Forgotten: No one can escape. A great flash emerged above all of Aronia leaving each with short term memory loss. Years lost to the fog of amnesia. Can no one recall? That appears to be the case. Whom or what is responsible? Panic has stricken the globe. Will civilization collapse? What will emerge from the reset? Only time will tell. To each citizen of Aronia from the Global Gazette, we wish all luck.
Welcome to Aronia. We hope you enjoy your visit.

((OOC: I think my house is in this district... Couldn't tell from the map. LoL ))

Sabre had walked back to town, Michi held in her arms, with Ferris. Once there, she'd directed the catboy to the best diamond dealer she knew of, whose shop was a few blocks away from hers. She had then entered her home, put the boy to bed, making sure to lock his door from the outside, and gone back down to open shop. Customers were few and far between, but she was content. It wasn't as if this was the way she made her living after all. If she'd wanted, she could be back at Wolfespire, snuggled up in a comfy chair beside a fire with a good book in her hands. But where was the adventure in that?

Humming quietly to herself, she focused on the book in her hands now as she sat idly behind her counter. The store was empty now. The last customer had bought a vase and quickly scuttled out happily. She had to admit to herself that the old ladies buying vases today were starting to freak her out... But business was business... So she just read her book and waited for more customers.

((I can't believe its' alive again! YAY!))
It wasn't long till the boy did indeed fully wake up. A bit groggy at first, he got to his feet, feeling around a bit before his sight came into focus. Grabbing the door handle he tried to turn it, finding it locked that was when he began to panic. Only one thing came to his mind which caused utter panic. 'masters found me...the masters found me and is taking me away again.'

Sabre's ears perked up at the quiet sound. Everything around her had been immensely silent until she'd heard it. Narrowing her eyes, she scanned the room. Nothing was amiss on the shelves and no one had entered the shop in at least an hour. She considered closing up the shop, but her mind was distracted by sudden realization of that the noise she'd heard had been.

Leaving the pile of parchments she'd been flipping through scattered across the counter, she dashed over to the door and locked it before hurrying upstairs. "Michi?" she called in a quiet voice as she reached the top of the stairs and tiptoed over to the boy's door. "Michi? You awake?" Pressing one finger to the magical lock, her own creation from years before which she'd put on every door in her house, she then turned the knob and opened the door slowly and carefully. She peeked in a bit and saw Michi there, out of bed, standing near the door. A warm smile appeared on her face and she entered the room. There was a panicked look on his face and her smile vanished immediately as her eyes shot all around the room, looking for any possible reasons for his fear. "Is everything all right?"

When the door opened, he jumped back, stumbling a bit but regaining his balance. His eyes were wide and he just stared at Sabre. The sky blue eyes jumped from her to behind her and back to Sabre, his eyes meeting with hers again. "Your...your not going to sell me are you?" Tears formed in his eyes and he hurriedly brushed them away. He was truly scared. The lock on the door sent so many ideas through his head.

Two were gurads eagerly entered the small shop, taking care not to touch any items.
"Sabre!" One called, familiar with her face, as the guard had been in service for quite some time. "Sabre!" It called again, "High Priestess needs you, someone attacks her, please, help." the message was again basic, no sugar coating. They waited for a reply, hoping she was available.

"No, my child, goodness no!" Moving forward, her arms open, she kneeled before Michi and put her hands gently on his shoulder. "I am not going to sell you. Ever." She smiled at him reassuringly as she continued to read his expressions. "The lock is on the door to keep those who would harm you out. A mere pre-caution, as I'm afraid I don't know much about your old masters. Come, let's go get some hot tea. How do you feel?"

She heard the front door open. But she had locked it! Eyes wide, Sabre flew to her feet, whirling around to listen for the trespassers. She heard her name being called out in a barking voice. The wereguards. What were they... Sabre's eyes widened. Who dared to have attacked the High Priestess?! Her anger flaring up, eyes beginning to glow a deep crimson, Sabre almost forgot about Michi. Calming herself quickly, she grabbed Michi by the hand gently and motioned for him to follow her out to the stairs.

"I'm here," Sabre called down to the guards. "What has happened? I need details." Her free hand rest idly on the blade at her right hip and she felt the power of it surging through her veins. It was not helping her to keep calm. As they reached the bottom of the stairs, Sabre subtly switched sides with Michi, moving to his left, and put her hand on the sword at her left hip now.

Both were sentient, but they were complete opposites. While one sword was vicious and thrilled with fighting, the other was much more noble and peaceful. They represented her two halves perfectly: the drow -  noble, yet most definitely not afraid to be agressive; and the demon - always full of energy and the urge to slay.

OOC: Hey y'all. Sorry it took me so long to reply. My boyfriend was in town for Thanksgiving, so I was spending time with him all week. ^_^ And now that my senior paper is done, I'll be able to focus more on extra-curricular things - like football. LoL. And RPing. ;P

OOC: sorry, thought it was unlocked, my bad...if you want, just think of it as they knocked on the door really hard....lol
IC: The guard took a moment to gather its thoughts. "Murderer in jail on accident, priestess let him go and said sorry. Now he attacks her and guards cannot help. Please, come to the jail." The guards did not have time to waste. Every moment was one closer to disaster.

Sabre's eyes widened. Her friend, Victoria, was under attack. Realizing her grip on Michi's arm was beginning to get a bit stronger than she would have liked, she quickly dropped her hand to her side. She had to go help her friend.

Pushing Michi forward gently towards the lead guard, whom she knew personally. On occasion, she had run with them, securing the town from those who would dare break its laws.

"Watch him. No one but you or I are allowed near him. Understand?"

The guard nodded his large wolf head in acknowledgement and Sabre returned the polite gesture. "I'll be at the jail."

Darting backwards, she spun mid-stride and pushed the backroom door open while still a few feet away from it. Had anyone been watching her carefully, her usually long, blonde hair had begun to shrink and dye itseld a deep crimson hue. The door slammed shut and its lock bolted tightly as she entered. A flash of blue light shone for a second from under the door, but all was dark again quickly.

In the open room, three wereguards stood around Michi. The largest, obviously the leader of the trio, who had been asked to watch the boy by Sabre looked down at him. "Boy. Name? We watch you for Lady Sabre while she help High Priestess." His deep growl of a voice let through the smile that his face could not.

((OOC: I'ma end this part of the post here and finish it up over in the barracks area. :D ))
Wash: I think they really captured his essence.
Kaylee: He looks kinda mean.
Wash: That's sorta what I meant.
Simon: This must be what going mad feels like.
Kaylee: Everywhere I go, his eyes keep followin' me...

This is the post of Michi (two bells silences) from the MSN site

************* **************
Michi studied the features of the were guard. It most likely wasn' tthe time nor the place but he took a few quick strides forward and touch its face, running his hand through the fur. It fascinated him with its softness and he touched its ears. Suddenly something frightened him and he stepped back, it was obvious he was getting scared quite easily lately, as if flashbacks were sending horrid thoughts through his delicate mind.

"You look like one of the friends brother had..."
