Despite its own state of confusion it still knew something was wrong with Victoria even if it couldn't figure out what the problem exactly was.

The creature gently took Victoria's arm and began to lead ehr below deck. The creature looked to Victoria and a re-assuring smile crossed its lips though from it such an action could closely resemble to baring fangs, not so different from Victoria's though the pointed teeth were more numerous in its mouth. The creature didnt really realise what it was doing, the notion that its action should resemble was lost on it.

Victoria was thrown for a moment when the creature spoke, but his aid to their decent forced her to pay attention to their path considering they were warned of a loosened step by the old man. Even the creature's awkward smile catching her attention. She didn't remember if he had ever done that before and at such an odd time.

Descending the stair, Victoria avoided the second step and glanced around the cluttered environment. Hearing the old man above, Victoria was assured they would have adequate time to dress and found a place to sit and begin to undress. Her strength was again not to her benefit. With her dress half removed, she kept her eyes off of the creature's as she waited for him to hand her the purchased clothing.

OOC: sorry I just haven't been writing much lately.
