Immediately after the prisoner had been contained, a guard rushed off to the temple to find the priestess, as the queen had been missing for quite some time. Many of the guards belived her to be dead, others that she was on some trist. Either way, not many had any faith upon her return. Approaching the temple, the guard saw the priestess standing in the doorway. "High Priestess," The guard spoke when he reached her, "We have a prisoner. Murder. You are needed." The speech may have been simple, but it got the point across. The guard then began to lead the priestess back to the jail. First Previous 2-14 of 14 Next Last Delete Replies Reply Recommend Delete Message 2 of 14 in Discussion From: High_Priestess_Victoria Sent: 11/2/2005 3:56 PM Victoria watched as the guard approached her hurredly. Taking a few steps, she met him. As he spoke, she looked down the street in direction of the jail. Nodding, Victoria followed the guard to the jail. All of the time spent in the kingdom and she had rarely visited this building. Walking down the foriegn corridors, the guard led her to the containment facility. A guard in the office handed Victoria a paper stating where he was apprehended and for which reasons. Reading through, Victoria noticed some discrepancies. "This person has been arrested without cause. He was found outside of the city walls, therefore the murder charges hold no ground. This prisoner, murder he may be, is free to leave. " Victoria was a bit disgruntled to have the murderer within the city now. The guards made a large mistake this time, however they were not infalliable. Looking around a small control panel, Victoria found the switch to the corresponding cell and opened the door. Standing in the recieving area, she waited to apologize to the prisoner. Reply Recommend Delete Message 3 of 14 in Discussion From: akuma4486 Sent: 11/5/2005 10:57 AM When the wall, or was it a barrier, was moved he stepped out and was lead to another room where some woman was waiting for him. He shifted a bit on his feet when he finally came to a stop, left to right, then back again. He stared upon the female, blankly. No words said, no emotion presented but he did continue to sway ever so slightly, from one side to the other. __________________________________ Recommend Delete Message 4 of 14 in Discussion From: High_Priestess_Victoria Sent: 11/5/2005 10:32 PM Watching the being approach, Victoria thought of how to apologize without being asked for compensation. He was a murderer and for the guards to make such a mistake, it had to have been a violent crime. The report could not describe what the guards had seen, their vocabulary as limited as it was. Knowing she was safe with the guards beside her and own skills, Victoria still had a small waiver of doubt. His silence and mannerisms made her uncomforatable. Standing tall and confident, Victoria gave her sympathies. " I am High Priestess Victoria, care taker of Ombra Di Notta.I am very sorry that you have been unlawfuly apprehended. Being out side of the city walls, any crime you have committed would not be reason for the guards to arrest you." Victoria knew she had to not offend nor threaten this being. The last thing she wanted to begin was any physical confrontation with this person. It was bad public relations as well. In this time of instability, as the trend seemed to be recently with the dissapearance of the queen and her own extended slumber. "You are free to leave. The guards will not bother you as you exit the city as long as the laws are obeyed on your part as well. I am sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused you. You have my apologies." Victoria opened the door behind her by pressing a series of small squares of stone in which pictures were inscribed. Stepping aside, Victoria waited for the being to leave. Reply Recommend Delete Message 5 of 14 in Discussion From: akuma4486 Sent: 11/6/2005 11:19 AM The former prisoner stood in silence for a moment. In truth it had little comprehension of what she was saying and even less care for any of it. He took a step towards the exit only to pause and looked towards the woman. Calmly he now spoke, a voice belonging to something not longed for this realm, it sounded as if it were somehow being altered even as he spoke, an almost unheard waver in a demonic tone. "Mages....where?" __________________________________ Yahoo! Mail - PC Magazine Editors' Choice 2005 http://mail.yahoo.com Reply Recommend Delete Message 6 of 14 in Discussion From: High_Priestess_Victoria Sent: 11/6/2005 11:35 AM The beings question immediately brought a twinge of fear for the young mages who resided inside the temple with Victoria as their guide. She was not a master with the art, but she had the knowledge of the ancient teachings, the core of every different craft. All who sought her knowlege and training, Victoria felt a sense of responsibility for their safety. This being, a murdrer, would not threaten them. Victoria would make sure of such. "Why do you seek them?" His reply would be more than just his words, but his reactions as well. Perhaps the murder was self defense, but Victoria highly doubted it. The guards were trained well, she and the queen had seen to it since. the beginning. Reply Recommend Delete Message 7 of 14 in Discussion From: akuma4486 Sent: 11/6/2005 7:15 PM It seemed he was struggling with understanding for he stared at her, more directly to her lips as she spoke and stood in silence for a moment afterwords, "Revenge...." the word came harshly and was drawn out, "Meaning....exist..." it was as if the common tongue was hard for it to speak yet it made no attempts to speak any other. __________________________________ Yahoo! Mail - PC Magazine Editors' Choice 2005 http://mail.yahoo.com Reply Recommend Delete Message 8 of 14 in Discussion From: High_Priestess_Victoria Sent: 11/6/2005 8:28 PM Victoria's fear had been realized. He did intend to harm them. Not understanding his latter statement, the word revenge made it perfectly clear what his intentions were. Especially the tone in which he spoke. Every muscle in Victoria's body tensed. "If you harm anyone, mage or not, you will be contained, this time without release until you are tried." She did not want the being to come in contact with anybody. "The closest thing you will come to a mage within these city walls is to myself." Reply Recommend Delete Message 9 of 14 in Discussion From: akuma4486 Sent: 11/15/2005 11:37 PM He looked at her with un-understanding eyes. The look of a confused animal was the closest thing to the expression he was giving but when he heard the faint connection of the mages to her his eyes widened and he seemed flushed with anger. His body tencing as the aqua-marine eyes scattered amongst his armor and his own eyes swirled. Energy crackled off of him, raw mana extending forth and snapping around him. His fist drew back and then forward in a haze of movement. Either he was crazy or simply not intelligent for such a situation would often call for sly and stealth plans to proceed with the demise of all mages in this city. Obviously this was no common murderer, insane or otherwise. Reply Recommend Delete Message 10 of 14 in Discussion From: High_Priestess_Victoria Sent: 11/22/2005 3:48 PM The extreme fluctuation of energy immediately registered within Victoria and her defenses rose. "Guards!" She yelled in response, all help was useful. The only skills Victoria held magically were basic, yet strong. Thousands of years of practise would sharpen anybody. Energy was a relatively easy thing to influence if one knew the bits and pieces of its nature. Without knowledge, its use could prove fatal to the wielder. Silently and without as much notice as possible, Victoria called to her own source and was shielded with an invisible force. Again, its nature very simple, yet as old as the energy it was formed from, which was that of existance itself. "Why must you do this?" Victoria atleast wanted to know why someone detested mages so much as to try and harm her. Without the energy to protect her, Victoria was confident in her skills to physically stop this being from harming anybody and prepared mentally and physically to fight as well. Reply Recommend Delete Message 11 of 14 in Discussion From: akuma4486 Sent: 11/22/2005 6:02 PM It glared at the barrier, snarling, her question might have thought to be unheard but it's angry eyes snapped to hers, "Spite, malice, jealousy, rage...mine, essence." His own energy was lashing out, not only keeping the gaurds at bay but keeping them from getting behind him as well. His other fist brought back then forward as he began to mercelessly beat upon the barrier with every ounce of strength he could gather and as his rage grew as his fustration increased he blows fell with more and more force. From: High_Priestess_Victoria Sent: 11/23/2005 2:24 PM Victoria repeated his words in her mind as the beast threw its fists into her protective force. The negative attitude that fueled his actions only strenghthened her energy as she was sorry for this being for being consumed by such hateful feelings. The opposite forces balancing the barrier, as all was in symmetry in nature. The only way the sheild would fall was if he meant her no harm. The more he struck, the stronger it would grow, especially with her own attitude. Victoria sighed, noticing the guards keeping their distance. "Stop this insanity, you may have been created from such but it will destroy you." Victoria knew that if it didn't she would. Yelling to a guard, she kept her eyes on her attacker, "Guards, send for Sabre, now!" Victoria wanted help, as the guards were not useful in her protection. ent: 11/23/2005 2:28 PM Upon their first call for help, the guards could not approach the being that threatened the high priestess, the guards were helpless to her plea. Six gathered as far as they could reach, however it was not close enought. When the priestess called to them again, they could and did act. Two ran immediately, scouring the streets for the girl. Her shop one of the first stops. Reply Recommend Delete Message 14 of 14 in Discussion From: akuma4486 Sent: 11/23/2005 5:10 PM It growled and stepped back, looking over the almost invisible barrier. Searching for weakness only to hurl itself at the barrier again, it growing stronger fueled his anger causing his blows to become more powerful and in return the barrier seemed to get all that much stronger and at this rate a very violent reaction would could ensue from such a rapid growth in untamed energy. |

As soon as the door slammed and locked behind her, Sabre let the full shift take over her body. Her large, bat-like wings erupted from her shoulder blades; her skin returned to its natural ebony color and her hair finished dying itself a deep crimson. The dress she wore now was a long, midnight blue evening gown that sparkled in the light. Around her waist was a silver sash which held her twin blades there at her hips. Pulling the calmer of her two swords out of its sheath, she slashed it down on the air in front of her. A rip appeared there and she quickly leapt through, knowing through years of experience what horrors could slip by if she were too slow and careless. She imagined the royal barracks as she ran forward through this dim, foggy world. Swinging her sword forward again, her silent spell not so silent anymore echoing across the void, she leapt through this second rip. It shut itself seamlessly behind her. Looking up, she opened her bright ruby eyes, which glowed across the room at the back of someone punching in the direction of the High Priestess. The anger inside her began to boil over more and more. Reaching out with her vicious sword, she glared and watched a small bolt of lightning fly at the back of Mathias. It was not meant to harm him, merely get his attention while she charged towards him, both swords held tightly in her hands crackling with their powerful energy. "Get back in your cage, where you belong, dog," she growled at him. |

[SIZE=1] The lightning slammed into his back and crackled around him. He stopped in mid motion and slowly turned his head to glance over his shoulder. A quick glimpse and his decision was made. He spun around and waited for her to get to him. His metal clad hands twitching in anticipation. He would not make the first move, his attention devided between the two females but his eyes were locked on this new arrival as she approached, blades in hands. |

Victoria felt a wave of relief when she saw Sabre enter. Atleast she did not have to defend herself alone. The only weapon she had at her disposal was a dagger she had at her thigh. Keeping the energy barrier strong, Victoria drew her small weapon in defense. She did not advance on the being, his attention now on Sabre could be used to her advantage. Waiting for the next move, Victoria kept silent and ready. |

((OOC: Oh man! I keep starting to post and then completely forgetting to finish! Agh! I WILL finish this time! Heh heh...)) IC: Sabre grinned fiercely at the man as she charged him. Her face showed no signs of her intentions to get out of the way before colliding with him, but as she reached the point where she was a mere three feet from him, her wings flew open and she leapt from the ground, high over the man's head. Twirling 180 degrees to her left, she pointed her sword down at the man, letting it attack him with a wave of electricity so as to keep him on the ground and away from Victoria... and away from her landing spot. As her feet touched down, she let the sword send out its attack for a few seconds more to make sure he didn't try jumping her before she had her balance back on the ground. "Are you okay, M'Lady?" Sabre asked of the priestess, keeping her eyes fixed on the man, measuring how far he was from the cell. Only about ten feet or so, she guessed. Her eyes flickered briefly to one of the wereguards near the controls, making sure he was ready and on the ball. It was no shock to find that his paw was hovering dangerously over the button to lock the cell. The werewolves weren't bookishly intelligent, but when it came to fighting and keeping the Priestess safe, they were true geniuses. |

OOC: Thats okay, I'm still trying to figure out how to make a profile or where to load up the description of my character. Excuse any typos, I'm running low on sleep and with such lack comes such things....yeah I hope that made sense. IC: He watched the woman jump over him and the electricity come lashing down upon him. He blinked and side stepped the first wave yet he simply turned towards where the woman would land as the others hit there mark. His body tenced and the aqua-marine eyes on his armor began to swirl. The electricity being drawn into the orbs. When the attacks finally stopped he slouched and staggered back a step. His shoulders drooped and his gaze went to the woman's wings, her sword, then to her eyes. He grinned, not a mocking grin but an almost pleased one, his eyes still locked with hers. His fist drew back and then went forward. The strength of the blow was enough to pull him with it, the air around his fist seemed to part and expell outward as a defning boom echoed through-out the room. |

Victoria kept a fast eye on the two, watching every movement sharply. The light display was as beautiful as it was intimidating. "I am unharmed," With a look of anger and apprehention she spoke, "He has killed already," quickly informing Sabre. As the being who had attacked her prepared to hit Sabre, Victoria held the dagger away from anyone's body, her fist around the handle and its blade downward behind her. Noticing the guards as well, Victoria thought of a way to help. Preparing for Sabre's body to come her way, Victoria planted her feet and readied her arms. If the creature happened to miss, she would have to make a desperate act so the guards could close the gates and trap the being in again. |

Sabre had to think quick, as this murderer was much faster than she had anticipated. She shouldn't underestimate him, that was for sure. Victoria would not have called for her assistance had this been any mundane murderer. As he came ever closer, she waited, hands wrapped loosely around her swords. She would not kill him, no. He was five feet away now. She dropped her swords and lurched forward, beating her wings to add to her momentum. When she was close enough, she leaned down and pulled her arms out in order to wrap them around the midsection of this man to bring him down to the ground. With him there, the wolves could possibly help her wrangle him down to the ground. |

He blinked even as the woman collided with his midsection it seemed she was being dragged along but his fist jerked back from the attack. A shockwave sent forward as withdrawing from the attack caused the sonic boom to collapse on itself as a hallowpoint was created in it's center. He hit the ground but had plowed the woman over, falling ontop of her and to where the Priestess' feet might have been. He looked up as he began to struggle to his feet, knowing the woman would not let him stand so easily. |

Victoria watched as Sabre lunged at the being, she had had the same idea. She had to admit, the wings certainly added a nice intimidatio effect. Feeling helpless, Victoria searched her mind for answers, wishing she had grabbed some weapon as she left for the Prison in the first place. Such a blind mistake led to a regretful end. Almost instantly after Sabre had forced herself to the being, Victoria was pushed back by an invisible force that however unseen made a clealy audible, almost uncomfortably loud boom. Almost losing her balance, Victoria stagged back a few steps, just nearly tripped by the two falling bodies. Feeling a bit primitive in her actions, Victoria whispered a few words of strength, luck and protection to the energy and leapt at the creature as it began to get up. The dagger pointed downward, Victoria aimed for the middle of his back, her body buzzing with the excitement and anxiety of the battle. Wishing things did not have to come to this, Victoria felt pained to have to inflict harm to the being. However if it was between this beast and either Sabre or Herself, unfortuantely she would have to chose the creature to perish. |
