Forgotten: No one can escape. A great flash emerged above all of Aronia leaving each with short term memory loss. Years lost to the fog of amnesia. Can no one recall? That appears to be the case. Whom or what is responsible? Panic has stricken the globe. Will civilization collapse? What will emerge from the reset? Only time will tell. To each citizen of Aronia from the Global Gazette, we wish all luck.
Welcome to Aronia. We hope you enjoy your visit.

Not too long after Alain had walked back out of the place, obviously more than a little irritated, a ruby-scaled head poked through the crack in the door, and the little dragon that had been perched on his shoulder most of the day slipped through and climbed up a flower pot, looking around a little bit before it climbed higher, jumped, and glided over towards the group, flapping a bit but not gaining much height - she was barely a day old after all. She landed on Gwen's shoulder and held gently, trying not to claw her any, and licking her cheek once to apologize in case she startled her any - she hadnt meant to, but she couldn't talk anymore, so...

Her soft blue-green eyes looked over each of the people there, and finally rested on the Priestess. She cocked her head slightly at the woman, as though wondering what was wrong with her.

((Short post for the baby dragon, just got tired of not seeing this thread updated *wink*))

Sabre eyed the creature. It spoke. Fluently. One eyebrow cocked up at this, and a smirk soon filled her face at the word 'We'. Who was we? Her eyes flashed dangerously. She would find out sooner or later. For now, however, there were more important things at hand. The creature seemed docile enough, and Gwen was being rather trustworthy towards it, especially by letting it handle Victoria.

She pondered over the creature's thought process, nodding ever so slightly in agreement with his question. He was on the right track, but unfortunately it was never quite so simple killing a wizard, especially when they were one of the most powerful ones in the, well, world.

Sabre's eyes found the form of Gwenefiere just in time to see her drop a pricked finger from her mouth. She shook her head slightly, but paid attention to what the Queen said nonetheless. No offensive attack. Okay, that made sense. Armor the guards. Yes, that made even more sense. Good. Despite her long hiatus, the Queen hadn't lost her sense of good judgement. She nodded once again, and allowed a small grin to form on her lips as well at the Queen's comment about the commoners' allegiance to the City. "Aye... Well, majesty, if it pleases you, I'll excuse myself. I've left Alain and Nicholette alone for some time now and I'm almost afraid to find them and see what kinds of trouble they've caused thus far."

Grinning slightly, she bowed her head to Gwen. She then moved to Victoria and leaned down, kissing the Priestess on the cheek. "Be well, dear," she said, patting the woman gently on the shoulder. Sabre stared at the creature with dark, accusing eyes for a few moments. At last, she nodded ever so slightly, a light entering her violet orbs for a brief second before she turned back to Gwenefiere.

There was now a small dragon perched on the queen's shoulder. How had she not noticed it's presence before? Her white brows furrowed, but she shrugged it off, as the Queen didn't seem to mind and in fact, seemed to welcome the small creature's companionship. With a slight shrug, she turned and headed out of the temple, Norban at her heels.

OOC: Continued in "Take One Down..." :D
Wash: I think they really captured his essence.
Kaylee: He looks kinda mean.
Wash: That's sorta what I meant.
Simon: This must be what going mad feels like.
Kaylee: Everywhere I go, his eyes keep followin' me...

The creature let Victoria link her arm with its. Though it had an odd feeling with the way the two had been looking at it. It felt as if they did not quite believe it, or were perhaps sceptical of something it had said. Maybe the situation. It analyzed the possibilities of what such unsaid, and subtle, reactions could mean but found the thought trivial as it was lead by Victoria towards the doors.

It was obvious he didn't know something about about this Mayce or what his death may cause or the current situation at all. It had been rather pre-occupied and the happenings in this castle outside of its own experience seemed rather trivial to it. Perhaps it was time to pay closer attention if these situations invovled Victoria somehow, "Where shall we start with our studies?" it asked passively as they walked. Apparently all behind it was no longer important, it hadn't even bothered to glance back at Gwenefiere.

"Old friend..." the creature repeated the words. Though no particular reason as to why but an old friend was a broad reference. That meant it was someone Victoria knew that it did not. Its attention wandered over their surroundings for a bit as they walked. Much of the city it had not seen. Even when it was first brought in from the farming district it had not paid any attention to its surroundings. At that time details were of no importance to it and the armor. Now that the link was damaged the creature was free to let its curiosity show. Though the blank expression it carried betrayed any interest it may have in their surroundings.

Only a nod was given as any recognition that Victoria had spoken as they neared the gates. Its attention returning to her finally. It stared for a moment as they walked before dragging its gaze up to the gates they approached. When they came to a stop and she spoke its attention snapped back to her, the normally dull look in its eyes betrayed by an almost attentive gaze before it looked to the gates once more, "I will protect you." it nodded as if that was what her statement had implied.

"Before we depart." the words were uncommonly smooth for its speaking habits if just for that moment, "The...vissions... I have organized the correct pattern for them." it took a deep breathe as it gathered its thoughts, ""I....war...there was some war over the death of some royalty long ago. His beloved poisoned by a.... a man of cloth. Betrayed, he raised his people against them.... He fought like a man possessed." stopping as it realised that it still did not have the whole of whatever it had been seeing, "We....I believe there is more." a dull feeling at the back of its head, the source too familiar but the feeling being forced was something it was none too familiar with, "We fear more visions, they will interfere."
