Forgotten: No one can escape. A great flash emerged above all of Aronia leaving each with short term memory loss. Years lost to the fog of amnesia. Can no one recall? That appears to be the case. Whom or what is responsible? Panic has stricken the globe. Will civilization collapse? What will emerge from the reset? Only time will tell. To each citizen of Aronia from the Global Gazette, we wish all luck.
Welcome to Aronia. We hope you enjoy your visit.

It didn't respond immediatly to her question. It processed the visions and what was so unsettling about them. No single thing in what it could remember of the visions were cause for dislike. It stopped at stairwell as it thought. Its eyes narrowing again though in thought this time.

"I am not sure why I dislike them. I do not understand the visions and the visions come without warning." it looked down at her then back at the stairwell. The problem it had stopped for suddenly being realised, "and I am not operating as well as usual, they distract even now." it looked back to her, then looked her over, "Can you remove your arm from around me, I will hold you still so you will not fall."

Victoria waited patitenly as the creature thought. His need to consider why he did not care for the visions seemed odd to her but his answer clarified the matter. As they stood there, Victoria looked at the flickering light of the torches. She was relieved they were still alight. Victoria did not know if she had the strength to work such a simple trick. That would all be over within the next few minutes. Or so she hoped. Victoria needed to get to the queen as quickly as possible. She was in no shape to do anything for the creature alone. One word he spoke almost bothered her.

"Operating?" Victoria withdrew her arm as asked, "You are not a machine or inanimate object," She paused while thinking exactly what the creature was and poked lightly on the exposed flesh on his chest, "Or so it feels," Victoria smiled, amused at herself. She stood as still as possible and waited for the creature's next move considering she really had no other choice.

It did indeed feel like flesh, the skin oddly soft in comparison with harsh muscle laying beneath. A brow raised as it pondered her word, "If I do not refer to it as operation, then what word should I use?" it asked sincerely. Gently taking the hand she was using to poke it. It wasn't sure why it was doing what it was doing, it was rather a round about way of what it had planned. It placed her hand on her own hip as it slowly stepped behind her, its other hand going to her other hip. Letting go of her hand it gripped her hip with the other hand, now applying a gentle pressure.

"Now we can proce...continue." it had changed the word. Deciding that apparently Victoria had wished it to speak more like her and the others it had encountered. Though it could not imagine what was wrong with the way it spoke. As far as it had read it was speaking well. Yet the lack of knowledge in social interaction was playing a large part in its choice of words and the way it spoke.

OOC: all right. I replied once and it didn't go through and I am tired so I'm a bit pissed off. SO, this one isn't as long.

IC:
Victoria shook her head gently, regretting her wording.

"I only meant that..." The creature's actions distracting her thought process. As he positioned himself, Victoria's cheeks flushed again from the carnal desire that made itself ever so common while in the creature's presence. She did not know what his intention was until he spoke the second time. Tension that Victoria felt almost caused nervous laughter. Looking up the stairwell, she supposed he wanted her to step forward and so she did. Victoria remembered his first question and wanted to finish her statement.

"You should use whatever word you wish. I cannot make nor suggest your vocabulary. It is simply assumed you do not connect with yourself and your place in this world. An identity of your own," Victoria turned her head slightly for a bit of periphreal vision. Looking back toward the stairwell, she continued to step forward and would do so until the creature bade her to halt.

It stepped with her, making sure she did not fall as she walked. Though its fingers did not remain still. Idly, without its knowledge, its fingers began to almost massage her. "I see..." its mind was on her statement of speech. Though it did step up a bit closer to her as they aproached the stairs.

"To sound like a creature I should refer to myself as a who, not an it?" it didn't like how it worded the question though it wasn't sure how else to ask. Though it knew that was in general idea of what she meant, it needed to be certain. It was obviously in no hurry itself, as it stopped as often as she did. Its ownly concern was her getting where she wanted and how she wanted, it seemed.

OOC:Mine isn't too long either.

Victoria kept a steady pace and started up the stairs. Then she noticed the creature's hands and reduced space between them. Gritting her teeth, she looked to the ceiling and took a deep breath in frustration with her body's reaction. Closing her eyes for a moment, she almost missed his inquiry.

"In not so many words, yes," He had summed it up quite accurately. Victoria was not in the condition for involved thought and she tried to hide that fact as well as possible. She did not want him to feel as if she had shrugged him off. Surely the temperature of her skin was not equal to what it registered in her veins. The more she tried to not think of his touch, the harder it became to not. She was just as surprised as receptive. The last thing Victoria expected from teh creature was anything but a stand-offish approach. Concentrating on one step at a time, Victoria ventured further.

Reaching the stairs, Victoria paused and turned her head slightly to address the creature once more. The actual logistics of how they were getting up the flight seemed akward. More so she was worried about losing her step and them both falling down the stairs. That would not be pleasant in the least. Her mind visualized the thought which went in the same direction as her reaction to his touch.

"How will this work?" Victoria had to vocalize her concern one way or the other and that was the most direct as she could divulge.

The creature was thinking on how to address itself in the future. Though it saw nothing wrong with how it had done it, it was obvious that its method would not pass while talking to others. When she came to a hault it almost bumped into her before stopping. Looking to the stairs it was afraid it had made a miscalculation.

"I thought perhaps the steps were wide for my foot to remain behind yours, was I wrong?" it asked quizically as it began to size up the steps. Of course its suggestion on how they would walk would mean he would be at her back the entire way up with no room between them. Its hand finally stopped what they had been doing do as it began to think again.

"The only other option is to carry you up, like i had carried you down here." it stated as it sized up the stairway again, then looked back down to her. It knew she did not want to be carried but unless she walked on her own, "Or I can remain one step behind to aid in maintaning your balance but I do not believe your condition to be permitting of such."

Victoria nodded to herself more than the creature. The still of his hands allowing her to have clearer thought.

"You were not wrong," She tried to choose more flattering words rather than she had a complete lapse in mental ability, "For a moment I did not understand, that is all." The creature's option of carrying her immediately brought back the feelings of helplessness.

"No, I need at least a bit of dignity," Victoria spoke with a half smile. She had to laugh some at herself otherwise she would be quite unplesant. Looking down to the step before her, Victoria began to climb.

It's grip on her waist tightened a bit, only incase she became unstable. Yet its grip was far from enough to be uncomfortable. It followed her carefully as she began to climb the stairs. Its eyes watching her from behind.

To its own surprise its eyes did not wander, instead it was watching her as the began to ascend the stairs. It wondered if its resent actions had been caused by the incident in the jail or if it was something else. It seemed to be loosing control of its self on occasion, like it was under control again but almost as if it was not another creatures commands. It was an odd thing yet it could not draw its eyes away.

As Victoria made her way up the stairs, she put her hands over the creature's to steady herself further. Only a few steps from the top, the strength in her legs began to give and she stopped for a moment. Everything before her grew blurry and her eye lids heavy.

"I'm not..." Victoria tried to hold tight onto the creature, but she had no strength in her arms either. Her body would not make it as far as she hoped. Then again, she was lucky to have gotten as far as she had. Regardless of how, she had to get her strength returned. The closest possible solution was the fountain. Trying to focus and regain her composure, the exertion did just the opposite. Before she could turn to the creature, her body betrayed her will again. Falling backward, Victoria knew the creature was there and hoped he would not let her plummet down the stairwell. She was just barely concious and keeping herself that way was a feat in itself.
