I dunno....I have my suspicions on this guy as well HC. I assumed you were the only one with the unprotected version....then again, it is not impossible to deprotect it. And getting in contact with Spathis seems to be about as easy as getting onto a passanger airplane. We shall see if his intentions are honorable or not based on a scrutiny of his map. But even then....I still would like the map to be a forum effort as a last ditch attempt to revive this sad excuse for a forum. Anyway, i assume you've tried to contact Spathis. So just wait for what he says? If its legal, then lets support him as best we can? If its Illegal, then lets do what we do best? |

If these guys are actually asking us what they should do then lets give it to them. Nerfs: Itachi (flame range) Ed (unlimited mana and high stun time) Reno (permastun) Gaara (all around overpowered) Buffs: Shishio D (needs to be reworked completely) I think those are the major ones that everyone can agree on. |

Ah... Let's stick with Simple fixes for this version? Just the bare minimum effort should do fine. We can discuss more in-depth balance changes later on for the version thereafter. Edward Elric: Stone gives infinite mana past lv3. Why not reduce it to having only 2 levels? And being able to level only every 10 levels. Or you could give it 3 levels(Past three is pointless. Infinite+1=Infinite), and it levels every 15 levels. Basically making the Infinite Mana a LV36/37 ability like Jin's lv40 Sacrifice. Uchiha Itachi: The Flame is Glitched to have further range than the animation. The range is roughly 1300 while the animation only goes to 900. Reduce the range to about 800 and that should be well. Reno: I think Doubling the mana costs would effectively balance him out. Maybe trippling certain ones IF NEEDED. Gaara: If you REALLY WANT, you can cut down the cast range on both roots by about 200 each. That should increase the number of characters that can damage him while being held by about...seven or eight? Otherwise I see nothing wrong with him. In closing: I won't do anything Drastic yet. While I abhore the manner that this happened, I am fair. I will give you a chance. But be aware: If I see One secret code. One little godmode. One little Outright FuckUp of the map. Well. Consider yourself...Going to have one hell of a bad day. And do not EVEN get a REMOTE IDEA that I cannot find them. You'll basically be "Going All In" with a Ace High. Not. Wise. EDIT: This won't be hard to add. -arsh, All Random Same Hero. It works the same as the -ar trigger, just take the part that calculates the random number for each hero to be given(ex: 1=Shishio, 2=Gaara, 24=Vash, etc), and take it out of the Cycle part of the trigger. So it calculates the number and then applies it to EVERY player, instead of calculating each player's random hero number individually. If I'm not making much sense, I can post a screenshot for you of the trigger used in my map for it. Edited by HeartCard, May 29 2009, 07:48 AM.

I'll go down the list on heroes MOST players seem to have problems with. Saito: Needs a reduction on the damage times from his ultimate. Gaara: (As said above by HeartCard). Itachi: (As said above by HeartCard). Grave: Remove the movement speed bonus or reduce it. Edward: (As said above by HeartCard). Reno: Duration of stuns reduced. Axel: Reduce the range of his teleport. That about right? The only one I'm not sure is Grave. But we can discuss a change for him here. |

Grave is a Great hero overall. The only problem is Cerebus Flare. It's basically a 1200+(12*STR) skill. Add that to the fact that Grave is also STR based and you have a great tank with the largest stat-based skill in the game that IS NOT an ulti. Which means Grave is somewhat easy to fix. Making him AGI based and triple Cerebus Flare mana cost would help but...It won't actually accomplish much. Changing Cerebus Flare to work off INT instead of STR, WOULD work. But I still say triple the mana cost. @_@ Tatsuma: The reason I said double the mana cost cooldown(I think tripling might work better actually) is to remove his Perma-stunness. Currently he has too much mana to run out, and thus why he's so useable despite having low damage. If we triple the mana costs, it should affect him HEAVILY in the early and mid games enough to make him balanced out for the late game. Axel: Rather than the range...How about the cooldown? Add 3 seconds to that at lv10 and you completely balance him out. Oh. And maybe make his Chakrams A LITTLE bit slower. Like 70% as fast as they are now. Saito: 1. Remove flat damage from Gatotsu Stance One. 2. Change critical to be 15% for x4dmg at lv10. 3. Zero Stance Cooldown needed to be doubled. It's 60 seconds atm, it should be ATLEAST 120. P.S. : I'm trying to keep the editors in mind here. I have no clue how well they are able to edit JASS, so I won't ask too much just yet. P.S. P.S. : Also. Since there's a new anime fight, anyone mind testing out Warrior Souls 1.25F before AF1.4b is released? Could help you get back in the mix of things, but it might make anime fight's list of commands/items/games seem...lack luster. :P Still need more glitches reported. D: |

I forgot to put the cooldown part, the main reason the change on range is because Kakashi has a skill just like it but has like 750 less range. So it's just to balance out the two. |

I'd make the blinks' range lower but leave the cd as is. You're messing with the playability of the hero when you change that. |

For Axel, if you're going to increase Cd, increase by at most 2 seconds. Any more is killing him. But shortening the range should be better. |

Actually. I had a better idea. Honestly, this is NOT CANON. The portals in Kingdom Hearts 2 take MUCH longer to pull open and make use of than the technique Kakashi uses. MUUUUUCH longer. So bare in mind, this is NOT canon. Frankly, if you want to be canon about this, raise the cooldown to 3 seconds TOTAL at least and up the range (only if you really want) to about 2500 at lv10(I think that's what AF:Revolution decided would be best a few months back, I stand by that). If you don't mind going completely out of canon: Remove the cooldown, cut the range to 600, and raise Kakashi's Range to 1300at lv10. Bam. Spam Blink more, but FAR LESS Distance. Why don't we have a poll on these type of things? If a 65+% majority of the poll votes for one idea, we use that idea? Why not 50~64%? Honestly I feel that 50~60 is aliiiiittle too close to be fair. But 70% seemed also perhaps too high to achieve without mass re-polling. |

people with mana shields need those nerfed a bit. Instead of blocking the whole 100% damage, how about 80% instead? |

After playing the actual map online, I laughed and then thought up a list of things that should be promptly fixed: 1. The load screen. Look a custom screen with info on a...insanely well-known map...is nice and all. But knowing who loads slowly and who doesn't is MUCH more useful after your FIRST TIME with the new map. I choose this method for Warrior Souls because frankly, It's just more useful screen overall. It accurately tells you how long until the game loads, and isn't that more important than some spam advertisement about a forums you'll never visit? I understand the idea of getting the forum, and your name, out there. Just do what I did with Warrior Souls. Put a little credit text at the beginning and ending of the game about yourself, the map, and everything else you want to. 2. Disabling Karasu in -mm is a bad idea. It doesn't stop the crash bug(infact, it might have caused a new one one of the times I did -ar after -mm) because you still have Jin VS Jin to worry about. 3. D bug NOT entirely fixed. It's just less promised. From what I saw, there was basically a 50%ish chance it would work. 4. Delay...On Sacrifice? Are you serious? 1.5 secound DELAY? The hell...Seriously... What good does that do? Anyone? Besides nerfing Jin. ANYONE? If it's at the start of the skill, that makes it much more difficult to use against heroes such as kenshin or...hell everyone. If it's Between Each Hit? Dear God no. Just. No. Please. No. 0.1 secound delay between each hit is BY FAR all you need. Ever. Seriously. @Crim: You mean like Gaara's? Frankly I think it depends on the character. Since Naraku has Life Steal, along with some damn good melee thanks to clones, his should be the most ABSOLUTE barrier but the lowest ratio. EX: Blocks 100% of damage, 1 point of mana is equal to 1.4 points of damage.((1int=15mana)*1.4=22). In other words, each INT becomes worth +1dmg and +22HP to Naraku's final stats. This is keeping in mind that, if I recall correctly, Anime Fight gives 20HP per STR instead of the normal 25. Miroku's should leak 50% of damage. Since he really...doesn't have much of a barrier compared to Naraku or even Gaara. However, the MP rate should be higher in this case to balance it out. EX: 1 Mana is equal to 2 points of damage. Effectively meaning +30HP per int while mana shield is up. Gaara's should perhaps leak a tad more than normal, 20% instead of 10%. The ratio seems fine otherwise. Reprise: Fix Loadscreen please. |
