I'm confused. How is it harder to guard something with only four sides as opposed to something with no sides to it? S.Cloud @ Garaa(Both of whom cannot seem to read atm): I said I would LIKE that. I did not say I would ENFORCE it. And btw, if we DID implement that rule, cloud would have no techniques. Because in Last Order, he has none. He would have one innate skill:

cloud said he wanted to have dante/virgil you replied with wanting a no heroes that dont have an anime rule. sounded like you were saying you didnt want to even talk about remaking dante/virgil since they dont have animes.. or maybe you were just randomly bringing up the fact you wanted to have a no heroes without animes rule?
that doesnt say anything about if you would be putting in dante or virgil, infact you havent said anything about it... |

Enforcing it entails I would refuse to put them in the map. Let's clear this up quickly: I'm not refusing any heroes. Post them in the new heroes section. If the forum agrees the remake would be enjoyable to play, it'll be added. If not, it'll be ignored. All I'm saying is that AF Rev's first version will only have 12 heroes. It'll increase by 12 each version. One new tavern per version. And that AFR is semi-low priority for me. I still have alot going on. Chances to work on it may start showing up by the start of next month at the quickest. |

ok, in that case, you have no excuse for not adding dante and since theres only one "combo" move in the entire game as far as i know, which would be between dante/virgil.. its fun to add him in too. but either way even if you did enforce it, you would have no reason to not add dante. |

Garaa: No but I could be mean and limit his abilities to only those used in the anime. >: D P.S. : I was considering adding a Style system to Dante for MUCH later when he's added in. The combo meter is raised for each time you use a different tech. Going from "Alright!" "Cool!" "Sweet!" "Excellent" and finally "SHOWTIME!". Getting the style meter to Showtime would double the damage of all his techs. Level is raised if within 5 secounds of the last tech, one of the following(if it hasn't been done already for the meter): Dante melees a hero. Dante range-melees a hero. Stinger. Devil form. Devil form's ulti. After five secounds, the meter drops back to 0. Showtime, however, lasts until dante dies(Will not be removed if dante dies Within 30 secounds after getting showtime). Darkwield: I'm getting rather sick of that type of statement. On the other hand it does atleast give me some pride in knowing that I follow the saying: "It is better to brew failed cure after failed cure, than to simply let poison kill you." I'm not nearly as much a "Set in Stone" type of person as you seem to portray me. To be honest I don't see either as very hard to guard. The closest thing I can imagine you're thinking of is that with the fountain your team must spread out around it, which is somewhat pointless since everyone spawns in the same mid-exit anyways. Let me clarify: If you have no arguement that is fine. But if you have an arguement and simply "Don't see it worth the effort", then make sure not to complain later on when nothing changes. |

Just because the port point is one specific location doesn't mean that all units will be there. : / I could be creeping on your side of the map and be on my way back, use my teamates as a bait on one side of the fountain whilest I range attack from the other side of the fountain. Ppl will simply target the easiest thing they can get(those jumping in at the spawnpoint). That's just one example.. But you're looking for an argument to shoot down. There you go, that's one situation that a fountain will prove useful. |

The fountain is also advantageous to those already with an advantage over melee heroes. In other words, the fountain is problematic to melee against ranged. Albeit no heroes in revolution will probabley end up as bad at melee as the current ones are. Oh and please remember: Since AF Rev is using WS1.24 as a base, that means spawn in the middle is at a random point around the middle. P.S. : I still wanna add Optimus Prime to the Hero Rooster. One must admit his playstyle would be semi-unique. And he IS from an anime. The only problem stopping me in the mecha rule. Which I was proposing a revise on:
Which would basically mean Any mecha that think for themselves would be allowed. So EVA units, Transformers, Cyborgs, and the like. The problem is escalation. "Well Sentient Mechas are allowed, how come non-sentient ones too?" (Galvatron would be another unique playstyle. Give your ally a super equip that mass raises damage=unique. I say galvatron because he also has a Cannon mode unlike Megatron). Either way, I say we hold a forum poll on if to revoke hero limitations. Seriously, it's kinda unfair in the first place that only ONE of the hero restrictions is upheld(No Mecha Heros. And I know I'm not the only one to do a sentient robot hero). |

Not really. It's basically the same as Vegeta X Goku. EVA units are about 20% larger than Gundam Units. You could say that: Gundams: 5'5" feet EVA units: 7' feet If you put them on Human Scales. |

EVA's are approximately 131 feet tall. Gundams are approximately 54 feet tall. |

Garaa: Which gundams? More importantly. And Shinji is about 5'8. So Eva cannot be 131'. Shinji is roughly the size of Unit 01's foot, which is about a 1/15th of the Eva's size(estimated, as I know my foot is 1/11th the size of my body and I'm 5'5). Which if you apply that to Eva, that would mean they're roughly 70 or so feet. Either way: The sizings of the current heroes isn't exactly accurate. Vash is rather tall, same with Aoshi, but Kenshin stands much taller than both. Howl isn't exactly short himself. No reason the Eva/Mecha couldn't just be Somewhat bigger, right? |
