Forgotten: No one can escape. A great flash emerged above all of Aronia leaving each with short term memory loss. Years lost to the fog of amnesia. Can no one recall? That appears to be the case. Whom or what is responsible? Panic has stricken the globe. Will civilization collapse? What will emerge from the reset? Only time will tell. To each citizen of Aronia from the Global Gazette, we wish all luck.
Welcome to Aronia. We hope you enjoy your visit.

Victoria pulled her arms free of Gwenefiere roughly, stepping aside to allow some space between them.
"Please do not patronize me," Victoria spoke coldly, her eyes narrowing to Gwenefiere, upper lip tugging at a snarl, "Run along with your tin man, he needs you more than I right now." The sarcasm understood even by a newt. Turning to Sabre, she answered the request.

"Perhaps ordering them all in one place will put not only the kingdom, but the guards as well in jeapordy. We will order them to remain at their current positions. Any wolf other than the designated messenger caught traveling will be imprisoned immediately and tor...questioned. Let us begin checking the guards, the castle being the base point. We will sweep out and around. Your accomplice should help attain any whom we find traitorous." Victoria took Sabre's word for her companion's honor. If she found him trustworthy, then so would she. Victoria waited for Sabre to lead the way, it was primarily her plan. Looking back to Gwen for contest to her actions, lest there be any resistance. The present condition of the guard population was of greater importance.

OOC: Sorry it's so short, I just wanted to catch up w/ everything quickly. Damn it feels good to be back! LOL

OOC: Yay!!!! we are finaly all ready to make this something Grand! We have our Amy and Me on at the same time, Lol!!! That is very unusual...just watch... my comp will break... Lol Let's not worry about that though! ANd let's RP! Glad your back AMy!

Gwenefieres eyes widened at Victoria's words. WHat had gotten into her priestess! She let go of her but did not step back, merely looked to thw woman with a great deal of remorse shadowing her pretty eyes. It was much too unlike the Victoria she had known. Gwenefiere had been gone for so long thought that she could understand some of the displeasure.

"I do not patronize you Victoria, I merely ask of the feelings that you hide behind your eyes." She stepped from the priesttes and looked to Sabre and the stinking beast that had followed her. It's size was much larger than that of their gaurd, which was suprizing. She knew that this creature came form the Dhenn Isles, blood of the highest breed. She wondered why it was here in Endymion. SHe would inquire on that later. She listned to the other two, as the spoke, taking it in and winding it around the wheels in her own head, checking for breaks in the plan that would be fatal to it. She found none though.

"I agree with Victoria. But I think we should do it randomly. WIll will be more apt to find the impersonators if they don't expect us." She looked, in turn, between her two most important allies. There was a great deal in her mind to dwell upon at the moment. She feared both the problem in her relationship with Victoria and the threat of the Fake guards. She felt like an imp running around with it's head chopped off. She returned to her silence though and listened intently to them speak. She was unsure of her position anymore. She did not know what was going to happen, and she was still mortal. It was a big mess, and she seemed to believe she was the cause of it all.

"Gee, girls, thanks for the cover..."

Alain was slightly startled to see that, when he opened his eyes, the thing was right in front of him, stating it's desire. It was then Alain realized - this was the thing that had been asking for direction earlier... the thing that had reached out for a master... now it made sense - the emotionlessness, the cold regard... Alain narrowed his eyes slightly, and lines of blue energy flowed down slits in his armor as a sudden energy radiated from the suit. Honestly he had thought that if he was vulnerable for a minute, sabre - or Gwen, especially - might have covered his back a little... though apparently Gwen and her friend had an issue. So, he looked into the man's eyes, and frowned.

"I don't really give a good god damn, you're going anyway, so you don't pull any more illusion tricks. Or I could put a particle blast through your skull like I wanted to do in the first place. You want to experience having yourself torn apart at a subatomic level?"

He put a hand on the thing's chest and pushed him back a step, then moved away from the wall, shaking his head a moment, but keeping the man in front of him. He had already drawn his pistol, and with the suit shields up, the man wouldn't be able to get him with a surprise attack unless he had a phased vibroblade... which no one in this place did... god why was he even TALKING about nuclear dissassembly to that thing? It may have intelligence... but he wondered how much was voluntary...

"Here's a question. How much autonomy do you actually have? You were requesting orders of me earlier, and I assume of Sabre as well, so obviously you desire or perhaps need a command to function, yet you're operating independently of a control right now, or so I believe. How does this work...?"

He wondered how similar this... golem?... was to an AI back home... man made, built to serve... less human perhaps than an A class AI like Kali, or an S like Arya, but still...

When the hand placed on his chest he was forced back, no real resistance. Had he the mind to he would have frowned. Then the armored one continued to speak, easily audible over the conversation in the other room. He blinked and his mouth opened as if to answer but he stopped. He was not entirely sure how it worked.

"Woman...your...mistress broke us...me. Summoned by sorcerer to destroy other users of magic, those who learned in this city. Woman broke the bonds, tampered with our...my essence." the words were hard to communicate, a need that did not have words to describe it, "Avatar of nothing does not exist. My purpose for being is gone, lost we are." He answered as best he could. He glanced over the armored one again, though not even giving a thought to his weaponry nor his armor. Nothing registered about them, as if they were a minute detail.

One thin brow rose as Sabre watched Victoria pull herself from Gwenefiere's embrace rather roughly. She'd never seen the two women act so... mean to each other. Sabre hadn't thought Gwenefiere was patronizing Victoria, but then again, her mind was elsewhere, trying to keep planning so that they were one step ahead of those who would see this beautiful city destroyed.

"Yes, Priestess. I did not think about that..." Looking to the floor, she furrowed her brows in thought. "I'll move out now then, if you wish." Gwenefiere's voice sounded to Sabre's right and she turned to look at the Queen. "Randomly... Yes Majesty, I shall make it so."

With a courteous bow to both women from both Sabre and her companion, whose eyes remained locked on the men as long as they could, Sabre made her way back to where she'd come from. Before leaving completely, she spun around, making Norban trip up some. "Perhaps, majesties, you should take a rest or get cleaned up - something that will soothe your minds and souls. I'm sure I can handle the guards. Or if I can't, I can drag along Alain with me to help."

An arrogant, but playful little smirk played on her lips as she turned to face Alain. "Ugh. I almost forgot about that. What should we do about that thing?" Sabre asked, her eyes locked onto the avatar now. Her face scrunched up into a scowl, her nose wrinkled in disgust.
Wash: I think they really captured his essence.
Kaylee: He looks kinda mean.
Wash: That's sorta what I meant.
Simon: This must be what going mad feels like.
Kaylee: Everywhere I go, his eyes keep followin' me...

Victoria felt her facial muscles pull to a scowl when Gwenefiere spoke of hidden emotions. She was only half right. At the moment, Victoria actually felt as if the emotions that usually were worn on her sleeve were the ones hidden and the same shift with her repressed feelings. As if without choice, her attention narrowed in on the voice of the being inside the room. The hoplessness of his words brought a moment of sympathy. But only a moment. Its harsh words reminded Victoria of the creature's treachery. Sabre's mention of resting and bathing suddenly sounded like a wonderful thought. Victoria wanted to join Sabre, unleashing her frustration and anger in a useful way. But a lot of innocent guards would also have felt her fury and Victoria nodded in agreement with Sabre's words.

Closing her eyes, she listened to Sabre speak of the creature. Their shared disgust brought a smile to Victoria's lips and she opened her eyes. The facial expression Sabre gave to the creature brought a reaction to Victoria that she didn't realize left her mouth.
"It does stink, doesn't it?" In a trice, Victoria raised her voice so it was distinguishable, "That heap of excrement of an avatar." Victoria sneered, "Avatar of nothing, he named himself!" Unfortuantely his revelation also suggested that there may be others than the mage who had created this sorry excuse for a manifestation. Victoria also hated the thought that a mage as weak as that could have come from her temple. Surely they were smarter than the other proved to be... It was obvious Victoria needed to spend more time back in the temple. With Gwenefiere's return, it would give her that opportunity. Hopefully the queen would stick around for a while, and with a new toy she most likely would. There were kings before and there would be more after this one. Victoria just didn't like how strong this one was. Gwenefiere usually like to control her men. In her present state, Gwenefiere was in no position for such. The ineffectuality of Victoria's presence is what bothered her so. Victoria waited for the moment, just to see what the queen had in mind for the vermin.

Gwenefiere growled deep within her throat at the expression that the cat like Victoria gave her. Had they been cats, the night would have been filled with the sound of their fighting. But they were not in such a primitive stage and Gwenefiere, turned her head from Victoria in irritation.

"This is an order." Gweneefiere addressed them all very shortly. "Do a random check on the gaurds, Sabre. Make sure the Avatar gets to the prison. I want him on the LOWER level, so he may truely express his abilities on the other creatures. He may now be an Avatar of Nothing , But Everything has a future, and he is not lacking of such." She pointed each comment accordingly, and then turned and strode down the hallway without a word. She did not need any of it. She felt like going and actualy testing her mortality. Her human form's emotions overcame her fragile mind and tears soon flowed over her rosey cheeks. Her feet carried her to the stairs and down them as well. She was sick of the anger and the hatefulness. WHat had she done to deserve such things from one as close to her as Victoria. Her best friend, Her spiritual partner. And so much more. Victoria was a necessary part of her life, so to preserve what was teft of their relationship, she had left. Retreating to her office, she had passd Shale on the way. She glared at him from under heavy lashes, and kept going. Once inside, she collapsed on her sofa, thinking of her problem with her priestess. Something had happened to her. Rolling over, the Queen sighed and closed her eyes falling fast asleep.

Alain shook his head slightly, then put his hand to his head, letting the power levels on the armor drop.

"Identity diffusion... sounds like Gwen's anti energy barrier destroyed whatever spell was binding him to his purpose. Well, Avatar, tell you what. Doesn't seem like any of us are going to give you a purpose. Better work on getting one."

He looked over at Sabre and shook his head slightly

"What can you do? Anyways, looks like he lives for now. But sure, once Shale gets this guy I'll back you up. Got enough power left for that, at least... going to have to power it down around nightfall, though. Don't want to push the power cells unless I have to. Where the hell is that old man?"

He was about to turn and ask Gwen if it was possible they were further from the dungeon than he thought, when he caught the silent exchange between Gwen and Victoria. He watched gwen go, his eyes failing to catch hers, lowered as they were, but he knew the meaning more than well enough...

"You total bitch..."

His eyes had locked on victoria now, and he stepped towards her, fist clenched.

"What's the matter with you? She was counting on you, she needs you, and you just shut her down!? I thought you were supposed to be her best friend!? You're acting like some spoiled little... this is NOT how you used to be!"

He was angry now, but when those words left his mouth he stopped, and shook his head slightly. Where did THAT come from...? Did I read her...? No, her mind is too closed with anger... but then how would I ever know... Alain turned from her, putting an armored hand to his head befor ehe spoke again.

"She doesn't deserve how you're treating her... I can't help her, you're the only one that can. Don't ask me how I know. You just have to -"

Shale's voice came down the corridor.

"Kid, we get the picture."

The half-dragon walked arond the corner then, and shook his head.

"Ought to be more respectful. Hello Priestess, Sabre. And this must be the thing you told me about, kid?"

Alain just nodded slightly, still numb from trying to figure out why those words had popped into his head. He'd never met the woman... had he?

Shale walked over to the Avatar, towering even over him, taller than Alain, actually, and he pulled his lips back over his fangs, touching a claw to his neck.

"You're to come with me, then."

He motioned for the prisoner to follow, keeping a close eye.

Gwenefiere's growl had intimidated Victoria not. That's not to say it was a threat, but Victoria took it as such. After repeating the orders to Sabre and walking off, Victoria watched Gwenefiere leave, alone. Victoria looked at Alain with the same utter disgust at any point, if not more so. Atleast he wasn't barking orders, just offering to help. Had he done that, then there would have been a problem. For now he was tolerable. Opening her mouth to speak, she only started her snide remark,
"Shouldn't you be foll..." The next three words spoken by Alain caused a snap in Victoria. At first, rage, "Who the hell do you think you are? What, are you going to hit me, big man? Come on, I dare you!" Victoria took a step towards him, talking with her hands as well, "What's the matter with me? What's the matter with you? Following her around like some dog! That's right, she is MY best friend. And what's worse, is all she can think of is your shiny metal ass!" His remark of how she used to be shut her up that very instant.
"How would you know who I was?" Victoria spoke is a quieter, but dripping ever so more with loathing. General Shale's voice caught her attention and silenced her. She did not fear this man, Victoria had a large amount of veneration for him. When greeted, she nodded her head respectfully. Ordering the creature out of the room and single-handedly to the dungeon, Victoria knew Shale could handle this creature alone. If there was something the General had, it was persuasion. She had seen the bravest and strongest beings surrender to his words.

Victoria glanced at Alain once more, knowing he would leave with Sabre.
"If anyone should need to find me, I will be in the temple..." Victoria left the two standing there, and getting ahead of Gen. Shale. All she wanted to do was get back to the temple. She not only needed rest, but to refresh herself. It had been far too long since she had drank from the fountian. Victoria chose not to kill for blood. The blood of other creatures never truly tasted as good as those of other vampires. At this moment, though, the thought of the hunt appealed to Victoria. Awakening a hunger she had repressed for so long...

The moment Alain had aproached Victoria with that built of hostility the avatar had stepped out of the prison behind him. His hands slowly closing into fists as the spheres in his armor slowly lit-up once more. Though once it was evident that no harm was goign to come to Victoria the light quickly died out.

Then there was the larger creature. It's presence seemed to demand notice from the others but to him it was just another thing in his way. He had not budged from his spot when the large half-dragon told him to. Infact he did not move until Victoria announced she was going to the temple. He did not know where this temple was but he did know that this was not a temple. At this point he began to move ahead of the half-dragon. No quick shifty movements, simple calm steps taking him to his next destination.
