Forgotten: No one can escape. A great flash emerged above all of Aronia leaving each with short term memory loss. Years lost to the fog of amnesia. Can no one recall? That appears to be the case. Whom or what is responsible? Panic has stricken the globe. Will civilization collapse? What will emerge from the reset? Only time will tell. To each citizen of Aronia from the Global Gazette, we wish all luck.
Welcome to Aronia. We hope you enjoy your visit.

It nodded at her answer to the blood. It cared not about the deceit, such a thing was foreign to it and thus had no reason to get upset, though likely it couldn't. It noted how much they had done, how long it had taken, and how much they had talked about.

"So you changed species?" This was an odd concept but now that it knew such could be done it would no longer be surprised if such is said again, "Hm..." it finished one page and started again.

It grew quiet, having no more questions at the moment, now work was its only task and now that it was concentrating on just the work it began to work quicker yet again, being careful to let the pages dry.

Victoria watched the creature, this time she was thankful he seemed to be void of emotion. The way he worded her change she had never thought about in that sense. The silence allowed her weariness to make itself known again. Taking the two papers and the book, Victoria dipped the pen into the ink and took the book, papers and pen to the chair and sat down. Pulling the small table close to her Victoria set the torn sheets on the table and sat the book on her knees. Continuing to write, she just barely finished the page with the ink on the pen. Setting both the pen and book onto the table, she sat back for a moment to allow the ink to dry.

Victoria was only going to close her eyes for a moment. However, her body had another idea. Seconds later she was slumped on the side of the chair fast asleep. Luckily dreams did not come so suddenly. A peaceful rest was something much needed.

At first it did not realise the silence that had filled the room. It had finished several pages before it glanced back at her to find her asleep. It watched her for a few moments, as if studying her, then went back to work.

It was careful to not make a sound and while she slept it could potentionally finisht he work, assuming nothing happened. This place was full of unexpected things thus far but with luck it would be quiet.

Some Time had passed and Victoria's sleep was undisturbed by dreams, her body quickly recharging. Then the dreams came. Unlike her previous ones of violence and anger, they were more life-like, as if it were really happening and not a dream at all. It was herself and the creature in the ritual hall, he was bound by the wrists to a pillar with shackles that were magically binding as well as physical. Such did exist outside her dream. Many liquids and mixtures cluttered the altar, which had bettn used to both be ingested and used for writing upon the creature in many different symbols. Victoria herself was mixming another paste-like material in a small silver bowl.

Outside the dream, Victoria still slept on, however her fingers would occasionally move, as if drawing a pattern on the leather. Her face too would contort in concentration at times.

Continuing witin the dream, Victoria took the fresh concoction and molded it into place on the seven major chakras of the body. Eventhough the creature still was silent, he looked at her, almost seeming unaffected. Fortunately the energy would still be effected even without physical aknowledgement. Her next move was back to the altar, where she picked up a small but sharp dagger. Returning to the creature, she held it up to his chest, watching the reflection of the candlelight making the dagger almost appear to glow. The creature continued to watch in silence. Smoothly, she made a small slice and a trickle of dark red blood immediately beaded on the suface. The bloodlust that overwhelmed her in the dream was almost intoxicating. She clenched her jaw tight and she swallowed hard as she salivated over the sight and smell.

"Am I real now?" The creature asked in her dream. Victoria smiled and nodded. She touched her fingers to the blood. Looking to the creature who watched her as well, she needed one last bit to complete the ritual.

"The final task, you must tell me your name," The creature did not respond and Victoria began to get anxious, "Tell me," She demanded a bit more forefully.

Victoria's sleeping form quietly and a little slurred also repeated the two words, tell me. Her fists clenched and eyebrows furrowed as she said the words again, still in slumber.

Its work on the new book had neared completion as it began to move between her half of the completed book and its own as it waited for the pages to dry. This was getting the work done and a far quicker pace. Then she stirred and mumbled and it stopped, curious as to what was happening.

It watched and listened, the only thing audible was the occasional 'tell me' that Victoria seemed to get out. It watched as the Priestess grew more and more fustrated it seemed, angered almost, at something. It attempted to continue to work once but the distraction too great to concentrate on.

"Victoria." it said in a soft tone, trying to wake her, "Victoria?" it questioned wondering if sleeping creatures were often so active. Slowly it reached out and placed it's hand gently on her shoulder and gave her a light shake to try and wake her from her slumber.

Still within slumber, the creature answered her. However, it was not what she expected. He simply stated her name twice. Feeling mocked, Victoria gritted her teeth and walked back to the altar table to set the blade back in its place. She could not finish the ritual if he would not name himself. As silly as it seemed, it was the final binding of the spell. Returning to the creature, she stood before him for a moment in silence. It was at this time that she had in her reality been shook. The ties of dream and reality were severed, she woke, but she was still living her dream. Her eyes were open and the anger she felt in the dream was clearly displayed. Seeing the creature and not knowing the difference between the real and vision of the creature, she took him by the throat.

"Tell me your name!" She ordered the being, her hand slowly tightening. Victoria did not intend on harming the creature, her grasp was merely a reflection of her frustration.

It did not react to being grasped about the throat, though it was curious as to what had led this course of action. The grip about its throat tightened and she demanded that it told her its name. It slowly drew its hand back from her shoulder.

"I have no name to give." it stated though speaking was labored because of the grasp on its throat, luckily it had no need to breathe except for speaking. Normally some sort of defense would have started but due to its pact with her it had no reason to do so. It simply stared into her eyes and waited for her next action.

Victoria looked at the creature, puzzled but hand still tight aganst his throat.

"You were supposed to give yourself one," She spoke the words, glaring at him. Then she blinked quickly twice. Immediately her grip let loose and her hand fell away. Realizing what just happened, she could feel her face heat up and blush.

"I'm sorry," She stammered, scratching the back of her neck, with the hand that had grasped him, nervously, "I must have been dreaming," Victoria leaned back in the chair and strummed her fingers on the leather.

"I didn't realize I fell asleep..." Victoria tried to get off topic out of embarassment. She knew she had some crazy dreams, but never acted them out before. She met his eyes and quickly looked away. Taking a deep breath she held it for a moment and released it. It felt quite akward for her. Dreams were private, never meant to be known by others. Especially the ones involved.

"Perhaps you have a room to sleep in so you do not disturb the work?" it asked as if nothing was wrong, to it there wasn't. Instead it turned back to the work it was doing. Taking its seat once again and starting back where it had left off.

"So this asleep. What is it for?" It asked as it continued to work, already its mind working on the new concept of something it didn't fully understand. Unfortunantly for it the thought passed as a new one occupied it.

"Why did you attack me?" this was the question it wanted answered. Though it could hardly call it an attack, it was the only word it knew to fit the description of what she did.

Victoria nodded when the creature spoke of a room, thinking of heading there herself. She smiled when he asked of sleeping. It was cute in a way just the way he spoke.

"Sleeping helps refresh your body and mind. Almost like recharging. Many creatures sleep, it's just an easy way for the body to reduce stress to fix itself," That was a way Victoria understood sleep. Then he asked what she was trying to avoid. Biting her lip, she thought of how to respond.

"I was dreaming..." He would probably ask what dreaming was, and that she could explain. Hopefully he would just skip exactly what she was dreaming. It wasn't that it was a bad thing that she had been dreaming, it was just personal. Why was she even dreaming of him in the first place was Victoria's question to herself. Perhaps it was all of the time just writing and talking that had her mind in all sorts. Either way, she couldn't change what had happened.
