The creature was prepared for her fall. The moment she spoke, the tone of her voice letting it know she was incapable of continuing, it braced himself on the next step down. Instead of letting her fall its grasp on her brought her slowly to rest back against it. Its hands moving from her waist to let its arms wrap around her midsection to better stable her against it so she would not slump forward. It felt something twinge in its head. An odd sensation for Victoria, though worry was not something it had grown to know either, it was still there. It stood completely still and waited for some sign from her, either a word, or perhaps nothing if she had indeed fallen unconcious. Then it would carry her to the fountain. Yet it had to ask, "Are you okay?" the words seemed customary from what it observed in the marketplace if a person was not operating correctly. |

Victoria felt the creature's reaction as she lost her footing. A wave of relief swept over her and one less worry weighed on her. The amount of strength it took to keep herself just beyond the void of unconciouness was not shown in her breathing but the flexibility in her body. At least she was held upright. She turned her head a bit so her cheek was against the creature and closed her eyes. "Maybe," The exasperated word the best possible answer. Victoria tried with all of her might to bring her arm to her waist but all she could muster was a few movements of her fingers. Bringing herself to rest again, Victoria kept the bit of conciousness that threatened to leave her in solitude. |

It was apparent that she would have to be carried. In her current condition there was no other option. Carefully it scooped her into its arms. Which was more difficult because of the restricted room but it managed to do so without causing her any harm. "I will carry you." it said and then brought her close to it, letting her head rest against its shoulder. It then began the slow climb, "Just rest, we will be there soon." the words didn't make any sense to state in it's mind. It knew that they would be there now in a couple of minutes and it was rather positive she knew the same. It looked straight ahead, keeping a steady, almost rythmatic pace up the steps so it was more fluid than the average bouncy steps of other creatures. OOC:eh..I got to get out of this habit of making short posts. |

As the creature held her, Victoria nuzzled her face into its shoulder. Keeping her eyes closed, the deep void teased her with it's endless fathoms. The words spoken by the creature kept her from sinking. She did know that they would reach the fountain soon, but the journey seemed to take hours. She tried to focus on a thought, something to keep her awake but each seemed to slip away. The steady steps of the creature almost lulled her to sleep. Then a thought crossed her mind. The door. Had the queen shut it behind her? If so, then Victoria would have to open it herself. The energy that would require....Victoria's eyes threatened to fill but she fought the tears back. Why didn't she think of a safe guard? In all of the years she had no use for one and the queen was usually right beside her. Where was the queen as well? Didn't she want to be there when she woke? Victoria's fingers grazed the creature lightly as she thought, the motion calming herself. The solidity helping her remain mentally with him. Once he reached the doorway she would know if it was open or not. He would stop. OOC: yeah, I promised they would get longer and they are....slowly and by a couple sentences here and there....lol |

The stairs were ascended easily enough. Soon it was walking swiftly towards the door. Now its steps were still fluid in motion, flat terrain was easier to move on than steps. It still held her against it even as he neared the door. Once there he stopped. It was closed and it had no idea how to open it. Approaching it placed its foot on it and pushed but to no avail. Taking a step back it tried to assess the situation. It could not open the doors and it was quite obvious Victoria could not open the doors. It looked down at her in its arms. Something about that was recognizable, as if it had seen it before. Its hold on her shifted as a lightheaded feeling came over it. It's eyes shut before it knew what it was doing. Yet still it held her and kept standing. Suddenly from deep within its chest, a rythmatic pulse began to beat out. ~His brown eyes opened to the world, a smile touching his lips as he glanced down into is arms. There was his beloved, her flowing blonde hair trailing over his arms as he carried her. She was in her white gown as it was tradition. He raised his attention to the rest of the room. The chamber was filled with family and friends all cheering.~ |

It was a bit shocking, all at once, for the the queen, who was trying to overcome a great deal already. What fortune, had brought all of them home? By the gods, she was never more thankful. Without them, She was not she...Gwenefiere could not be who she was then, without their prior effect. They were her family, when she had none. And that had been most of her life. Unconsciously, she fiddled with the edge of the cotton blanket that covered the Druid, watching Alain approach. Gem-like eyes glittered up at him in the bright light of the room, and she nodded. "That's fine. Tell her, our meeting is urgent, and I will see her shortly. I have..." She broke off for a moment, her finger tips going to her temple. She dropped them quickly though and the glaze retreating from her eyes as quickly as it had come, a smile even attempting her lips. Waving it off, she continued. "I won't be long..." Gwenefiere returned his kiss and her eyes dropped to the Druid for a moment, before another spike of pain planted itself in her mind. It was not something foreign though. It had merely not been recognized on the first time around. Her face shifted with an off swiftness, that was becoming a normal with the queen. She would have disliked it, had she noticed it. The white-wash walls were becoming suddenly blaring in the bright lights, sound pressing in on her, as if she were having some sort of attack, The pressure on her mind, brought her to her feet, and she stepped toward the windows, pushing them open so the autumn air could drive away the spell. She was needed by the priestess. She could feel it like being hit with a ton of bricks. That would take some getting used to. It had not been so strong before, but now, she felt it. It felt almost like when her mother... Gwenefiere stopped herself there, not allowing that path to be tread at the moment. It would do nothing but make the tasks before her more difficult than they already were. Stepping back to Xaomen, she sat once more and reached for a cool hand. "I hate to cut you off, Xaomen, but I have a pressing matter to attend to..." Truth shone in her eyes, as she smiled gently to him. "But we will meet when you are ready. Just ask one of the guards to bring you to me, when you are well enough. I am sorry, My Friend, but I must go for a time." She bent forward and pecked his cheek gently, before standing, her skirts swirling around lengthy legs. Her leather shoes made no sound on the stone of the floor, but her slender feet certainly stayed warm. With that, she headed for the door. With natural grace, she strode down the halls, weaving her way back in to the temple. It was empty, and no others had passed through, since her, save for a weregaurd. The Deity could smell the scent of his path, much like the predator that she was. She smelled a variety of other things as well, one scent reminding her of the prior evening's events. The scent of the rain brought back the almost dream like reunion... Her dark heart burned blissfully, as she made her way across the temple floor. The Circle was felt, and obvious around the upper alter. She walked through it, the air changing as she entered, and again as she exited. The path was clear, and Gwenefiere was soon at the grand recreation of herself. She looked up at it with thoughtful acknowledgment, and moved around it, to it's back. A door stood here, set into the statue making it not so obvious in the usual , deep blackness that the temple held. Even in the day, darkness shrouded it's innards. Making it impossible for any to navigate, unless they had light or vampire eyes. Behind this door, The creature stood. It had not been long since he had gotten there, but The door lifted when she arrived, the for of the two before her. Her eyes widened just a little and she stepped to them, to Help take hold of Victoria. Not thinking, merely acting on instinct alone. |

OOC: Ok, I am going to post then...lmao IC: Victoria felt the creature's halt and groggily opened her eyes. Moving her head and eyes slightly, her body slumped a bit as she saw the exit was not accessable. As the creature tried to foce it open, she knew it was no use. Trying to concentrate, Victoria narrowed her eyes at the door but could only sigh and leaned her head back against the creature. When it looked down at her, Victoria looked upward. She could feel her body falter in his arms and watched his eyes close. Victoria feared for the creature and she placed her palm on it's chest, considering that was about the most she could do. Moments later a familiar sound found it's way to her ears. The breath caught in her throat. Pulling her head away, Victoria looked at the creature's chest. Not that she would see anything, but it was a reaction. The strength came from her surprise. As she looked at the being bewildered, his eyes still closed, the door opened and Victoria felt a rush of cool air. Turning an unsteady gaze to the doorway, she saw the queen. A wave of relief swept over her as the woman approached. Still, when she offered to help the creature, Victoria reactively drew closer to him. She didn't know if the creature was concious or not. He had spoke earlier of visions, but why would they effect him now? He could fall down the stairwell. The beating in it's chest was not forgotten and she made it a point to remember even as hard as it was to simply keep herself awake. Victoria's head nodded a bit and she forced it back against the creature. |

OOC: ok, I just couldn't help myself...lmao Nicholette stood and waited patiently for this Alain character. The sun's movement in the sky above her only making her antsy more so. Walking to the doors of the temple, Nicholette leaned up against the wooden doors. Humming a song that she had no memory of learning, her head and shoulders moved side to side in time. To some she probably appeared as a lunatic talking to herself, but that was more common that not. Reaching into her jacket, Nicholette pulled out a rollie and another pack of matches. The memory of the other lost box irritating her a bit. The usual flare of fire and smell of sulphur comforting. Lighting the rolled herb, Nicholette took a long drag and enjoyed the taste. It wasn't as fresh as she preferred, but it would do until she found more. The release of sobriety took a few moments, but soon she was smiling to herself. Looking at the woman standing before her, Nicholette looked to the sky again and sighed. She really needed to find the golem. The money was tantalizing. With the war against Ombra Di Notta, she knew her message must have been recieved. Soon she would be bathing in leaves. The thought widened her smile. Unfortunately the smile disappeared and she turned her head to the door. Every hair on the back of her neck stood on edge. Nicholette couldn't explain it but for a moment she swore that someone was behind her. Perhaps the Alain being was coming? Taking a step back from the door, she made room for it to open. Taking another long drag, she tapped her foot on the stone beneath her. Neither door opened. Turning her head to the woman, Nicholette looked for a moment and decided to head inside. Surely Lady Sabre would find her should the Alain being come from the other way. Opening the door with a great pull, Nicholette felt the cool rush of air sweep over her. The darkness inside a bit intimidating. Inhaling the small twist again, she exhaled slowly and aiming her head outside. It seemed disrespectful to disturb the air inside. Butting it out, she tossed the end on the stone outside and entered. Leaving the door cracked, she needed some light to see. A huge ivory fountain before her brought a knot into her stomach. The liquid was not water... What had she gotten herself into? There was no one in sight. Walking forward, she passed the fountain. Even in the dim light she could see the thickness to the fluid. Shivering, Nicholette held a hand to her mouth. The walls were adorned so elegantly yet morbidly. Gooseflesh surfaced as her eyes grazed everything inside. The statue at the back of the room almost seemed to gaze into her soul. "Holy, shit..." The idiomatic expression from childhood was the only thought that crossed her mind. Frozen in place she could hear her heart beat. |

The creatures eyes snapped open. That very moment the beating in its chest adruptly stopped. The vision ending the moment Gwenefiere had reached out for Victoria. Almost protectively it drew back away from Gwenefiere. The beating in its chest stopped It's eyes a swirling mess as they shift from the brown color back to their aquamarine. It's eyes narrowed for a moment at the queen as if she were some hostile threat. Its wits gathered quickly. Recollection of the events leading up to the current moment. It realised had it stepped back another step or so it was likely it would have fallen down the awaiting stairs. It dragged its attention back to the queen, blinking once to make sure she was there. It then began to slowly walk past her, or atleast attempt to. The visions once again its anoyance. It wanted to be rid of them if not simply to regain the ability to act without possible interruptions that could cause problems. What if it had attacked the queen, surely Victoria would dissaprove and it wished not to upset Victoria. |
