Forgotten: No one can escape. A great flash emerged above all of Aronia leaving each with short term memory loss. Years lost to the fog of amnesia. Can no one recall? That appears to be the case. Whom or what is responsible? Panic has stricken the globe. Will civilization collapse? What will emerge from the reset? Only time will tell. To each citizen of Aronia from the Global Gazette, we wish all luck.
Welcome to Aronia. We hope you enjoy your visit.

OOC: I was just wondering what was going on here. If the queen and them are gonna visit, we need to wrap this up.

Fear...it was heavy in the air tonight. Drakkus breathed it, inhaled it. The aroma was invigorating. Intoxicating! It lent him strength and gave him confidence. Drakkus turned to look at the tendress as she trembled and whimpered. He could not exactly "see" her per se, but his Inner Eye could sense her presence quite readily. The demonic powers with which he was imbued allowed him to detect life forces in much the same way that a shark could detect blood in the water. Strong emotions only heightened this ability. Especially negative ones like fear, anger, sorrow, etc. Right now Tevy was glowing like a phosphorescent bulb. He moved slowly towards her, his bandaged feet crushing shattered glass underfoot. The shards cut into his heels, but apparently the strange figure took no heed of this pain. Drakkus had no intention of killing her. He had just fed, after all. Best to keep her alive and continue drawing energy from her fear...

Others were approaching. He could see their exact locations simultaneously with his Eye. They had no chance of sneaking up on him unobserved. But they didn't know that. Oh, the naivety of babes! He would use this to his advantage if he could. The voices were getting closer. He could hear them now himself. Coming down the stairs haphazardly. One other was trying to come in from a different route. An assassin. With...what were these? Throwing knives? How quaint. Then came the roar. It was an unmistakable noise. So his hunch had paid off. The dragon WAS here!

And the girl...the tendress. She had just mumbled something amidst her sobbing. "Keene Jada" What did this mean? Drakkus wasn't sure it was even relevant. Not that it mattered. Suddenly he had a knife protruding from the back of his neck, buried up to the hilt. Ordinarily, this would have severed his spinal cord and probably sliced right into the base of his cerebellum. Either that or his windpipe. Drakkus wasn't sure what the exact position was. He felt the pain, of course. He always felt the pain. But he fed on it...drew even more power from it! Ahhh! But he had to play his part. He fell forward with a delayed reaction, mimicking what a normal human probably would have done. He allowed his body to land unceremoniously on the floor next to his mummified victim. He felt the footfalls. The others were here, gathering around the tendress.

Ah...the dragon. Yes, his presence was also among them. But how to approach him? If Kel'Thuzad had been unsuccessful in turning a human paladin, how were they to force a creature as powerful as a dragon to join their cause? Test him. Yes...that was the only option until more information could be garnered. This could be quite amusing...

While the others talked and mulled over the situation---humans were apt to do such things instead of acting---a thin wisp of black smoke emitted from the edges of the wound in the back of Drakkus' neck. It was small enough to go unnoticed by most...and even if it were, its intentions would not be immediately clear. Not that smoke had intentions. But Drakkus controlled the vapor; it would do his bidding. It drifted slowly along the floor...over the broken glass and spilt blood, between the feet of the tendress' would-be rescuers. They were not the target. Gradually, the vapor makes its way into the back room behind the bar. The same room where the two bartendresses had been slaughtered earlier...

Several moments pass...then shuffling and scraping sounds can be heard coming from behind the bar...

(( OOC: There ya go. That should provide some fun. Hehe. ))

Brass could only stand by and watch, it seemed everyone had the situation under control. That was considering two more bodies lay dead beside Tevy. That angered him more. The poor thing had been through enough with the girls. Sighing, he watched Kiri approach the girl. For a moment it was rather appealing; two women, one comforting the other so tenderly. It made for quite the fantasy. Unfortunately, Tevy's tears quickly deflated any more thoughts. He wanted to be the one comforting her but he could only stay aside as the others did just what they were paid to do. It seemed his success was also a hinderance in certain circumstances. His attention was too focused on Tevy to notice the dark fog-like substance. However, his gaze did shift as the sounds from the back room became audible. Narrowing his eyes, Brass watched and closed his fists that still held the brass knuckles. Considering how many had seemed to raid his casino, he didn't expect anything less than more bodies showing up.

(( OOC: It's actually everyone else's turn besides you and me. lol. Someone else can NPC the zombies if they want, but keep in mind that they're recently deceased, so no rotting flesh or protruding bones! Also, these are young innocent girls, both of whom knew and associated with most of your other characters present. Psychological chaos! Muahaha! ))

Tevy’s face, stained with tears, lightened immediately as she sensed Keene Jada enter the room. A small gasp escaped her lips as the body of the man before her fell to the floor in a dead heap and she hopped over to her friend, welcoming his warm, protective embrace. While Tevy was content just being near her protector, the dragon could smell something amiss here still… Sharp eyes picked out the black smoke rising from the back of the corpse, but alas, Keene Jada did not know what it meant.

Seconds later, as scuffling noises were heard from the main room and the stench of death crept closer to their position, he had a good guess as to what the black smoke had meant. The corpses on the ground were too fresh to smell that horrid. Moving one hand from Tevy’s shoulder, the dragon touched Brass on the shoulder, as it seemed he was the only one who’d noticed the noise as of yet.

“Undead,” he whispered to the casino owner. “Let’s move out into the light. Shadows can be quite dangerous when one as powerful as this creep through them,” he added, kicking the dead necromancer more than a little gently in the head.

Grabbing Tevy’s hand, he was careful not to cut himself on her claws, knowing full well just how sharp they were. He had sharpened them himself just three days ago, after all. Tevy longed for no explanation as to why he was leading her out of the shadows, but merely followed obediently, knowing her friend had only her well-being in mind. Her eyes widened and another gasp slipped out of her mouth as soon as they re-entered the main room of the casino. There before her were her two friends, still coated in their own blood, but shuffling towards her nonetheless. One girl still had a broken bottle protruding from her side and neither had any sort of life in their eyes.

Keene Jada pulled Tevy behind him quickly, putting himself between the girl and the two zombies. They were still plenty far away, but he’d still rather be safe than sorry. “Damn,” he hissed. This was going to scar Tevy for sure, and it would probably affect the other casino employees as well, but he had to do what he had to do. Surely they would understand.

Keene Jada would have charged forward in a second were it not for Tevy. Wanting to make sure she stayed safe, he decided to wait until someone was there with her. This pair of zombies would be no problem for a dragon like himself, but who knew what else the necromancer had up his sleeve? For once, Keene Jada was thankful he had some others on his side.

OOC: I was gonna have him charge in and kill 'em, but then I was like "Aww... That'll ruin the fun for everyone else, though." Sooo.... yeah. LoL. Anyways... WooT! I posted! YaY!
Wash: I think they really captured his essence.
Kaylee: He looks kinda mean.
Wash: That's sorta what I meant.
Simon: This must be what going mad feels like.
Kaylee: Everywhere I go, his eyes keep followin' me...

The lifeless bodies of the two waitresses continued to shuffle slowly towards the gathered group of humans---and one disguised dragon. Drakkus, still playing the part of the fallen necromancer, watched it all with his Inner Eye. A smile played on his unseen lips. The emotions flowing from the others were overpowering, particularly from the girl...Tevy, was it? And the dragon! Ohh, the anger! Yes! Drakkus could feel his strength doubling, tripling. Humans were generally a weak species. They had only succeeded in pushing back the Legion's efforts on Azeroth with the aid of their former enemies. That would change soon enough. The Master's forces were growing stronger every passing hour by searching out other realms like this one and then adding them to their ranks. Soon Azeroth would once again face the full wrath of Kil'jaeden. And this time none would stand in their way...

Indeed, there were some exceptions. These humans here were fairly skilled in their own ways. Drakkus could sense something odd about one of them, a...what were they called? Ah, yes. "Bouncers". A strange aura seemed to surround that one. And the dragon, of course. Seething with constrained powers. But the humans (and catgirl) would pose no threat to him. Every blow they dealt to him, be it physical or otherwise, would only increase his strength and power. Only the dragon...this "Keene Jada"...would possibly have enough power to banish him. Temporarily. There was only one way to defeat a Dark Avatar. And even if they knew how, it would be impossible to accomplish. Best to act reasonably weak st---

<Lord Drakkus...>

The voice in his mind distracted Drakkus momentarily. <I am here, Master.>

<You are needed elsewhere. I have sensed a great surge of dark energies coming from the Nexus region on this world.>

<An ally?>

<Perhaps. It is a sorcerer. A hermit meddling with the souls of the damned. Quite powerful in his own sphere.>

<Surely he is no threat to our great Legion?>

For a moment, Drakkus thought he could hear laughter in his head. <No, my Avatar. Hardly. But he could prove to be a useful instrument in the conquest of this realm. The dragon can wait. I want you to find this sorcerer immediately. If you cannot turn him to our cause...destroy him.>

<It will be done, Master.>

And just as soon as it had come, the voice was gone. Well now! This should prove interesting. A dark sorcerer here in Aronia! And in the Nexus region to boot! How they had overlooked this upon arrival in this dimension, Drakkus did not know. Nor did he care to question his superiors. He only knew that he would be foolish to delay in carrying out a direct order from Kel'Thuzad himself. Slowly, almost unnoticeably, Drakkus' body starts to melt into a mass of dark vapors identical to the ones that had animated the deceased tendresses. This concentrated pool of vapors then seems to seep directly into the floor...and Drakkus is gone.

...Only to reappear suddenly behind the entire group, hovering half a foot off the ground! He laughs wickedly, "Heheh...I see you've met my playmates! Lovely things, aren't they? Oh..." He turns slightly to "look" at Kiri, even though his entire face was covered with black, oily bandages. "And you...You would do better to attack next time with something a little stronger than a butterknife." Here, he pulls the knife from the back of his neck and tosses it casually over his shoulder.

Drakkus continues, "I hate to leave you all after so brief an introduction, but I'm afraid I have business to attend to elsewhere. Ladies, if you'll stop pretending?" At this, the two undead girls who had been shuffling slowly towards the group snap to attention, standing straight and nodding towards Drakkus. One speaks up, "Yes, Lord Drakkus." The other pulls the broken bottle from her abdomen, blood oozing from the still-fresh wound and down her thigh, "Leave them to us."

Drakkus nods, then speaks once more, "If you're still around once I'm done with my errand, I assure you I'll be dropping by to take care of that. But for now...how do you humans say it? Toodle-oo!" He gives a mocking wave of his fingers, then disappears abruptly in a flash of purple-black vapor. As soon as he is gone, the two zombie girls turn as one to face the small group, each lunging viciously towards the nearest opponent...

(( OOC: There ya go. Now the zombies are totally in someone else's control. Feel free to slay them if you wish, but keep in mind that they are just as strong, limber, agile, and cunning as any normal human. I hope this allows you the window you needed to wrap this thread up! ))

OOC: Sabre, why is it whenever I have Kiri try to help Tevy, you dont even mention it in your post? lol

"Okay..."

Kiri stepped back a little bit as the dragon entered the room, feeling more than a little bit put off and ignored... she'd tried to console the girl twice tonight, and she never noticed...

"I suppose I'll leave you two to yourselves, then?"

She shook her head, walking out into the main area behind them, though, she had to find Chase and see what in the hell was going on here, after all. Suddenly, though, she stopped, and her eyes moved to the two girls - the two very dead girls... She calmly walked around in front of Jada, growling as the man spoke, then she turned to kick him, but he was gone, and then the undead were coming. She turned to the man angrily, eyes full of fire.

"Get her OUT!"

The image of the cute neko lady already shattered, she flipped up the knives she was still carrying, and threw them both, nailing the women in the neck - both of them - but they only stumbled slightly and then kept coming. Great... fucking undead... Letting out a yell, she leapt at the nearest one, bringing her foot up in a kick that slammed onoe of the high heels she had been wearing into the zombie's chest, sending it falling back onto a table, but still moving. She kicked her other show off, and brought her whole body around in a kick that knocked the other one back, before she watched in horror as they got back up, none the worse for wear.

"Okay, shit... Jada you and Tevy had BETTER be gone!"

Brass kept his eyes on the mummy looking fool as he pranced around. Well, he did disappear but it was almost a dance and the feminine departing left much to be said. Looking back to the two corpses, Brass sighed. The damned rag could have made them a little more amiable. Then Brass could have possibly used them as employees still. What an attraction that would be. Leave signs flashed in his eyes for a moment but Kiri's voice brought him back to the situation. Unsheathing his swords, Brass prepared to recive the women, just not as how he would have liked. It was a shame. Two ladies wasted again...

OOC: Sorry its so short....don't really know what else to do.
