Forgotten: No one can escape. A great flash emerged above all of Aronia leaving each with short term memory loss. Years lost to the fog of amnesia. Can no one recall? That appears to be the case. Whom or what is responsible? Panic has stricken the globe. Will civilization collapse? What will emerge from the reset? Only time will tell. To each citizen of Aronia from the Global Gazette, we wish all luck.
Welcome to Aronia. We hope you enjoy your visit.

Victoria could hear the commotion of the port as they approached. The seagulls claimed their place in society with their noise. With a sigh of relief, Victoria smiled. Soon they would be on the water. Once there she would have to face her options. However, she still did not know which she would choose. Pushing the thoughts from her mind, Victoria glanced to the creature again, her hand lightly gripping her stomach. If he would even understand the gravity of the situation should she tell him was unknown. Victoria assumed he would more so should the armor be removed. It seemed only to hinder his progress.

"We must find other clothing for the time being," Victoria paused as she looked around the crowd of people, "For disguise. No one but the captain of which ever vessel we find needs to know who we are." Victoria had her own stash of leaves hidden in her clothing. She never left without money not that she would need it. The crest would prove who she was if necessary. Victoria was still female after all. Leaving the side of the creature, she took a few steps forward and stood on her toes for height. A few beings caught her eyes and for the time being did not recognize her or approach them. For how long it would remain that way was unknown but Victoria predicted it to not last long.

OOC: so I'm listening to beauty and the beast songs. I love disney. I makes me happy. Gives me back hope for life not sucking so much. "She glanced this way, I thought I saw and when we touched she didn't shudder at my paw" bestiality in disney.

The creature watched Victoria closely as she stepped away from it. The suggesting of finding other clothing made little sense to it. Though it could feel the armor's distaste for the suggestion. A sense of need washed over the creature, the armor seemed to almost give off a metallic whine as the creature moved up behind Victoria.

"I do not understand. Why is hiding who we are necessary?" the confused look left its face as its eyes washed over with that soft brown and sudden shock showed. A wash of memories flooded its thoughts, times when he had traveled as someone else for there were those who knew of him and would harm him for who he was. The aquamarine colour swirled back to existence, erasing the soft brown that had just taken over. A gasp leaving the creature as it stumbled a step and hunched forward. It could feel the armor supressing the visions, the pain it caused made the color drain from the creatures face but no noise left it now.

"The...disguises...enemies would harm you...perhaps spies... yes. I see." the words were a bit scattered as the creature slowly regained its composure, the pain leaving it for now. "How do we attain the clothing needed?"

OOC:Sorry, I hope its not as scattered as my brain is currently. If it is, I guess I'll have to rewrite it :D

Distracted from the crowd, Victoria looked behind her to the creature as a strange noise caught her attention. The look on the creature's face and the color of his eyes took her off guard. She was quite as startled as he was at that moment. Watching the creature's every move, Victoria did not respond to the first question. His actions even more so confirming the need to separate him from the armor. She moved quickly in reaction to his misstep but did not touch him as he regained his footing. The color leaving the creature's skin caused Victoria to again wonder what actually ran through his veins. Then the way the creature spoke. He was obviously not comfortable and Victoria wished she could do something about that. However presently she knew not what to do.

"We can buy the clothes from someone. It's only a matter of finding them," Victoria paused and worried for the creature for a moment, "No one can know where we are going or they may try to stop us. I hope you do not mind keeping your armor stored during our journey. Once we are on the ship we should be safe, but such bulk would be noticeable and draw questions," At least she was outright and honest about that subject. Victoria took the creature's hand in hers, she could not ignore his condition even though it had subsided.

"Are you all right? Is there anything I can do?" If she could help him before embarking, it would be much more convenient. Especially considering their resources would be limited on a ship.

OOC: I liked it, so don't worry scatter brain ;)

The creature looked down at their hands and was quiet for a brief moment. A light squeeze was given, "Nothing for now, let us find these disguises." It was sure the armor would not like it yet at the same time if they could not defend Victoria then the armor would no longer have reason to be and its rapid decay would begin again.

"Do you know where to attain such disguises or must we take it?" the question was not leaning towards violence, nor simply finding the clothing needed. Rather indifferent if either must be done. Its attention though was still on their hands and it had yet to release the small amount of pressure it had applied, not enough to cause any harm but enoughto be noticable.

Victoria's eyes searched the creature's face as he took a moment to respond. The reciprocated clasp of her hand was surprising but she did not make a spectacle of it. The fact that the creature did not reject the idea of removal of his armor was a great step. For Victoria, she felt wrong but it was more of an experiment. Had she told the creature that he could easily hide the armor beneath his clothes, she would not find out what happened when he was without it. The event would weigh in on her decision for their travels. She had two options at the moment, neither of which she desired to chose.

Victoria did not want to dismiss the creature's disposition only moments before but at least he said, 'for now.' This offered room for further discussion upon the ship which Victoria would take full advantage of. Smiling, closing her eyes briefly and nodding slightly Victoria let it go. The prolonged embrace on her hands distracted her slightly for a moment after the creature asked how to acquire the garments. She found her gaze upon his lips yet again. Shaking her head only slightly, she looked around the crowd.

"There should be a vendor somewhere. A tailor. We can purchase the clothing there along with a trunk. It is only a matter of finding the shop." At that time Victoria cursed the state of affairs within the city and the whole of Aronia. If only she could just exist without such responsibility for the kingdom. Just live her life as she pleased without worry of her actions. Freedom. Victoria wished for freedom and peace in her life and in the creature's. Secretly she desired him within that dream world of liberty and free will. He needed to be there with his...Victoria avoided a specific word in her thoughts. To even think of it was frightening. Tears threatened to well in her eyes as she forced the prospect from her mind. Victoria did not live in that world and she would not. Her life was not hers.

The creature watched her carefully, something about her body language had made it seem like she was happy and yet at the same time some form of saddness was there. It would not pretend to understand, emotions were still foreign to it but it did seem as if Victoria was attempting to hide whatever it was. Perhaps it would be best to continue on as if it had not suspected anything, it thought and so it acted.

It turned its attention to the surrounding areas looking for a market of some sort, either a street vendor or perhaps a store of some sort. Soon enough it did spot clothing on a rack outfront of a building. Someone talking to those passing by. Gently it began to lead the way towards the building, "I believe there is something this way." it said only after taking the first step.

OOC: Just to warn you, this is gonna suck compared to the original one I typed up...

IC: Victoria let her eyes stay on the creature briefly as he looked around. She found herself smiling. Following his suit, Victoria looked around as well. When the creature found a vendor, she happily let him lead her by the hand. Glancing ahead, she noticed none of the clothing were very well made. It was exactly what they needed however it still saddened her to see that outside the city things were less of quality. Ombra Di Notta was a wealthy city and it seemed that even the poorest citizen dressed in more than rags unless they so choose. Victoria brought her hand to her abdomen again. She would need larger clothes than what she wore to hide her growth. Victoria's eyes falling to the creature's hand clasped around hers brought a sigh to her lips, her hand increasing pressure upon the creature's without realizing it. He was so protective of her and agreeable. Would he be more so if he knew? Or would he even understand? Then again, if Victoria chose to go to Vorhen for help...Vorhen would want the creature no where near. It would be bad public relations. A bad image to have another man around. Espeically not elven and the one who...Victoria breathed deeply again. She still had time.

"Choose whatever you desire," Victoria spoke as they reached the vendor. The clothing surely wouldn't be so expensive either. Not for such poor skill. Whoever the tailor was, was obviously not one to put a little extra effort. At least they could hide among the masses. Victoria peered around for a trunk too.

The creature noted the increased pressure upon its hand. Though curious as to the reason it was distracting itself with the current events. Though still a momentary squeeze was given. It didn't really wait for people to move. A forceful hand pushing people aside. Apparently common curtesy was not a concept it knew, or it atleast failed to stretch its show of it to anyone aside from Victoria herself.

Upon reaching the store the creature glanced at its wares. "You should decide first, then I can pick something to match.... easier to form....lies if our garbs resemble each other." the words were forced as its eyes squinted in strain as it pulled at something. A recollection of something, the light metallic whine sounded out again as it looked back towards her, "Take your time." the words were sincere and lacked their normal hollowness.

He wasn't a very fast swimmer, Ren. But he didn't drown. He swam toward the big port with all the people on it. He was excited, because he knew that out of the bunch of dot sized people-dots, he'd have to have a few prospective customers. For very long he's had to raise his rates just to keep himself alive, let alone the idea of a school.

This water was freezing. He dog-paddled his way to port pier as quick as possible. He grabbed one of the pier's planks and lifted himself up on the woody ground. As he stood there, looking for an empty spot to advertise his goods to the masses, the excess water flowed dropped through his clothing, splashing the floor below him. And just then, he spotted a table, full of fabric, in patterns that closely resembled clothing. He remembered that he still had some money, so he lurched over and browsed the table for a long, warm coat.

The creature's brief tightened embrace made Victoria realize that she had caused such a reaction. Letting the pressure up slightly, she still held fast. Watching him force his way through the crowd brought a smile to her face and she shook her head slightly. He was so unrefined. Still, it suited him and it only had her appreciate the times when he was not so. The creature's suggestion to pick out clothing first was not a problem and was logical. His mentioning lies tugged at her heart again. Guilt would not let her be.

"All right," Victoria noticed the queer expression on his face and that noise was back. She looked around them to see what on Aronia could make such a sound but found nothing. Victoria was stumped.

"Odd..."She muttered as she turned to the tables to find an outfit. Browsing for a bit, Victoria managed to find a drab, few sizes too large peasant dress. The earthy brown would not compliment her in any way, but that was not the issue. Picking up the cloth, Victoria draped it over her arm. The material was rough and itchy and she knew it would not be comfortable to wear. Victoria was spoiled. She turned to speak to the creature but her side vision caught a pitiful looking man. It had been ages since Victoria had seen such a sight. Looking up to the creature, Victoria had to let him know of her actions in case the man turned out to be violent.

"That wretched man needs clothes as well, so I am going to buy them for him. It is my duty," Victoria could not leave her temperance behind completely. Even though the look of the man brought on a shudder. His ear... Still, the drenched being needed help. Surely he had nothing, otherwise he would not be soaking wet. Approaching with caution, Victoria kept a few paces away.

"Sir, I am Vi...Violet," She could not tell him her real name just in case he was there with ill intent, "May I offer you fresh clothing on my account? Surely you are chilled to the bone with damp. I know not why you are in such fashion but I only want to help," Victoria hoped she did not come off as snobbish. Truly, she only wished to aid him.
