Victoria chuckled inwardly at Alain's disence of his cerebral capacity. Her comment either held a little bit of truth, or Alain was insecure about the subject. The revelalation of Nexus true Identity cruched her. It was as if her stomach, had collapsed inwardly on itself. However, the sorrow morphed to rage. In a matter of seconds the room temperature dropped severly. All who breathed could see small white whisps of air leave their mouths. Ice crystals crawled up to window, and all metal objects, slightly frosting over. The creatures look of pity, did not ease her in the slightest. "You lied to me..." She spoke in almost a growl. A low breeze arose suddenly, tossing fine locks of chocolate coloured hair about her slim shoulders. The blue of her irises, slowly gaining a aqua tint. Subconciously, Victoria's hand moved to her abdomen, intesifying her fury. The dream like coupling returned to Victoria's thoughts. She took a step closer to the being. "How dare you?" In truth, Victoria wanted to ask, How could he? She knew though, that the monster cared for nothing but himself, and his own needs. Otherwise he could have never violated her so selfishly. Gwenefiere's return, and the Giant tin cans arrival seemed unimportant at the moment. All attention was on this being. His deciet the foremost matter at hand. |

Gwenefiere shivered as Victoria reset the atmosphere of the room. It had been ages since the Queen had witnessed the wrath of the priestess, who wielded as much power as Gwenefiere herself. She had yet to be filled in on how bad the situation was, though from the temperature of the room, she had a feeling that it may be something a little big for the control of Victoria's mindset. Creatures much weaker than Victoria had brought the castle to the ground, Which Gwenefiere had had to rebuild. SHe listened intently and with growing rage at what was being said. It was true, Victoria had been rud, even disrespectful, which was not like Victoria. Though spoken with perfect grammer, it was not her attitude. What had happened? The smell of dog, caught her nose suddenly. It was do radical to her senses, that it forced her head toward the hallway. Nothing of course, but the smell was still there. She wondered if any of the others had smelled it. She regained focuse on her belived Priestess though and continued to listen, taking only a glance over to Alain. I need be they could always take the creature to the prison, even the lower levels, but she did not want him killed, In fact, Gwen had a feeling he would be more useful than that. She did not interrupt Voctoria though, lest be taken by the great storm that brewed within the woman. OOC: Gah! They get shorter every time. It will ge tbetter I promise. Sabre will be returning to us in the next couple of posts. She did a fantastic Job on the Oourze! Give her a hand guys! *claps* |

Alain looked back at her - her inward chuckle was as audible just then as it would have been if she had laughed out loud. "Laugh it up, Priestess..." Almost simultaneously, a thought knifed into her brain. For now, you'd best deal with your 'honored guest' He shook his head and holstered the pistol, which automatically safed, though it was on standby, and would remain charged should he draw it again quickly. That done, he stepped back beside Gwen, though the bulk of the armor blocked the door still, and he closed his eyes a moment. Just when he was starting to think things around here might make a little sense, odd though they were, this bullshit comes and throws itself all over... He looked over at Gwen a moment as the temperature dropped, but it didnt bother him behind the armor. "I take it every day isn't quite this.... eventful? Otherwise you'd live a life that goes much beyond interesting..." He smiled slightly, then looked back to the two in the center of the room, tiring of this whole thing already. Apparently he was the only one that sensed the thing manipulating victoria - and it hadn't been this creature before them. Why didn't any of these creatures of magic feel what he could about all of it...? Maybe they had and just hadnt said anything...? Didnt make sense... |

The temperature shift didn't bother him. His eyes narrowed at Victoria. There was something wrong here, this was not the same easily manipulated woman he had taken advantage of. Come to think of it such a thing no longer appealed as a intelligent idea. Without purpose he wasn't near as strong as he had been as an avatar. No, now he was simply something from the depths of the outer realms. His eyes glowed lightly and he glanced at the armored one. That creature was carrying an item of power, as was the queen, the queen's was far superior, or atleast it felt as such. A plan began to develope but was forgotten when realising the task of taking such items would not be easy. His armor may keep him safe from most magics and from his mind being probed but he was unsure how long it would last against these three. He looked back to Victoria and narrowed his eyes. He had nothing to say to her, he had used her and her purpose had failed, "You are useless to me now." he stated, either ignorant of the threat Victoria presented or not the least worried. He readied himself though, knowing that such a statement would only yield an attack from her. Or atleast that was what he was hoping on. If she reacted violently then perhaps the others would take her away if not for her own safety. He felt cold again, void of those previous feelings as if they were slowly being drained away. He was becoming the cold machine again. His hands closed into fists deciding that this could not happen. This problem would be handled later, after this current one is dealt with. |

A wereguard appeared at the far end of the hallway, approaching the group at a full boar run. Two forms traveled behind him, one another werewolf - though this one was armored - and the other, a small - at least in comparison to the wolves - dark woman. The wereguard snarled. The woman snarled back and the wereguard eased his speed, letting the woman and armored wolf pass him. Norban growled. He didn't like the smell of the males in the room. One, perhaps the bigger one with the huge, odd armor, reeked of magic and just.. unnaturalness. The other just smelled of bad magic - nothing new from where he came from. When the dark woman stopped, so did he. He hovered behind her some, almost like a protector of sorts, sending a look that plainly said 'Don't touch her' to all of those in the hall who dared make eye contact with him. Sabre sucked in a huge breath as soon as she stopped at the edge of the quartet. She smiled inwardly to see Victoria up and well, but her eyes flashed dangerously at the comment the creature made at the priestess. Her eyes widened as she realized who and what this creature was. "Why isn't he in the dungeons?" she growled, keeping her glare focused on him. She wasn't in the same form as she had been in the last time she'd faced this creature, but her magic was the same, so she figured he'd be able to tell who she was. He reeked of magic, after all, and even if he hadn't had the same form, she'd know him. "Majesty, I need to speak with you in private, but that can wait a few moments until this thing is either put back in its cell or put out of its misery." OOC: Hi y'all! I'm here finally! Woo! * does a little dance before waving and scurrying off to get ready for schooooooooooooooool* ;P |

Victoria noticed how everyone had positioned themselves. Alain near Gwenefiere and Sabre's entrance. Mathius's dismissle of her, would have enticed her wrath, but Victoria just grinned malignantly. "You fool, it is you who is no longer of any use." Victoria turned on her heels and stepped toward the doorwya to leave, pausing briefly. "SHould my word hold any sway, euthenize the mangy animal." Victoria moved gracefuly from the room glaring ALain up and down, disgusted. Once free of the room she leaned against the outer wall, still listeing to the conversation within. The cold seemed to follow behind. Victoria began to question her, kinship with Gwenefiere, it was as if she had been replaced. she almost despised Alain, even though he had only bruised her ego. He had treated her like as if she were inferior. A lesser being than him, and he truely knew nothing about her. As if it hadn't been enough that she had been defiled by that loathsome creature, Now she felt she may be losing her mother, sister, goddess, Her best friend. |

Gwenefiere watched as Victoria exited. She felt the tension and saw the eyes that the woman pointed at Alain. SHe had a bad feeling that Victoria was losing it. She looked to Sabre and then to the creature in the room. "No, He will not be killed. We need him, I just don't know what it is that we need him for though..." SHe squez her eyes tightly shut and rapped hr hand against her head, feeling around for an answer. She found none though and reopened her hazy blues. "He needs to go to the Prison...there's no way around it, unless he will cooporate." SHe gently touched Alain's arm and then stepped to Sabre, and guided the woman from the door, eyeing the larger Werecreature that was in their midst. She nodded to the one that was an obvious gaurd of hers, and gestured him to her. "Take the being to Shale, Tell him to put the being on the lower levels." She smiled and the creature nodded, speaking in their odd tongue to a couple others, one of which took off down the hallway. A small group of them had arrived only moments before Sabre, but they had not mentioned anything or sounded urgent in the way Sabre did. She could not let this with Victoria go though, so she moved now to her priestess, taking her gently by the arms. "WHat is it that ails you Vic? WHat's wrong?" Gwenefiere met the woman's eyes, studing her. She did not know what to expect from her beloved sister of souls. "DO not anger yourself where it is not necessary." She looked over to Sabre, hoping she would join their small clique for a moment, to discuss girly matters. As Gwenefiere would have Victoria hear everything that Sabre had to say. The priestess ruled this city as much as the queen herself. |

Alain raised an eyebrow. "Will vaporized do? Might hurt, though I've always assumed being converted to plasma was painless enough... Because I can always -" He had reached back and put a hand on his rifle, but Gwen's order to leave him alive had cut him off, and he let his hand drop again from the weapon. "Ok, nevermind." Pity, he would have liked to put a particle blast in the center of the malignant being's chest... Alain smiled slightly as Sabre came in with her prisoner, and he nodded to her. Seemed she had been busy as of late as well. His azure eyes narrowed for a moment as victoria looked him over. He was about two seconds from getting very angry about this whole thing - who the hell did she think she was? Just because he was human... Gwen pulled her away, though, apparently to talk to Sabre, and Alain stepped back, leaning against the wall across from the cell. His suit would have picked up their conversation, but he didn't listen in. No point in eavesdropping... he wondered idly if one guard would be enough to take this man down to Shale... he closed his eyes a moment. Hey, old man. Kid? What do you want? Prisoner headed your way, the bad sort. Define 'bad' for me. 'I don't think one wereguard is going to be enough to handle him' bad. Ah. I'll meet them en route. All I ask. Good. Farewell. Later. His eyes opened slowly, feeling a little disoriented as he always did when he communicated over distance like that - he certainly wasn't accustomed to it... it had worked, though, and the feeling passed quickly. |

Without a purpose driving him the powers the suite gave were limited. Then again avatars were not supposed to think, nor act on their own, and he had been doing all of that so far. The thought of being somewhere other than this castle caused him to tense. Feeling as if he needed to be here still. He was not sure where this Shale place was. He could ask but his question was likely to be met with hostile retorts. It was when Alain closed his eyes that he could act. His motion one smooth, quick, soundless aproach. Then he was a few mere inches from Alain, though obviously he could have done more harm than simple movement. "I would prefer to remain in this cell." he stated, knowing his preferences were of little concern but he was making sure atleast one of them knew he wasn't powerless just yet. There was something wrong with the metal covered one for the brief second of his aproach. Though perhaps this shale prison would be a good place to rest. As long as it did not have any anti-magic fields. |

Her violet eyes moved to the form of Gwenefiere and she nodded silently. So the being would get a few more hours of life. He was lucky. Motioning to Norban, the pair moved over to the curtain behind which Gwenefiere and the Priestess had wandered. She stopped then and smiled slightly to Victoria. "I'm very sorry Priestess, if I offended you. I bring horrible news, bloody news, and wasn't sure how well you were feeling or if you were up to hearing this kind of stuff. As you may tell, I've been running around a bit, gleaning information where ever I could." She bowed her head to Victoria before turning her head to face the Queen. "Majesty, if you will allow it, I'd like to round up all of the guards in the city. ALL of them." Her eyes flashed, her anger from the knowledge that all over the city the military had been infiltrated and was infected with who knew how many spies. "I've reason to believe some of them are not truly your wereguards. There are bigger fish to fry beyond that, but I think we need to work on this problem one step at a time." She quieted so that the Queen could speak, knowing she would talk to her Priestess first. The two women were like sisters - they looked out for each other before anything else and she understood that. Crossing her arms over her chest, she waited patiently, a solemn expression on her ebony face. Behind her, Norban growled slightly below his breath as he watched the two men interacting. Would the armored thing let the bad magic creature do as he wished, and thus, disobey the woman who Sabre called boss? If he thought about it, Norban would have to intervene. He couldn't disobey Sabre. Or Sabre's boss. Sabre grinned. He had been so easy to charm. He was quite bright, but the charm spell the others had put on him had clouded his mind, making him seem quite dumb. This had made his mind more susceptible to other spells, thus allowing her spell to take effect quickly and effortlessly. Her spell was more powerful, however, and allowed him the ability to use his mind to its fullest extent. What use was he to her if he couldn't use his mind, anyways? She preferred people around her to be intelligent. It made for better conversation, better friendships and better rivalries. |
