Mark: I went to this website, and downloaded a free e-book guide to writing screenplays last night. I found it simple, straightforward, and informative.

Here is a website I found particularly good for information about writing. It also has a bbs if you join up, and it's free. Screenwriters Utopia
Here is a link mainly informative and helpful for entering writing contests, although there is information there about writing for magazines articles, newspapers, ebooks, and poetry, amongst other things. Smart-Writers
