Forgotten: No one can escape. A great flash emerged above all of Aronia leaving each with short term memory loss. Years lost to the fog of amnesia. Can no one recall? That appears to be the case. Whom or what is responsible? Panic has stricken the globe. Will civilization collapse? What will emerge from the reset? Only time will tell. To each citizen of Aronia from the Global Gazette, we wish all luck.
Welcome to Aronia. We hope you enjoy your visit.

Nicholette watched as the wolf left the building, keeping her nose from wrinkling. Never really did like dogs, their smell just rancid. Turning back to the woman, Nicholette shrugged.

"Now is fine for me as well," The classmate issue was no big deal for her. Besides, whoever it was could keep her company throughout the lessons.

"Who's gonna be joining us? He, eh?" Nicholette raised an eyebrow. She had never met a man who couldn't use a sword of all things. The poor guy must have been living under a rock.

It was confused by her question. Had it been hurt and not known it? A quick checkover of itself visually assured it that no harm had been done. "No, I am not hurt." its eyes further changed, slowly back to their pure aquamarine colour. Finally its eyes rested back on her.

"I have questions...incidents that are..confusing." it stared at her blankly as it searched for the proper words of what it was trying to describe, "Visions...I think, dillusions maybe..." it tried one of the larger words it had taken from the book it had finished rewritting earlier. Then its attention was brought back to the condition of the room then to Victoria again.

"Are you hurt?" it asked, it was obvious that something was not right. It was assuming these were effects of the ritual she had performed before passing out. The whole ordeal seemed complicated and it still didn't fully understand it.

Watching the creature search for wounds, Victoria herself couldn't help but gaze upon him as well. Her eyes until he spoke and she caught his again, only catching the end of the changing hue. She reflexively narrowed her eyes a bit. Before she could think of a reason why he spoke again. Having more questions didn't surprise her in the least, in fact she assumed there would be some sort of inquiry about the ritual. As he stared for a moment, Victoria tried to sit up but she could barely lift her neck from the pillow. Sighing, she listened to the rest of his statement. If the creature had been created, then why would he be seeing visions of sorts or dilusions? Pulling her arms back, Victoria slid herself up onto the pillow and she sat up. Taking a few deep breaths from the movement, she didn't get to reply to his statement before he spoke again.

"Hurt?" Victoria smiled and shook her head slowly, "No, I am more exhausted." She really did not want to tell him that she had indeed come close to dying. Physically she was fine now, the blood had taken care of any danger. Now that she had some movement, Victoria began to remember the ritual. Pursing her lips, she thought for a moment of the creatures predicament. Finding it hard to concentrate, Victoria cursed herself for the weakness. Still, the more information she had then the better she could help. Holding her breath, Victoria used all of her strength to slide a bit away from the edge. She patted the bed beside her softly, as she really could not do any more.

"Tell me more of these visions and what you belive them to be," Victoria watched the creature, hoping he would understand her gesture. She had been alone in her mind for what seemed like ages. As well, having him closer to her, he would hopefully not sense her doubt.

It hadn't taken to realising the gesture of patting the bed immediatly. It actually pondered on what it may mean for a moment before taking a seat on the provided spot of the bed. Slowly it organized what it could remember of the visions, putting them in order, and then deciding how to describe them.

"They are not clear now...though the first was while I was in the ritual chamber. I was some..armored man, having just won a great battle..I presume because I was standing amongst bodies of warriors that had fallen." it stared at her, though its expression was blank its voice did carry a hint of confusion.

"The second vision I was carrying you from the ritual chamber and felt like my head was empty. I set you down so I would not drop you...then I was him again, the man..." it tried to recall that vision. It was harder for some odd reason, "I was after another man...and had killed his gaurds. I wanted him dead, and was pleased that I was going to kill him. Then I was myself, I picked you up and carried you here." It motioned to the bed just incase there was some confusion on where here was in reference to.

"I had left to go to the books to perhaps find out after speaking of the previous visions with the queen but I was drawn to the sounds of people. I decided to watch them." it was speaking of the market place and the civilians gathered around there, "The third vision was shorter...I was the same man and a woman was holding my arm and I was happy she was there. That was all before I was me again, then I came here." it then motioned to the chair he had been sitting at.

"The last vision I had there, I was looking upon a sickly girl on a bed and was....sad, then someone came in...something about a name." it looked around the room then back to her, "It is all very confusing." it stated with that blank expression still on its face, "I think I may still be broken."

"Yes, he," Sabre grinned. "His name is Alain. I believe you saw him yesterday when the two of us dealt with those mutts in the barracks." A snarl found its way to Sabre's dark face at the thought of those who'd infiltrated their peaceful city. Standing, she moved to the door, beckoning Nicholette with a nod of her head and a smile.

As soon as both women were outside, Sabre closed the door. It locked automatically and she spun, leading her new student towards the temple. "I've lived here in Ombra di Notta for quite a few centuries now," Sabre said, setting a gentle pace. Her dress and cloak billowed behind her regally, and everything about her posture shouted court etiquette. "The Queen and High Priestess are very good friends of mine, as well as the General, so you can see why I intend to defend this place and its rulers with every last bit of strength in my body." She chuckled quietly, and stopped talking for a few moments.

"Recently, we've learned that there is an evil army attempting to infiltrate our beautiful city. If I'm not mistaken, judging by the way you look upon Norban and the other wereguards, I'd say you dislike werewolves. Or perhaps dogs in general... If that's so, you'll be happy to know that many of the soldiers of the enemy force are canine. Ah, here we are... The temple of Ombra di Notta... home of High Priestess Victoria."

As she reached the top of the steps, Sabre stopped. "Here is where we shall wait for Alain."
Wash: I think they really captured his essence.
Kaylee: He looks kinda mean.
Wash: That's sorta what I meant.
Simon: This must be what going mad feels like.
Kaylee: Everywhere I go, his eyes keep followin' me...

Keeping her eyes on the creature, his thought process apparent before he sat beside her. Victoria watched the creature as he spoke, glancing at the few places he gestured to. His own confusion seemed to bother the creature. Victoria tried to envision his words in her mind and understood why he would be so confused. The most important fact that she would need detailed the man as him, a purposely given memory or situation a former conjurer had endured. Still, something had to have occured to bring forth the visions. His final statement caught Victoria off guard. Finding the words funny, she began to laugh heartily. Tears formed in her eyes as she laughed and she wiped them clear. Forcing herself quiet, her eyes still gleamed and a grin was upon her face.

"Not broken," Victoria took one of the creature's hands and patted it gently, "Just very, very..." She searched for a word, "Scattered right now. It will all come together with time." Victoria glanced to the shattered glass for a moment in thought and turned back to the creature. She hated being so helpless but with every passing moment her strength was returning.

"Thank you for bringing me here when I could not," Her tone was much more serious than before. Memories of the ritual were not escapeable.

"As for the visions," She had to think of her wording, "Is the man you or are you witnessing what happens to him through his eyes? And for the name, is it the man's or the girl's or the one who entered?"

She etched the name into her memory as Lady Sabre spoke. What she did see was the golem but how could that be a he? Unless of course it was an enchanted golem, which was entirely possible. She had never seen a golem turn into a being of sorts that needed to be taught magic. The situation did not make sense at all. Vorhen was in for a surprise once he learned of the golem's shifting abilities.

Nicholette followed the woman outside, the air refreshing. The woman's grace superceeded her own, but Nicholette was not self-concious of that aspect. Sure she didn't act like a girl should, but who made the rules anyway? Men? Nicholette was more man than most. Listening intently, she was surprised to hear of Lady Sabre's connections. With the few moments, Nicholette decided to let the woman know she was paying attention.

"We all need something to defend," It was a general statement but true. Even she had something to fight for. The woman's observation for her dislike of dogs made her smile. Of course she had her reasons, everyone did. Looking up at the temple, she admired the designs and effort put into the building of such a place. Obviously it was a structure of great importance in the city and surely the golem would make his way here are one point or another and in one form or another. Stopping beside Lady Sabre, Nicholette looked around for any creature that seemed to be headed thier way. She had no idea what to look for.

It looked at her as it thought. "The man is me...I am the man." it stated. Though it wasn't entirely sure it understood the vision or how it was presented. It looked her over, noticing how she was slowly becoming more active. It was good she was regaining her strength.

"The name is the...." its eyes closed as it tried to recall the vision. As its eyes opened they were a swirl of aquamarine and a light brown. Though the aquamarine soon engulfed the other colour as quickly as it had appeared.

"The name is of a man, not me, who poisoned the woman." it stated then gave a shake of its head as if it was trying to shrug off something. It looked back to her and tilted its head, "Perhaps memories of the man used as components for my summoning?"

Victoria watched the creature as he spoke, his uncertainty making his words more revealing than expected. Confirming that it was he in the memory made it just that, a memory. Perhaps a past life. Waiting on a name for a moment, Victoria would have much more to investigate with one.

The color change in his eyes puzzled her, the depth of the situation growing. Considering the brown did not stay long spoke much about the creature's position as well as the color actually being there. The lack of a name disappointed her a bit but nothing to get her down. However the speak of poison caught her attention, her eyes widening briefly. Especially considering they had recently repaired the ancient tome that spoke of the guardians. Mayce had used the tactic to wipe out the true guardian race, save himself. Victoria barely caught the last statement as her mind raced.

"Possible, very possible," Victoria replied, aknowledging him but her thoughts wandering. Had she known exactly how he was created the answer would be simple. The thought of the poisoned woman bothered Victoria immensely. Just the implication of dealings with the wizard was unsettling. She could no longer sit there. Too much had to be done. Gathering her strength for a moment, Victoria slid to the end of the bed and put each foot on the floor.

"We need to find what triggers your flash backs," Victoria slowly began to stand, "Then understand what they are revealing." Keeping a hand towards the bed, Victoria stood solidly. That was the easy part. Taking a gradual first step, she felt her knees buckle and caught herself on the bed. How she hated to be seen so pathetically. Standing again, she made it almost to the bathroom door and stood, resting.

"I am going to bathe and dress," The cape she wore still would not be acceptable for the public, "We need to solve any aspect of your situation quickly," Griting her teeth, Victoria forced herself forward to the door. Her hand on the door knob kept her on her feet.

"You are welcome to either stay or leave and I will find you," Turning from the creature, Victoria opened the door and closed it behind her. Leaning against the wood, she breathed deeply. Her walk to the bathroom hopefully looked more graceful than she felt. Silly for her to worry about her appearance but she did none the less.
