Forgotten: No one can escape. A great flash emerged above all of Aronia leaving each with short term memory loss. Years lost to the fog of amnesia. Can no one recall? That appears to be the case. Whom or what is responsible? Panic has stricken the globe. Will civilization collapse? What will emerge from the reset? Only time will tell. To each citizen of Aronia from the Global Gazette, we wish all luck.
Welcome to Aronia. We hope you enjoy your visit.

IC: Through the deep and spiraling wilderness it sulked. Dernched from outside in, it aauntered along through the murk and brambles of Devansati Swamp. It had a purpose, a mission, but it was easier blended in it's true form, which it held behind a deep facade of hate and greed. It's master had sent it. Good master who Always told Persepha the good and right. Marcyus was a good master, a powerful master. Persepha was allowed privialges. It was allowed to feed on the younge mindless beings that came too close. Needless to say, if game got too ahrd, he could become one of them, and just friendly them into their death. Persepha was intelligent, beyond it's form. she was a creature of change, a shifty menace . But when it wanted, it could be persuasive...ever so sweetly persuasive. When it wasnted something, it would talk it's sweet way into their purse. Persepha was intelligwnt indeed.

Mud sloshed up it's legs over it's leather-like skin. It walked nude, it's mishappen body casting an odd shadow through the reeds and cat tails. Off in the night, something squealed, as if being eaten alive, it's poor tender throat being ripped out by the tasteful maw of it's aggressor. The raucous sound brought a gleeful smile to it's face, one that spoke ages of hatred and death lust. It fueled it's taught body as well. The Creature took from the living all that it gave. Life, laughter, sadness and especialy Love. It roamed the darkness looking for unexpecting victims. Persepha was not necessarily a creature of the night, but it was much less draining for it in it's true form. A form that slithered through the tangles of swamp grass and high growing weeds. It was not far from the southern end of the swamp. Here it would meet the Great Road and then it would follow to Ornium and cut across the Grasslands and into The forbidden forest and be that much closer to Ombra Di Notta.

It's legs carried it a great distance that night. All the way to the edge. It had spent about five days out of Croglin so far. The Scaleywags were a strange civilization, but It fit in there. From Devansati, It headed south on the Great Road, just as it had planned. It found a few travelers and ate them, and their essence, taking nuroushiment even from their screams. Making it's way through the Ornium grasslands, it once again found the Great Road and followed it all the way to the Vlllage of Sheba. Here is stopped. There were only a couple of days until it ould finaly be in the city that it was heading to. Then it would help the wolves gain control and prepare for the coming of the Master. After a solid three weeks though, it was tired and Sheba had many a dark alley way to sleep in. But Persepha wanted warmth. On the edge of the town that sat most closely to Ombra di Notta is chose a barn. It could smell the rank odor of the horses and decomposing hay. It didn't care though.

It stumbled through the darkness, finding it's way to the loft, where it lay to rest in the hay. It dreamed mindless dreams of destruction that threatened to awaken it with each degree worse they got. It did not stirr though. The night passed without much eventfulness. It must have been some time early in the morning, that Persepha was woken by the startled scream of a child. It's snake-like eyes flew open and it sat up with the comical gesture of the ancient Dracula. It caught the decending face of the chilkd with it's keen eye and rushed it. It made it to the edge of the loft in a second and then down the side of the wall face first, it's feet and hands sticking in some uncanny way to the side of the thick hand hewn boards. Thrashing out just as the child met the bottom, it grabbed it and flung it up over it's head. The loud thump of the body resonated through the building, causing the horses to whicker with excited fright. Contorting with accuracy, it twisted to face back up the ladder the child had maaged to scale and headed back up. This was a fun game for Persepha. SLinking to the top of the ladder it peered over the edge, eyeing the heavily panting form of the pre-pubecent boy. With the knowledge of humans it had, Persepha guessed the child to be about 11, mayhap younger. He would be a good meal anyways, better than those feisty six year olds. The creature scaled the ladder easily and crawled cat-like toward the boy. His breath rasped from his blueing lips.

"My Chiiild..." It spoke with succour and sweetness. He had broken the boys neck and he was now dying from his air pipe being kinked off. Basically being suffocated by his own spine. the Boys frightened eyes flew to Persepha though. The creature breathed in the fear and was refreshed. He would spare this one too much pain though. For the child was a beautiful one. After, he would drop him off the loft and make it look like an accident. It would work. Bending to the boy, She pressed her lips to his, and began to inhale.

The boys life slowly drained through his mouth and into Persepha, who paled as it ate. It was not your usual eating this time though, he craved the soul. It detached unwillingly from the boys insides and tore through his body and into Persepha. When it was finished, it did drop the boy over the edge. He hit and tumbled, his neck kinking around and twisting viciously. Persepha grinned and looked for a way out.

It found it's way through the top of the barn, then climbed down the back, and into the wheat field beyond. Screams followed it, letting him know that the family had found their lovely and the mourning would begin. It liked it and was fed even now by the energy. It was a creature of energy and matter combined. A creature of great power, who as it died, strengthened. It was not known if it could even die, but it did have it's weaknesses. It had tender flesh. It skipped through the wheat happily though and to the tree line. In took a little while but it soon made it. In the bright morning light, it's eyes caught the first glimpse of Ombra Di Notta. It had a day to get there. From the distance, it looked to probably only take that long. Giving a gleeful yelp, it hopped up on the stone wall and over the other side, running toward the city. It's Master would be so Proud!

ooc- after a small absence, I managed to finish this bit of the story. hope you like it.

The day passed without interference, the sun lazily casting from one side of the sky to the other where it began to decend to it's nightly grave, much like a vampire. Mayhap the sun feared the moon, or was it the other way around? Persepha's legs did not ache though it walked a good thirty miles in half a day, it ran a good portion of the distance as well, but it's meal had helped it to gain the strength for such strenuous excercise. It was a average size creature, much the size of a human. It stood just below six feet, and had no hair on it's char colored body. There was no evidence of it's sex, as it was neither. It was merely Marcyus' creation, a being to go where he could not, as Marcyus would be noticed, the Dark Wizard's energy would be noticed much more than a mere extension of it's power.

It was not long before dark that Persepha reached the outer edges of the city. Seven or eight large clumps of buildings stood like gaurdians about the front of the castle. The were seperated by great flat fields that seperated each. in some of the fields there were cattle others there was vegetation. They were obviously farms. Persepha did not go to these though, it instead made way for the corner of the castle wall. The creature could see a group of gaurds standing watch outside the gate, the heavy slabs open and inviting to the odd crowd that was so attracted to Ombra Di Notta. It knew that It would not get in at it's current stage, the gaurds would never let a creature like itself through the gates. Stopping in the high grass, it crouched, thinking to itself what it should do. it was smart it would figure out something. It's brain flew over the many options, it could become one of them, but that made no sense for it to come from outside the gates. That would strike confusion and thus suspicion. Instead it sat on the ground, pulling it's legs up into it's lap. Taking a deep breath Persepha closed it's eyes....

A low ruffleing breeze passed over the wheat, making the heads bend and sway into golden ocean. The evening seemed to darken, but it was not payed any heed, as Rains were due. The area about the creature chilled, the grass in it's midst becoming limp and falling to the ground in a yellow circle about it. it's eyes fluttered up into it's head beneath it's closed eye lids. A trembling became first aparent in it's lips, and moving over the rest of it's body, from the top of it's head to it's toes. It took little time, but the color of it's skin began to shift, from char to a creamy white. Hair sprouted at an alarming speed from it's skull, arms, and pubic region, all of a mahogany color. It's face began to conjunct slightly, taking on a more rounded soft face that could have been called pretty. From it's paling chest breasts grew, forming what promised to be a womans. It's legs lengthened and the rest of it's body formed accordingly to it's new existence. It took less than a minute and soon a younge looking female sat nude on the now decaying grass. Last, she opened her eyes, which changed once they touched the air, from black to pale grey. A smile played over her lips, her fingers running over her new body. It looked much like the child it had killed earlier, as it's energy was what Persepha used at the moment. Standing nimbly from the browned grass and earth, it stretched it's arms and legs, then stepped off through the grass toward the gates of the city. Persepha did not bother to find any sort of clothing before She went to the gates, Nudity was not exactly looked at as lewd either. The gaurds saw her through the half-light of dusk and then to each other they looked. It was not unusual to see a nude person, but it was not that often either. If grins could be made by werewolves, they did. they in fact enjoyed the shape of a woman, though the did not have relations with them. Putting a smile on her face, she strutted up to the gate, and made like she was going to walk through, but the quick hands of the gaurds brought down their spike-tipped poles and crossed her way. Her eyes rolled up into her head in lusty enjoyment. She could feel the energy they put out, it was good. She ravenously sucked it up. It was Better when there was more than one donor. She was pulled away from her feast though by the deep growling voice of what she presumed was their higher up.

"State your buisness, your name and your kind." He said, trying to not sound menacing, but doing a bad job. Persepha grinned and pressed her exposed breasts to the metal of their weapons. She couldn't help it, it made their reactions more and more edible. Tilting her head to face him, her hair fell about her face prettily, her eyes lifting to the were-gaurds face.

"Persssssepha..." She Murmured breathily. "I come to find my ssssssisster. I am nymph." She lied next, but was convincing all the same. She held a care-free look to her face, but her eyes pulled in the gaurd more, She could feel how his mind ran, by the energy that came from him. he would come to her later, and she would have his life, maybe, or at leaste most of his energy. The Gaurd grinned and lifted his spear, nodding his head.

"If you get lost, there is lodging at the Silver Steed." The gaurd offered, as she stood waiting for the other gaurd to lift his own weapon from her path. She nodded to him with a deathly smile and walked on. It was semi early yet, and vendors still had their wares about the street. Persepha watched the exchange of money from one hand to the other and understood that very well. People walked about dressed, and she figured she should probably follow ritual. Reaching up into her hair she pulled out several strands. Taking a route down a alley way, she stood and wrapped each of the strands into little bundles, and held them in her closed palm. CLosing her eyes she forced upon them change. they were part of her and could change accordingly to what she wanted it to be. Before a minute could pass, she felt the edges of the coins growing in her palm, taking space and forming to the currency. The magick would last at leaste a day and then would return to hair balls. Returning back to the Square, she eyed several shops and vendors before finaly making her choice. It was a darker shop, lit low. She could see the fine linens through the window, but not very well. It was nice and dark and that was what Persepha liked.

The little bell clanged as the door opened, the figure stepping through into the Patchuli scented shop. Manikins sat here and there, draped in the velvety and silk garmets. She saw nothing she liked immediately, but continued through the decent sized shop. Someone was playing a sweet tune from somewhere in the back, it sounded like a wind instrument, but it was not the tropical sound of a flute. Persepha ate from their energy as well. it came in great waves, resonating with the music, giving and taking at certian notes. Persepha pushed a little bit, feeling powerful and the instrument slipped and stopped. Whoever it was had messed up from loss of so much energy. She grinned to herself and continued through. She found something she liked soon though. It was a sleeveless dress type garmet, that came in two pieces, Persepha was not familier with clothing, so she had the woman help her into them. The ensemble was in fact adeep-purple brocade bustier and gown skirt, which flowed about her legs tantalizingly. She bought black leather shoes as well that came to mid calve and paid the woman in her magickal money. Fully dressed and refreshed, Persepha headed for the Silver Steed.

Her new boot heels clicked lightly on the cobblestone. The were made of willow wood and stained black to match the thick leather of the rest of the shoe. She arrived in a little time to the tavern, the smell of cigarettes and alcohol wafting all the way out into the street, Mingled with that was the scent of blood and the smell of fried food. Stepping to the heavy double doors, she pulled them open and stepped through into the heavily laden bar room. Men and women alike sat about, some Laughing, some passed out, all with mugs in front of them that were at various stages of fullness. Two beings caught her attention particular. A woman at the bar and a wereguard that didn't look much like the rest. It was a familier creature, but she couldn't figure where from. She paid it no heed though and moved to the Lodging clerk, who sat behind a desk like portion of bar, just below the staircase. She smiled at the older man who sat there, his bifocles held together with odd bits of this and that. She grinned at him, and he googled her curvacious form. Bending against the desk, she allowed him a glimpse of her well formed chest, putting a slender finger to her lips. She was a lovely creature, but mayhap not as lovely as some of the prostitues that ran the Majority of the Silver Steed.

"I would like to book a room for the night." She spoke, she had luckily made a few more coins on her way to the tavern. Her speaking had gotten a little better as well.

"What Class room?" He asked, swallowing hard. She knew that swallowing wasn't the only thing getting hard either.

"Why first of courssse." She said with a grin and then laid the coins on the desk in front of him. it was more than enough. "Keep it all, as long as you tell anyone that comes looking for Perssepha, what room I am in." She said, lifting her eye brow a little to give the exact expression necessary. The elderly man grinned and nodded.

"That will be room A 5. If you can't find it, One of the girls will help you." Lifting a hand, he motioned up the stairs, which she turned to and began to climb.

It was not too hard to find her room, which turned out to be rather extravagent. the walls were plastered in a dark violet color that somewhat resembled her dress. She grinned happily as it had no windows, pitch darkness would be wonderful. She turned the knob on the wall, the lights gaining potentcy as it moved. At no more than a hazy dullness, she was happy. Candles sat about, which she lit a few of with the box of matches that she found as well. She wanted to make such a feast special, it was a treat you could say. Night came into circulation at last and not too long after total darkness, she heard a knock on the door.

Having been sitting in the midst of the mountain of fluffy blankets that composed the bed, she rose, moving to the door. Taking hold of the knob, she pulled the door open, the metal shapes of the constellations that had been crafted into the outside of the door, catching the glimmer of the candlelight. The Gaurd stood there, looking somewhat uncomfortable. But she smiled and reached out, pulling him in. His energy fed Persepha almost immediately. His rare excitement over what he thought was to happen. She drank it with glee.

"you dressed." it murmured, sounding a little disappointed. But Persepha was already exiting her clothing. The Were-gaurds excitement grew even more and fed her still, with each bit of energy she was given, the more power she took in, and the more powerful she was. She stood before him soon, as nude as a new-born and seemingly as vulnerable. She stepped to him without speaking and pulled his arms around her. The room began to spin as the energy became even more nourishing. Her journey had been long, and Persepha needed sustenance. The Were gaurd pulled her form to him, touching her soft skin with his paw like hand. Persepha did not know the difference in the sexs as she had no sex until she changed, and that was an oddity to her. Her forms came with nuances, but she was usualy able to keep them under control. The soft wet tongue of the creature began to cover her neck and shoulders with sensual strokes. The feelings that poured from the creature were intoxicating. They shuffled across the floor, where Persepha climbed on the bed. The gaurd pulled his armour free and climbed on as well. Laying on it's Back, Persepha came to it's side, running her slender fingers through it's hair, much like the petting of a dog. CLimbing to sit atop the creature, she took her chance. Pinning it's arms with musled thighs, she played a little game with the creature, holding it down, dominating it, it allowed her after she kissed it's maw tenderly. Laying her hands upon it's chest, she bade it to close it's eyes with her mind. it could not help it and finaly did. She had a good control over it by now, it was her way, taking their energy and binding it to her, she wished to eat it's soul. She ran her fingers through it's hair a little more, to drive it deeper into the beliefe that she was actualy going to be intimate with it, but stopped just above it's heart, bringing her two hands together. It's eyes flew open immediately, feeling the beginning of the drawing. It tried to fight against her, but it had basically lost control at that point, had she left it alone, it would have regained it's strength, and returned to the living world with little memory of the evening than her nude body and so candle-lit kisses. Her hands pulled harder and harder, it's life energy running up her arms, through her veins and into her body, feeding her need. Persepha lulled her head back, her eyes rolling in unattractive directions. She was interrupted though, something crashing into the wall above the bed in which they sat. She jumped a little, losing her hold on his soul, which returned to where it belonged and would not be budged. Panting and full, Persepha stood. The Were-gaurd was breathing litely, but still alive. She smiled a little and dressed, refreshed.

Before long she headed out into the night air. Heading up through the city, she made her way to what she guessed was the Lowly part of town. the buildings were rundown and things were scattered over the streets, fires had been left going, with food burning in the pots, the owners drunken and half dead. She looked in a couple to only see a layer of flies over the gruesome mixtures. She continued on though, finaly finding a building that looked suitable. it was obviously empty. The doors were wide and the walls were twisting. it was perfect. Persepha looked about before heading toward the building, and going inside. After a good bit of searching through the house, she found a crawl space attic. She was lucky enough to find an old pile of material, which she slung herself down in and soon slept.
