I recently "bought" this game, and I must say it's a pretty good expansion. The two new races have unique play styles. Sisters of Battle: Good Good mix of infantry and weaponry. Can almost 1 shot enemy buildings. Has good ultimate unit several different commander unit faith system bad lacks vehicles not enough firepower lacks good weapons against vehicles Dark Eldar Good extremely powerful weapons can collect souls strong vehicles commander unit has bodyguards large amount of different spells vehicles are faster than average bad low population cap squads are too small can't build defensive buildings hp too low I haven't tried the aircraft units yet, so I can't say anything about those. |

Wish they'd make a good RTS of Warmachine, but it isn't popular enough yet I guess. |

Oooo, new expansion for WH40k? I've got to get this. Are they stronger than Necrons by any chance? I hate Necrons, annoying bastards. |

Dark Eldar can be basically an anti-infantry race. Almost all their spells and weapons are especially deadly against infantry. Seeing as Necrons only have 3 types of vehicles, yeah. Dark Eldar should be able to beat Necrons. |

I'm surprised they'd add the Sisters of Battle over the Tyrranids, which are more popular. Still, I suppose they thought since someone already modded a 'nids campaign it wasn't necessary. |

The 'nid mod really 'aint that good. And the only real way that they could do the Tryranids justice, as a Tyranid player myself, would to have side buildings for all of the unit producing buildings that had biomorph buttons that you could click and they would add price and benifits to units before they started being produced. Okay, that's really confusing. Lemme give an example using everyone's favorite termagunts. Say the Termagaunts cost 70 rec. and no power, while re-enforcing costs 25 rec.. We go tho their side building and click on the implant attack biomorph, which gives additional meele damage, but also adds 30 rec. to the cost of the Termagaunts, plus 5 additional rec. to re-enforce. So, if I wanted to build my Implant Attack Termagaunts, the squad would cost 100 rec. initially, and 30 rec. to re-enforce one unit. and as far as Necrons being cheap, That's why the awsome Anihalation mod exists. It balances everything so the Tau don't suck and the Necrons aren't un-dying. Plus it adds Wargear. |

Tau suck? I'm sorry, but you need to re-evaluate that statement. The Tau can tear some serious ass in the hands of the right person. They're like the Eldar in that sense, if you don't use them carefully then you're going to die. If you know what you're doing, you're going to rip the enemy a new one. As for the Necrons, honestly they're not really all that tough. I don't really have much problem fighting the Necrons with the proper strategy, the thing to remember is that you need to prep your anti-infantry/anti-heavy infantry weaponry against them. To top it off Necrons are EXTREMELY weak against enemy special abilities because 75% of their army is infantry. Honestly, I'd say the most difficult army to beat is the Orks because they just drown you with their numbers. They die fast, but they build just as fast and by the time you finish off one squad another has probably already taken its place. |

The only thing that makes Necrons uber is the damn resurrection orb. Your enemy sends waves of cheap and crappy units with a few strong ones. You easily fend off wave after wave. Then he sends another wave, but this time with a Necron Lord. He activates the resurrection orb, and your base gets drown by Necrons. Then all he does is repeat while waiting for the Cooldown then use the rob again. |

Easy way to take care of that? Keep up your offense so the Necrons don't have the chance to reach you. Don't forget, they're the slowest moving army in the game and it's definitely their biggest weakness. |

I've yet to buy the new EP but it seems pretty awesome and people saying tau suck are just not really trying to use them fully, I personally suck with them... but did they give better stuff to the Imperials? To the person who asked about Warmachine, that game is way too unpopular to even be conidered a game.. Cool people though, I personally am making a Merc army... |
