Forgotten: No one can escape. A great flash emerged above all of Aronia leaving each with short term memory loss. Years lost to the fog of amnesia. Can no one recall? That appears to be the case. Whom or what is responsible? Panic has stricken the globe. Will civilization collapse? What will emerge from the reset? Only time will tell. To each citizen of Aronia from the Global Gazette, we wish all luck.

It was a bit perplexed by her actions. Though they did seem familiar. Of course, before he had been given the use of the fountain. In the holding cell, that was when something similar had occured. To say it was confused was almost an understatement. It had no idea why it had acted the way it did. The actions taken there were unecessary and benefited no-one as far as it could tell.

Yet still it stood there staring at her. Thoughts trying to find what to do. Her last statement caused it to shake its head. She could not be of any assistance in her current condition. Though it wasn't sure if bed rest was what she needed, she could not stand on her own and that would be little more than an added nuisance.

"No, you must regain your strength." it stated, as it looked her over. Last time she was in bed she was covered. It reached over her and began to draw up the blankets to cover her.

As the creature covered her, Victoria became irritated at herself. When the creature reached her waist with the linens, Victoria sat up and seized his wrists where they were.

"If you want to help, retrieve a garnment from the wardrobe," Victoria nodded to her right, "Then we can get to the fountain," That was the only other option she figured on trying. Maybe she simply needed more blood granted it was her own. For a moment she was light-headed and dizzy. Her grip eased on the creature and she closed her eyes briefly. The nausea returned. Taking a breath, the wave ceased.

"Please," Victoria realized how domineering she sounded and immediately felt like an ass.

It looked at her quizically when she stopped it. It turned its head to look where she had pointed and then back to her. It nodded and simply obeyed. Letting go of the sheets it walked over to the wardrobe and opened it.

It wasnt sure what it was looking for so it simply grabbed a dress from the wardrobe. Then walking back over to her it leaned over her and set the dress on the bed next to her. Its eyes lingered on her for a moment before it slowly began to stand again. "I do not understand why we are going if you are so weak." it stated quite bluntly, "Am I to carry you there?" it was more of a suggestion than a question as it did not think she was strong enough to stand on her own.

The closeness of the creature took her breath away. She could have laughed at herself for such foolishness. The being's pause only fueling the fire under her skin. Victoria took hold of the dress once the creature set it down and turned to let her legs fall over the side of the bed. Pulling the dress over her head, Victoria situated it as comfortably as possible while the creature spoke. He had a valid point, but she had to try to get there. What else could she do? Laying in bed would not stengthen her any further.

"I would like to try to walk again," She looked up at the creature, "If I cannot, your help would be greatly appreciated." Victoria tied the front of the dress until it was snug and accentuated the parts it was so fitted for. Smoothing the material, she took a deep breath and stood for a long moment. Her hope rose but was immediately crushed as she felt her legs threaten to give. Sitting back onto the bed frustrated, Victoria pursed her lips and sighed. Embarassment replaced the other emotions. She hated being so weak, especially in front of the creature. Victoria was supposed to help him, not the other way around. Tears threatened to spill but she choked them back. Her pride badly bruised, Victoria held out her hand.

"I belive drinking from the fountain will fix this..." She didn't know which word would describe her handicap as effectively as she felt it was, "condition."

The creature thought for a moment on the situation. It was obvious that Victoria wanted to walk, though it could not see the problem with being carried if one could not walk. Then again pride was not something it had yet learned to comprehend. Still it tried to think of an answer for this problem. Then an idea came to it.

It slowly helped her back to her feet. Gently holding her upright as it pulled her next to it. It then placed an arm around her, the hand taking hold of her hip. Position so she may lean on him for support by placing her arm around it. Its hold was firm yet held no real pressure as it was being careful not to harm her. "Will this work?" the question left it as it looked to her, awaiting either approval and dissaproval.

Victoria followed the creature's lead as he tucked her next to him. Wrapping her arm around its lower back, she held on firmly. She was tempted to nuzzle her face into the side of the creature, but brushed the notion aside.

"Thank you, this should suffice," Her eyes remaining on its face for a moment and a small smile forcing to form. Breifly guilt made itself known. His actions were most likely a result from his splashing around in the fountain above them. Her eyes hit the floor and the smile left her lips. She shook her head slightly and sighed. Weakly, she looked back to the creature.

"Lead the way."

Again, it had been a bit puzzled by her actions. She almost seemed to avoiding eye contact with it while not being able to. At her command it did as it was told and began to lead the way. It contimplated stating that this method would be slower but as it looked back down to her something made it decide not to. A curious look came to its face, the smirk threatening to appear as it tugged at the corner of its lips.

"As you wish." it stated as it took the lead, helping her walk while almost carrying astride itself. Its arm giving enough support that she could walk and she was not supporting most of her own weight. Also keeping a slow walk so she would not strain herself.

"Is this pace alright or are there accomodations to be met?" it asked as it looked back down to her. By now the smirk was gone as was the curious expression. It had slowed to an almost stop as it presented the question.

Victoria was eager to get above ground as they walked. Although she was a vampire, Victoria found it comforting to be above ground. Besides, she had a lot to do and her condition would be fixed soon. The sight of the stairwell making her more eager to finish the journey. The slowing of the pace brought her eyes to the creature's face. His words explained the halt. Victoria searched his face and found nothing again. She smiled, laughing at herself mentally.

"This is quite all right," She looked back at the stairs and waited for the creature to begin again.

The creature lead the way at the previous pace without saying a word. All the while it thought on things, everything really. Its mind never stoping on a subject that couldn't yet be deciphered in its head. It simply moved onto the next as it logically dictated everything. Victoria's actions were one of the few subjects it had yet to decipher, that and the visions that plagued it recently.

At least there had no been any for a short while, it almost hoped for no more. It's eyes narrowed as they walked, its mouth parting for a second as it formed the sentence, "I believe I dislike the visions, or memories if they are." it stated as it continued to walk, this time not slowing down for speaking.

OOC: One short post deserves another I guess.

Victoria's eyes were locked on the path before them. Her anxiety growing with each step but not her strength. His words almost did not register and she took a moment to process them.

"You dislike them?" The fact that he could discern that much was quite a turning point, "What is it that you dislike?" Victoria continued to walk weakly, the creature her support as she spoke. The stairs that lay only a few feet ahead were initimdating to say the least. It was a narrow stairwell and she did not know how they were both going to fit side by side. It was simply not physically possible. Still, her gaze rose to his face, his statement intriguing her.

OOC: yeah, they will get longer I promise.
