Off-Topic: This is the topic to actually RolePlay in the Advent Legacy storyline. Create your character(s) in the other Topic in the Off-Topic section to join. I put this topic in the Gaming section for 2 reasons: 1. Becuase this is much of a GAME with the users. And the other is just random talk by comparison. 2. To help from getting either topic overwritten by the other. Link to the Advent Legacy Off-Topic...Topic: Here This section will Explain the names of certain people or things as they are listed in the story. Prolouge: P-1: Afdefrum - A play on AF de Forum. The Forum of Anime Fight. Afnofrum and Afofrum simply didn't sound as good. P-2: The Councel of Mod - A play on "Moderation Staff"/Mods. P-3: The Chaos Emperor - A rephrasing of ChaosLord's name. P-4: The Salient - Salient means "Surrendering", refering to ChaosLord's IRL situation of Giving up the will to live. P-5: Ba'ned - A play on the term "Banned". P-6: The Black Ruler - A term to phrase in Vetmode's links to computer crashing website, thus Black Screen. And thus Black Ruler. P-7: The Goat - A term to phrase Vetmode's Goatse porn links. His main weapon one could say. P-8: The Nate - A play on Comp(Noob)'s name. Nate. P-9: The Great King Spathis - It's Spathis. He owns. Case Closed. Chapter 1: C1-1: Merciless - NoMercyForU C1-2: Haku of the Flame - Kiri_No_Haku C1-3: BlueInferno - xBlueFlamex C1-4: Rain - Made up character. C1-5: Kitten - Cat C1-6: Everbone - Made up character. Prolouge - "The Advent" It is the year, 2010. The World known as Afdefrum*P-1* lies in ruin. The apocolyptic war against Vetmode ended in horror. In late 2008, Afdefrum was in peace. Despite the common squabbles within it's people it was indeed peaceful. The Councel of Mod*P-2* had successfully banished all the criminals from the lands. However...The seal to keep the banishment was infact the very life of one of the Councel of Mod, the one known as "The Chaos Emperor"*P-3*. The life of a member of the Councel of Mod is immune to time and thus they do not age. It was imagined the death of one would never come to pass. That idea however, was found in distaste by The Salient*P-4*. The Salient himself was a figure of weak power, and often held a cheerful and trustworthy face. He was very close with The Chaos Emperor, perhaps too close. Or rather, too Trusted. The Salient violently slayed The Chaos Emperor while he wast resting in his bed. The Salient quickly left Afdefrum and went into the lands of Ba'ned*P-5*. He approached the "Black Ruler"*P-6*, once known as Vetmode in his times prior to criminality, and though his left was to be taken any moment he ended that fear by stating he brought most promising news. Upon sparing his life and allowing The Salient to join Vetmode's ranks he revealed the Seal of Banishment had fallen, as had the life of The Chaos Emperor. Vetmode's horrid smile is something that could cause the very lands themselves to turn over in disgust. And that smile was very large today. He lift up his sword "The Goat"*P-7* and raised it to the dark and clouded skies of Ba'ned. Calling forth his vast and powerful legions to arms. There was little time to prepare, as Afdefrum was still in greiving over the loss of The Chaos Emperor, or shaking in fear that the Seal of Banishment was gone. It would take ten days to establish a new seal...Clearly they didn't have such time. There was more confusion as no one could find The Salient. It was, however, assumed The Salient was chasing down The Chaos Emperor's murderer becuase of their assumed close bond. It was not until The Nate*P-8* of the Councel of Mod realized that it was Salient himself who killed The Chaos Emperor, that preparations for defense were made. Far too late however. Even with the tactical lead of The Nate, Afdefrum was overtaken by the Legions of Ba'ned under the lead of Vetmode within a day. Vetmode's large and emmense eight foot tall body coupled with his powerful black armor took almost every hit from all those who would stand in his way. His massive blade slapping gaurds away as if they were small pups. Until he reached the throneroom of the great King Spathis*P-9*. It is not known the exact extent of their battle, Nor of the winner. Some say Spathis escaped, seeing a kingdom where only he lived as pointless. Some say Spathis was killed by Vetmode. Some say Vetmode could not hope to defeat Spathis and merely sealed him away. Whichever the case, it was clear the two did indeed fight. The massive shaking of the towers, being torn asunder from the inside out, the immense slashes of their swords, and that Vetmode now wears the Crown of Spathis. The Castle of Afdefrum lies in ruin now. It's people suffer under the monarchy that is Vetmode. It's once green and beautiful trees and flowers turned to ash. It's green lands scorched and burnt to a crisp. And it's people scorched and also burnt, or atleast their hopes are. The world lies in ruin. And the events leading to this disaster are forever known as "The Advent". Chapter I - "Existance" It is again the year 2010. Following the events of "The Advent". seven Dark Generals have been appointed by Vetmode to monitor and rule his lands. Merciless, Haku of the Flame, BlueInferno, Rain, Kitten, Everbone, and The Nate*C1-1 through 6*. It has become known, however, that some of the Dark Generals may very well be under brainwashing. Each General reigning over one of the seven sections of Afdefrum. Defiance is never tolerated, and will often result in the death of the subject. For to defy a Dark General is to defy Vetmode himself. Thoughout the past two years, several Rebellions have been formed. None successful. It is here we begin to see our story's "interests". Our would-be Heroes... *And here is where you introduce your character into the storyline. It should be done in this format. Name: *The name of whatever character you're introducing at the time* Section: *Which of the seven sections your character is in. You cannot say the same section as the guy above you. However the person above that you MAY copy.* Rival General(Optional): *State which of the seven generals your character particularly dislikes, wants to kill, or perhaps believes is being controlled and thus wishes to liberate* Intro: *Introduce your character. No need to describe them, just what are they doing? Perhaps they could react to one of the events going on in their section?* Your section is VERY important. As it will affect which events happen that you have a chance to be involved in. It could also affect your end result of living or dieing, and when you do so. I cannot list which general is in which section just yet. Be aware the Sections line up like clockwork around the kingdom. Getting from one to another isn't too hard and may only take a few hours of walking. I was gonna post my character's intro right now but...I've had my fill of writting for now. |

Name: Rakuo Kaitsu Optional title: 'The Cloud' Section: 7 Purpose: Rakuo believes that Nate is under mind control, and therefore, searches for him. He has seen the destruction that the other Generals have caused. And even his friend, Haku of the flame, had been apart of the banned. He goes to try and liberate Nate so that he may discover the truth about his friend, and figure out why he had come to this world four years previously. His best target for this information, was Vetmode. And he had already caused trouble for him during the sealing of the ba'ned. Intro: Rakuo starts to makes his way down a road. The dirt felt as it always had. Rough, and annoying. He looked up just to see that there was a nearby town. Before he continued, he lifted up his right hand and looked at the scar on the back of it. It was in the shape of a flame. Rakuo had recieved this wound in a battle agaisnt vetmode, which Rakuo had lost and the Chaos Emperor had to step in to stop Vetmode from killing him. Even so, he continued to fight vetmode. Finding that the more he was defeated, the more te scar started to spread. By the time vetmode was defeated, the scar had preceded upon his arm. The last time Rakuo and Vetmode had fought, Rakuo had yet again, lost. But this time, while Vetmode laughed, Rakuo Took a cheap shot. Which allowed the Chaos Emperor to seal vetmode away. When vetmode returned, Rakuo had taken up arms to fight. But after a few victories, his unit was defeated by one of Vetmodes generals and Rakuo was then presumed dead. But before the death blow that would have killed Rakuo, He was somehow teleported away from the battle. Ending up in a forest with his wounds healed and his 'soul' restored. Rakuo came back form his memories and turned his hand into a fist, and then brought it down. Hiding it within his hooded robe. He sighed, and walked forward.... |

Name: Rail Phoenix Section: 3 Intro: Lazily laying under a tree Rail finds himself wandering around, the new land he finds himself in seems to be overridin by bandits and fiends, at least a lot more so then the previous land he had inhabited. Sitting under this tree by a small river he notices passangers pass by every now and then. Requiring a method to living he ignites a peice of clothing on a passengers body every now and then and then quickly "rushes to the rescue" then requests some kind of food for repayment of his "good deed", such a con is not normal of Rail's personality but without money to buy some kind of sustaninence he has been forced to resort to such measures. |

Name: Alexia Varnet Section: 5 Rival General: Rain Intro: *Alexia stretchs out her arms in the desert like area of Section 5. She looked around to see the people sloched and looking more like corspes than human beings. The section ruled by Everbone seemed to reflect his name. The people looked accordingly, as did the housing and the sands* "How...exotic this place has become..." *Her soft and sweet voices appearently was appearently very loud in this town. Not surprising when most of the people are silent. A two guards heard her and turned in her direction. Of course, Alexia's accidently slip of tounge would cost her life. She made sure to be in an alleyway before the guards could fully turn around.* (This...Sucks...) OOC: I'd like to also establish three or four things here. If you're not sure how to go about writing your RPing actions/words/thoughts, do as I do. *Words inside this represent actions/events* "Words inside this represent speech" (Words inside this represent the person's thoughts) This is of course optional. The other thing I'd like to do is establish what kind of lands each of the seven sections are: Section 1ne: Utterly devastated. Nothing but rubble, death, and a loathesome general remain. Things in this place will often be subject to salvaging by the merchants from other sections. Parts of this land are often full of rusted and soaking metals due to the excess rain given to the seventh section. Section 2wo: Highly devastated, but there is a populace here. Starvation, death, and the like ravage the town. The townspeople are in their best days, sickly. Section 3hree: A scorched and fire tortured land. Once filled with many trees, such things now are mere shells of their former selves. The hotlands reflect perfectly the nature of their General's powers. There are rumours that in these lands clothes themselves may even combust unexpectedly(I blame WhitePhoenix). Section 4our: The most organic of the seven sections. For some reason during "The Advent" these lands were accidently skipped. It is perhaps because there were directly behind the castle from the direction of Ba'ned. Fruit, Trees, even flowers still manage to grow fine in these lands. Section 4 is perhaps the reason that each Section is not simply out to destroy All of the rest, becuase of how perfect Section Four remains. Making Section Three and below take all of the devastation. Section 5ive: A desert wasteland. Plants rarely grew here, after "The Advent" this became a perminate truth. Food nor water is scarce, but the town is constantly silent. For large noises highly annoy the general in this section. They say it is becuase the general has no flesh or muscle and so the sounds just echo throughout his skull. Section 6ix: A very City-like area. The rain it often gets from being so close to the Seventh section allows it to have proper vegetation. It has a very maze like structure as to the wishes of it's General during the restructuring of it. Section 7even: A rainsoaked town. Rainstorms in this section are all too common. Despite most of the town being made from metal, rain continues to pour down. It has always been this way, becuase of it's General. Even in his time as a Councel of Mod, he made sure this town was often subject to rain. The people here are indeed hapiest for some reason. Now allow me to explain the last two things: First which General is where(If you're searching for this general you cannot start in their section): 1st: The Nate 2nd: Merciless 3rd: Haku of the Flames 4th: Kitten 5th: Everbone 6th: BlueInferno 7th: Rain The other thing is that there is a decree in Afdefrum now: The Empire(Vetmode's reign) is constantly fixing up each section in reverse order. Going from 7 to 1. However, this is much a very nicely decorated bomb. As the Empire promises that once all seven sections are of atleast Decent Appeal, ALL the sections shall be utterly destroyed. And so the peoples often make sure to have the 3rd through 1st sections constantly destroyed to prevent this from happening. However such people are often killed by the empire for commiting pillagery. A clever ploy by Vetmode purely just to create more madness, despair, and conflict in the people. Pitting them against each other. |

Name: Pariah Section: None at the moment, wanders beyond the walls of Afdefrum (be patient with this, Pariah's interaction will come very soon) Rival Genera(s): None Introduction: Blistering winds ripped through the jagged, rocky crags of the Burning Wastes. White sand rode the wind in clouds, slicing through the air with force enough to cut into human flesh. The sun had just peaked in the midday sky, its burning fury unhindered by the swirling sandstorm that ripped across the Saber Peaks. It was a truly desolate place, these mountains, and the valley below was no better. Tainted and scorched during the recent wars, the Burning Wastes had certainly earned its name. Frequented with earthquakes, lava flows and scalding geysers it was a place where no living being could survive. To Pariah, it was the perfect hideaway. Holding his cloak shut to protect against the biting sands, Pariah carefully picked his steps as he descended the Saber Peaks. With the violent winds pushing against him it was an incredibly difficult task, but he had weathered these storms before and such things were nothing new to him. What had become new to him was his interest in the armies that ravaged these lands recently. The Burning Wastes had been terrible enough as it was in the century or so he wandered them, but now they were something different all together. The soil itself had become tainted, and the little life that did linger here had faded away completely within the short span of a single year. Not even so much as a locust made its way through this place. Lost in his thoughts, Pariah tripped over one of the smaller rocks. His face slammed into the side of another, creating a large gash across his right side. Another addition to the many. Irritated with his luck, he sat himself up and ran the tip of his middle-left finger across the wound. Bloodless, as they often were. The right half of his face had greatly succumbed to the slow rot that took command of his body some centuries ago. Dull scarlet flesh, white tendons and bleached bones were all that remained of that half of his face, the other charred black for reasons he could not remember. Rising to his feet once more, he continued to make his way down the mountains in the same direction the armies had gone. He knew where they had headed, there was only one reason for a far off land to cross the Burning Wastes, for they guarded the people of Afdefrum from most intruders. Unfortunately for them it did nothing to slow the vile marauders or their leader, the one called Vetmode. The news had managed to reach even Pariah's ears, news that within a span of months Vetmode had completely conquered Afdefrum, even turning members of their Council into his generals. A being of such power is likely to have had longevity far beyond his mortal time. Fate is beginning to turn in my favor, finally granting me with an opportunity to bring my past back to me. With that thought in mind, Pariah continued his march on to the walls of Afdefrum. |

OOC:I'm beginning to be able to map out this world, in especial thanks to therran. Pryveot is located northwest of Afdefrum. Pubslicia is located to the southeast of Afdefrum. 'Burning Wastes' is an area on the outskirts of Afdefrum just within the country of Pryveot. It is directly west of Afdefrum. We'll leave the area as therran described it. 'Sabers Peak' is an area within Pryveot. Northwest of Afdefrum. However, due to it being with the 'Burning Wastes' region it is unpopulated(Excluding passing-throughers and the like). As my map begins to fill more diligently I'll create a .jpg map of the world to my best abilitiy(textures will come later). Also, I feel stupid for not figuring this out sooner. However, the reason no one is posting is becuase they don't know what to post and what to do. They're afraid of me going "no no! That does NOT happen! You can NOT do that" perhaps. Or rather a "Ah crap...Can I redo it then?" situation. Or perhaps they're just going "Wtf do I do?" Either way, here are four optional events currently going on within each of Afdefrum's sections(Some sections may have less than 4). Interaction with any of these events IS GOOD. DO IT(If possible). Be warned, my powers as a writer are limited. I cannot save you from putting yourself in an obviously bad and outright stupid situation. Example: You save a small child from being beheaded by a General for bumping into him. The general forgets about the child and proceeds to go after you. You fight the general and begin to get weak. Even if the general has no guards around, you can't seem to beat him. As I writer I could step in here and go
However in THIS situation: You approach three Dark Generals who are gathered together for whatever reason. And proceed to attack them. Guards acting like the walls of some Gladiator arena, the Dark Generals quickly overpower you. As I writer, I want to live you live but...U has nu hopez. Dumbass. And so here are the current Events happening within each section: Section One: -A merchant is gathering weapons. But often tosses them aside for some reason. -Another man is also searching through the rubble. However, he is being harassed and will most probabley die at the hands of the Soldiers nearby. -A sword with a gold handle and a crystal clear blade stands alone amongst the rubble. Sticking out of a large piece of what was once a wall. The sword seems to emit a glow, and does not seem to bend, break, or even budge, even after much rubble has hit it. -A small red haired girl with ponytails(In that classic cheerleader image fashion) and raggy clothes lies unconscious somewhere. Section Two: -Two teenage girls are being confronted by Merciless. Soon to become another 'Demonstration' of the General's name. -A young woman is being harassed by guards. Attempting to take colorful bottles from her grasp, her resistance will be to no avail soon. -A small boy lies against a street wall with a knife plunged into his throat. A young lady with golden blonde hair laughs with her friends while pointing to it. -A small girl with long hair past her hips stands ontop of a tower, holding a small red orb. Section Three: -An entire house is being melted down while it's family still lies inside unconscious. The flames that attempt to melt the house are those of Haku himself. -A small boy looks on as his parents are violently beheaded by soldiers. He becomes silent with shock. -A young man steals the sword of a Soldier and proceeds to behead the soldier before piercing the blade into another soldier nearby. There still remain three soldiers left however, whilst a fourth goes to get reinforcements. -Another boy begins to attempt to light a match to throw into a stack of hay. Ontop of the hay is a small girl wrapped tightly in ropes and gagged. Section Four: -Most of the town is busy adoring their Dark General, Kitten. Hoping to please her as they sometimes do with such acts. -A young lady carrying a fruit basket to bring it to Kitten accidently bumps into a soldier, who then proceeds to threaten her and asks for 'Compensation' for his hip that she 'damaged'. -A very large and muscluar man(Around eight feet tall) is lifting up a soldier by the head. A small girl is sitting down next to the seemingly massive giant, looking abit dazzed and holding her head. -Another young girl's hand is being placed on a top with a small knife ready to cut it off. Clearly the girl tried to steal something from the fruit vendor...and got caught. Section Five: -A young lady is being kicked in the back by two soldiers. It seems she's protecting some kind of small grouping of plants. A rare sight indeed within this town, matched only by the rarity of her own actions. To protect the flowers' lives she is enduring the brutal pain of their kicks, and the cutting of her back from the metal boots. -A man in black robes with metal plating on it in seemingly random places walks through the town. His clothing is seemingly soaked to the bone. His good looks clear as the robe hosts no hood. His neck length black hair spiked back. It is clear he is from the seventh section due to his clearly drenched outfit. -In the middle of the roads a rather muscular man lies naked and unconscious. -A small childlike girl is lieing against a wall, her left arm cut off just below the shoulder. Blood seemingly just falling out of her shoulder. Three soldiers stand infront of her, one with his sword raised and still bloody. The girl's eyes widen and she begins to shake with both fear...and agonizing pain. Screaming is no good. A scream within this town certainly not uncommon. However, the girl stays quiet. She knows that she may be spared if she does so. Everbone is nearby, and the soldiers are laughing rather loudly. He is sure to become quite irritated by them quickly. Section Six: -A few houses are in flames. The cause is unknown, but it is certain that no general nor soldier caused this. As the soldiers are trying to put the flames out. -A husband and wife are feuding rather loudly. Three soldiers nearby attempt to settle them down, and the first is slapped several feet away by the wife. The other two simply watch with their mouths open. -A young man holds his powerful claymore in hand and proceeds to slash through ten soldiers. Reinforcements come, and the man only seems to smile. Slashing through the 'reinforcements' that only seemed to 'reinforce' the amount of blood on his sword. A small quake begins to shake his footing. Their numbers this time are certainly reassuring themselves. Numbering now in atleast a hundred soldiers. The man does not fringe and proceeds to clap them and says only "You guys are pretty fast". -A young lady with extremely long and braided hair stands ontop of a roof, holstering a powerful bow and arrow set. Her golden yellow eyes seeming pinpointing the exact spot she must shot to strike through two soldiers with a single arrow. She jumps from roof to roof, trying to get the perfect angle. And she is then walked up on by...(Accept this event to be this person). Section Seven: -A small parade is going on. Despite the heavy rain, most of the people are smiling and dancing and lack umbrellas or any raincoats of any kind. A remarkable thing about this town is that is it the most peaceful and joyous amongst the sections. Even the soldiers are often smiling. -A small house is lit aflame. The screams of the people within lost to the other screams going on in the town, those of the parade. How like happiness to drown out the sounds of despair and agony. However, one must wonder...How does a house stay aflame with such a heavy and constant downpour of rain? -A young girl slightly off from the main parade is giving a married soldier quite a bad day. She proceeds to remove most of her clothings and then continue to hit on the soldier. The soldier remarks the situation with "Remaining faithful is perhaps more brutal a battle than one against Lord Vetmode himself." to which his friend, another soldier on watch duty, is forced simply to nod. -A young girl who seems to be wearing nothing but long white cloth bandages around most of her body as if it were shorts and a tanktop, along with several long bandages floating apart from her body like hair strands. Her pale skin, radiant blonde hair, and powerful blood red pupils seemingly glowing in the night as she leaps from rooftop to rooftop. Now all of the above events can have more than one person participate in them at a time. However, only one person can take the 4th listed event of the 1st, 2nd, 5th, 6th, and 7th sections. For somewhat obvious purposes in most cases. Also, if no one takes the 4th listed event in the 5th section I may just turn the girl into a main character...I'm already beginning to like her. P.S. : I want to clarify something. The entirety of Section One looks like the opening scene of the FF7:AC preview. That Junkyard area. Section Two looks much the same but with remnants of what used to be a town. There are still buildings around that are simply somewhat ruined, but still stand and such. |

OOC: If you want a better image...Think of Chii from Chobits when Hideki FIRST fines her. All covered in bandages. If you want an idea of how to interact with this event, you're not getting it. This is a Player Interactive RPG. I want YOU to help craft the story too. The options to interact with that event as I imagine it are: -Noticing via action text(whatever method you use for such) your catching sight of the girl leaping from the roofs. -Attempting to stalk her/Giving chase. -Asking around about the girl. Come on, think for yerself. Oh and if a detail is not filled in on a character of the event you're taking, you may opt to fill it in yourself to your own liking. Assuming of course it is not a General. However, there may be instances when I decide I do not like how you fitted the character and I actually had something better in mind(but forget to add it), and thus will have a "Rewrite" section at the top of my post. Redesigning the information you gave on the character to be better to my designs. This is again, a power I will probabley not use. In the event I do, be suspicious of the character as it will probabley be a plot involved character if only temporarily. Heheh, I'm calling Dibs(Since no one else has) on Section Five's 4th event! Also, to make it easier to follow for others. You may wish to quote the event you're taking up prior to your post about it. Back In Character:
*Alexia continued walking through the streets of the city after escaping a rather unwanted bit of attention. A small thud could be heard nearby. Horrible laughing followed. Alexia creeped to see a horrible sight. The thud was identified as the sound from the arm of a small girl hitting the tough sand. The laughter from the soldier that removed the arm from the small girl. The only sound missing here was from the scream that should have followed the removal of that arm. The blood of the small 3'8" girl of very pale skin and silvery white hair that came down to her waist in a rather bounce manner, bangs cut just above the eyes. Her clothes were mere rags of a gray nature. Her eyes were however, an emerald green. The girl grasped her shoulder, surrounding where her arm had parted with her hand, bloody still flowing out. The blood stained her hair, her clothes, but most of all it stained Alexia's heart. The girl did not scream, and Alexia did not wait to see another arm lost. She pulled out one of her Cards and materialized it. Taking the form of a seemingly normal blade with a red handle and a black heart insignia at the base of the blade on both sides. She stepped out of the alleyway. She approached the group of soldiers without a word. The girl's silence proved she was from this town, she knew better than to enrage Everbone with her unwanted voice. Alexia understood, and agreed it was best not to bring out a fight she was better off avoiding. The soldiers however, seemed out of place. Their armor was a light blue, most soldiers under Everbone's rule wear a beige colored armor. The soldiers were out of place indeed. Soldiers wearing a light blue were under the command of The Nate. They began to yell and scream at Alexia.* Soldier One-"Who the HELL are you?" *Soldier Two points the still bloody sword at Alexia. Soldier Three proceeds to lift up the small girl by the neck, her eyes flicker with both pain and fear.* Soldier Two-"Haha! Who cares!? She's our slave now! THAT'S WHO SHE FUCKING IS! HAHA!" Soldier Three-"Yeah this brat is too small. She ain't gonna be fun at all. Let's get this whore instead." *The loud conversation draws the eyes of Everbone to it completely. The laughter was bad enough, but he was in a good mood today...Was...His body seemed with a fake skin, his muscles were white and hard as bone, his face rather skeletal, and his height and 'muscle' rather immense. Standing at 6'6" and weighing an incredible 450lbs. His sword "Tombstone" added another 120lbs to that already extensive weight, as it stood almost on par with it's wielder at 5'8" and was just as wide. Alexia's feet moved quickly. Everbone was already furious with the noise and his massive shockwave-like footsteps would set her footing off if it came much closer. Alexia's pace was slow but swift at the same time. Making sure not to make excess noise, not too hard when her armor did not rattle thanks to it's form and the clothed insides, nor her body weighing much, nor her blade being just a regular sword weighing less than five pounds. Her blade flew with her as she flipped it through the neck of the first soldier. Spinning around his soon to be headless corpse towards the third soldier. The secound soldier attempted his move, a vertical slash with a thundering "YOU BITCH!". Instinct attempted to force Alexia to block, but the clashing metal sound would only further annoy Everbone. She proceeded to remove the head of the third soldier and tried to escape the length of the sword to little avail. The blade sliced into her shoulder. The cut was light, it was no threat and would not hender her. She attempted to behead the last soldier, but her blade was halted by the voice of Everbone. His voice was not loud but it was very appearent. A calm "Hold" was spoken. She quickly knelt herself down and laid her sword on the ground. She began to think quickly on what to say. The soldier did not pay as much attention. His blade continued to seek out Alexia's skull. Suddenly, bones sprang forth from the earth. No...The hand of a skeleton did. Everbone's specialty, controlling the corpse of the dead and moving them like puppets. The skeletal hand caught the blade and held it tightly. The soldier turned around in horror, Alexia stayed knelt. The small girl, despite her pain now knelt also.* Everbone-"This noise...Who is the cause?" Soldier Two-"It's this bitch. She wouldn't obey us! Neither of these bitches wo-" *Everbone lifted up the soldier by the neck with his massive arm* Everbone-"You are loud. I saw very well your conflict." *Everbone dropped the soldier, more skeletal hands held him in place. His gaze turned then to the young girl and Alexia* Everbone-"What caused such noises?" *Alexia chose her words carefully, none. Instead she shifted her eyes from Everbone to the soldier being held down by the skeletal hands and then back to Everbone. The soldier proceeded to yell out with slanderous and vile words of Alexia. His voice, or more directly his throat, was stopped by the plunging massive blade of Everbone.* Everbone-"Speak. The cause. Softly." *Alexia considered gazing upon the arm to give Everbone a hint, however she realized that it was an order to speak...softly. She attempted to do so in a low and soft voice.* Alexia-"they removed the arm of this girl. their laughter was loud, i thought it would displease you. i attempted to end their noise quickly." *Everbone knelt down to speak to Alexia face to face. Perhaps to terrorize her with his features in hope of testing her ability to remain silent.* Everbone-"And was it worth your pain?" *It seemed Everbone was indeed watching the fight carefully. He saw her intentional allowing of an injury to prevent noise.* Alexia-"i have ended an annoyance for the master of my town, nothing could be worth more to me." *Everbone smiled a grim smile. It seemed to reek of a victorious notion on Everbone's part. As if this was a true type of kindness to him. He turned his head to the small girl and then stood fully back up.* Everbone-"You, child, hold the same notion?" *The young girl nodded her head, still trying to stop the blood.* Everbone-"You are indeed a good child. You understand what is needed to live. You may both live for your obediance to my wishes." *Alexia could not help but smile. Her cut did sting, but the bliss of having played a general for a fool all too great of compensation. Both Alexia and the child lowered their heads silently as if to say "Thank you my lord" as Everbone began to walk away. However...Everbone stopped walking for a moment.* Everbone-"You have done a good deed for me, and for that I shall not kill you this time, HeartCard" *Everbone proceeded to walk away. For some reason the sounds he made did not echo through his head, including the shockwaves that came from his steps. Alexia's smile almost turned into a frown. How could he have figured it out? Everbone has never seen her before, how could he know? Alexia stood up and the young girl did the same. As Alexia turned her sword back into a card and then it disappeared into air. The girl scamped quickly to pick up her severed arm. The fingers still twitching. The blood from her shoulder stopped, as had the blood from the arm. She placed the arm like the missing piece of a puzzle where is used to be. Alexia looked at the girl, expecting the arm to reconnect by some magical force. No...hoping it would. Her hopes were in vain, but the girl held it in place. Alexia wanted to comfort the girl somehow...But there were no words that could help. However, it seemed the girl had thoughts of her own. Her eyes still watery and tear-filled from the pain, as she held her no longer attached arm in place with her right hand, she nodged Alexia with her right shoulder. Alexia knelt down to meet the girl at her height abit better.* Girl-"section seven...please..." *Alexia nodded and began to walk with the girl towards the exit of Section Five into Section Six... A walk she wasn't going to enjoy no doubt. Most of section six was convinced of her existance at the moment, and most of those convinced could and would try to identify her. As if she would take more action if she was more well known amongst the people. She was originally headed to section four. But she could not hope to turn this girl down...* OOC: Alright I'm done for now. I really wanna keep writting but I'mma stop. xD |

OOC: Tis time. Wandering endlessly for some form of food, having gone a good five hours without sustenance, and overall being rather spoiled when it comes to such matters, Rail wanders. Upon his wanderment he comes across a small clashing of metal, such a sound excited Rail to a point, although he doesn't enjoy watching another die, he realizes an opportunity to please someone for a reward when he hears it. Rail quickly runs towards the sound fearing he wouldn't have enough time to asses the situation and wanted to plan out how to execute a no-death, maxmium-reward plan if possible. He finally managed to reach the noise only to witness a child attempting to fend off three guards of the Third Section's General. Rail honestly had no idea who the general even was, and was only assuming they were guards under control of this particular ruler. Being relatively ignorant of the entire situation in "The Advent" Rail didn't exactly realize the consequences of his actions in the near future, but had he known, probably would have done the same thing anyway. Rail quickly concentrated on the skin on the ankles of all three guards, it was rather difficult especially without being able to visiually see the ankles, and because he was concentrating on six different locations at one time. A very dangerous stunt, even for someone of his manipulative caliber. He managed to ignite small fires on all of the ankles, causing immense pain to all of the guards and making them squirm on the ground, however before he could get closer to do anything, the child decided to take advantage of the awkward situation. Rail: "Wait! What are you doing!", the child stabbed one of the soldiers through the heart with his sword, and then pulled it out. Rail rushed over to the child as quickly as possibly motioning him to stop. However the child found him to be just as much of a threat and went to slash at him. Rail generally suprised at the agression of the child barely managed to deflect the blade with one of his claws. Rail: "God kid, you're going to kill your saviour" Child: "Better then dying to him!" Rail: "Yeah, logical." Rail broke out of the clinged blades and ignited the childs rags for clothing shocking him and startling him. The child quickly took off the clothing that was on fire and stomped on it to put it out. Out of showmanship Rail whistled at the boy and blazed a fire encompassing his entire hand. Rail: "I would drop the blade, lest you want to be a cinder" Child: "What are you . . .?" Rail put out the flame quickly after he got the desired effect, his hand burned, though not badly, still stiff. Rail: "I am a wanderer in need of some food, so if you could humbly oblige for me saving you . . . that'd be great." Child: "You're a goddamn begger with parol tricks!" Rail: "At least they get fed . . ." The child noticed the two soldiers who had wandered off trying to put out the fire had returned and seemed rather angry, on top of that not far in the distance was a calavry of soldiers accompanied by a figure in full "military dress", most likely being a higher commander of the squadron of soldiers, or even worse a general. Child: "I can't mess around with you anymore, thanks for getting me out of a bind I already knew how to get out of, but now its time for this swordsman to know when to flee." Rail: "Wait what?-" Rail turned his head to the galloping sound, noticing the reinforcements and soldiers who weren't exactly pleased with him. He looked back to see the child running off, the soldiers started to scream. Soldier#1: "Don't let him get away!! That bastard is a murderer!" Soldier#2: "Stop him damn you!!" Rail scratched his head in bewilderment at the entire scene. He noticed the three soldiers who were lying dead and suddenly found himself in a distressed emotional state. The soldiers stopped at Rail and drew a blade for his arrest. Rail: "What are my charges exactly?" Commanding Officer: "Expected aid in a murder case." Rail: "Nonesense! I'm just a begger who can do parlor tricks, want to see a trick? It will cost you though, even a begger needs to eat." Soldier#1: "We're wasting our time, we'll[the two soldiers] escort him back, you guys chase after the kid." Rail: "You're not gonna kill him are you? That would be a sham after me saving him and all." Soldier#2 drew a blade and put it up to Rail's throat, and spoke softly yet threating. Soldier#2: "That terrorist has been attacking the innocent for quite some time now, even if our lord and master Haku doesn't participate in such matters we still hold some respect for this cursed land." Rail: "Haku? Do you think he'll pay me for my parlor tricks?" Commanding Officer: "You're right this is a waste of time, kill him and lets get moving" Rail: "God damn it-" Rail drew his blade and ignited it in flames quickly, he made the fire as intense as he could without harming the integrity of the metal. Rail: "Ta, freaking da. . . Can't even get a reward around here." The commanding officer motioned a small group behind him to run after the child who had gotten a rather large head start on him, the Commanding Officer, two of his squadron, and the other two soldiers all drew blades aganist Rail. Rail: "I'm going to admit, i'm not really skilled with a blade, do you think you could take turns?" Commanding Officer: "You would make a great Jester for lord Haku." Rail: "Oh really?, but I can do tricks too!" Rail quickly ignited the hair on the commanding officers head, making him freak out, much like the soldiers previous. On that not the first soldier went for a stabbing motion at Rail. Rail covered his body with the White Linen, letting the soldier appear as if he peirced through his body, however his blade went inbetween Rail's torso and arm. Rail removed his head with his shortblade. Soldiers#2: "Get him!" The three other soldiers simutaniously went after Rail. Rail had no choice but to exhaust his stamina. He rose a intense blue fire all around him, trapping him in a ring of blue fire strong enough to mealt medal. The soldiers were astounded by this, stopping before they got to close, but before they could react further Rail went through the fire and stabbed two of the soldiers in the head with both of his claws. After he pulled back into the fire that was slowly dying away, he drew his blade and made a slashing motion to remove the head of the final soldier. Rail maintained a lucky streak, the final remaining soldier was still in shock over the simultainous death of his two compatriots. It all happened very fast, the Command Officer just finished putting out the fire on his head and got up off of the ground to see Rail holding his short blade to his throat. Rail: "I'm going to borrow your horse." The commanding officer didn't comply. Rail got on the horse and quickly galloped away. The commanding officer started at him in shock, his head practicly bald and half his squadron and a previous squadron completely destroyed. Rail waved back to him as he fleed into the distance, exhausted, hungry, and under injuries throughout his entire body from extreme heat, with particular harsh ones on his arms, and hand. He didn't get far, he found the nearest house and gave them the horse for a night service that would be expected at an inn, with a couple of bandages to boot. OCC: Well, i'm done for now. |

S.Cloud: Write as you see fit. WhitePhoenix: Good Job but...When I stated "Young Man" I meant more around 14-16. Honestly this is up to you though. Want the guy to be a boy(anywhere from 9-12) or a young man(14-17)? Your call but ye're gonna see him against OMG SPOILER. I do have one small requirement for everyone who hasn't written their chapter 1 segment yet. This chapter is known as "Existance" meaning it covers and confirms that your character Exists. So basically, it will just be your introduct and perhaps alittle more. Introduce your character as has been done previously, then have that character join one of the 25 remaining events. Make sure to end your post in a somewhat cliffhanger method. Such as WhitePhoenix and I's posts. Rail is staying the night in a nearby inn. Alexia is headed towards the exit of Section Five. In both cases the character will not be further written about until the next chapter(Chapter II) begins. Currently the following events are no longer available: The 3rd event of Section Three(Resolved. Involvement not currently possible due to the results of the writer of the event) The 4th event of Section Five(Single-Character only. Already taken. Involvement again not currently possible) And the 4th event of Section Seven(Single-Character only. Dibs called by S.Cloud) |

OOC: Just a little fun fact. What I'm gonna have happen with the rain in some areas of Section 7 is actually something that really happens during the rainy seasons of tropical rain forests. Rain pelted the dense soil in heavy bullet-like drops. Small divots were left in the wet but not quite muddy dirt as the drops pierced the earth. The rain here was intense, so intense that it actually caused some of the plant life to die out due to the destruction the soil sustained. Sitting atop the wall that surrounded this area of Afdefrum, Section 7 was what had been painted across the outside, Pariah scoffed at the unbroken clouds. "Just my luck," he said. "Out of the desert and right into perpetual rain." With a huff Pariah started to rise to his feet. The wall had become so slick, however, that the moment he stood his footing was lost and he found himself falling to the ground just inside Section 7. His collision with he hard soil was incredibly harsh; it had left cracks in the soil itself. Lifting himself off of his left side he noticed that his leg had dislocated at the knee. Great. This day just keeps getting better and better. Taking the sides of his calf in each hand he snapped his limb back into place. After flexing it a few times to make sure it was moving properly Pariah took to his feet yet again and limped onward to a cluster of nearby buildings, probably the outskirts of a town. The rain was dense here as well, so dense that Pariah couldn't see more than sixty feet in front of him even with his night eye. Still, even with the heavy rainfall it was clear that these buildings had fallen into disrepair. Holes in the rooftops, crumbled walls, sometimes even empty and broken foundations. And not a person in sight. It was nice in a way, the lack of people. Pariah had never been much of a people person. After all he was essentially a walking corpse, not exactly the most desirable person to run into. On top of that there was the fact that he was now soaking wet and, even though he couldn't feel cold, it was definitely not a good feeling and brought many disgusting thoughts to mind. Freshly decomposing bodies, weeping sores, flayed skin revealing wet muscle...it was almost enough to make him shudder and he was the very image of all these things! Probably a good idea to hole up for now, at least until I can dry off. At least he wasn't entirely unlucky in this case. Not far off was a building that had a mostly intact roof. It would provide dry enough shelter for him to get the wetness off of his clothes. When he entered the building he got a true sense of how long this place had been abandoned. The wooden furnishings had almost completely rotted away and the walls were stripped of their paint and had begun rotting as well. Paying it no mind, Pariah began gathering some of the old wood to make a fire and tore off a small piece of cloth off the right sleeve of his shirt that was, for the most part, dry. Taking his axe and a chunk of concrete in hand he began to strike them together in hopes of sparking a fire. Strike, spark. Strike, spark. Strike... A gentle tapping on the roof just slightly louder than the rain caught Pariah's attention. Was the roof beginning to weaken? No, that didn't really make sense. If that were the case the wood would have creaked, so what was making that noise? Putting the chunk of concrete aside, Pariah took his axe in hand and headed for the single hole in the roof. Looking up he saw a humanoid figure leaping across the hole to the roof of the next building over, whispy tendrils flowing behind it. A twisted smile crossed Pariah's face. "Well it looks like this place isn't so empty after all." Leaving the building, he watched the strange person leap from roof to roof. Though far off in the distance, the rain had settled enough for him to see from the shape of its body it was clearly a woman. Dancing from roof to roof, whispy tendrils whipping in the wind behind her, Pariah watched as she circled back to the building he stood beneath. "Oh!" She said with a giggle. "My, my, my! A guest?" Burning red eyes glittered in the gray skies, their piercing light the only completely clear feature he could see. "Well, who are you?" She asked. "What's your name? Where are you from?" "I don't have a name," Pariah answered. "Everyone has a name," she said, leaping to the roof behind him. "So what's yours? Or have you forgotten?" "I told you, I don't have a name." "Oh, so sad. Forgotten his name." A cackling laughter escaped her. "What a shame, what a shame, forgotten his name!" "Who are you?" Pariah demanded. "Who asks?" "Don't play games with me," Pariah said. This girl was beginning to frustrate him. "I know," she said, the humor in her voice pushed aside with wicked seriousness. "Hiding behind those robes won't help, I see what you are Dead One." Pariah frowned, his gaze fixated on this strange woman. Who, or what, was she? Whatever she was she could be a real threat to his goals. Or perhaps... "Where did you get that eye?" she asked. Pariah pulled back his hood, the rain now a gentle mist, and the woman finally came into view. A young one of no more than twenty, or at least she appeared that way. Her body was slender and her skin was pale, matched with equally pale platinum-blonde hair that flowed in streams just past her shoulders. White silken bandages were all she wore, barely covering her breasts and womanhood. Her hands rested against her hips, slender fingers holding them in place. "Answer me, Dead One! Where did you get that eye?" "Who wants to know?" Before he realized what was happening Pariah found himself flying through the air, a bandage extending from her arm to his throat as she whipped him through the pillar of a nearby building. The pillar shattered as he collided with it and Pariah covered the back of his neck to protect against the now falling ceiling and stone walls. Throwing the rubble off him with a cry another bandage wrapped around his neck and he was hauled into the air before being slammed into the ground. "Answer me! Where did you get that eye?" Pariah remained silent, looking around for a sign of his axe. Just as he suspected it was too far off for him to retrieve. Damn, must've dropped it when she first... Pariah found himself careening through the air yet again, this time being forced through a series of worn cement walls before being suspended in mid air. "Tell me!" Have to do something or she'll rip my body apart... In an act of desperation Pariah took the bandage in both hands before throwing is weight towards the ground. However, instead of throwing her off balance as he intended she used his own momentum against him and slammed him into the soil again. Perfect. Taking hold of the bandages before she could thrust him upwards again Pariah pulled with every ounce of might he could force from his body, pulling her from the roof and causing the grip of her bandage to loosen. Wasting no time he rushed to the area where his axe fell. Dropping to the ground in a roll he grabbed the handle and swiped up into the trio of bandages that flew just above him, severing them with the axe's keen blade. A scream from the woman echoed across the barren landscape and blood spouted from the bandages, spraying over Pariah as they whipped back to the woman's position on the roof. Making the most of this opportunity Pariah jumped onto a nearby rooftop and began making his way to the woman, slicing through the bandages that rocketed towards him. With a monumental leap he reached her, colliding into her stomach with his shoulder and tackling her to the ground. Before she could rise he held the axe to her neck. "Who are you?" he demanded, the rain beginning to intensify yet again. |

OOC: Therren, I'm annoyed yet amazed at the same time. Annoyed you took an event someone else already called dibs on(noted by both S.Cloud and myself). But Amazed that you portrayed the girl exactly as I was beginning to imagine her...Perhaps even disturbed. Also there's abit of confusion it seems. -Section Seven is the first section to gain any redecorating and improvements of any kind, being the highest number on the countdown. It's housing is for the most part perfect in most fashions. -Another confusion is my fault for not stating. Section Seven's rain is heavy, however for some reason plant life is fine by it. There are common rumours that the plant life in the town is enchanted to endure it's heavy weather. But it's fruit do indeed show what kind of weather they were grown in, becuase it's fruit(while being of moderate taste) are the juiciest of any in the lands. The rain in this city is indeed constantly heavy. Moreso in the middle. However, around the 'Gates'(the exits to the next sections. In 7's case this would be 1 and 6) the rain is lighter. And for perhaps a half a mile in the next sectionsthere is mist-like rain in combination with light drizzling. However you are correct in that the streets would be largely empty if one managed to get into Afdefrum by scaling it's rather large(20feet) walls(perhaps better explaining the breaking of your leg rather than simply it being weak). Mainly due to the first even in the seventh section, a massive parade. The only rewrite I have to make is on her bandages. You wrote they bleed when cut. I rather disagree. Since it's clear this girl is going to be somewhat of a main character, I'll explain her Bandages. They feel like velvet. And despite their often torn appearence, are rather endurable and can only be cut. They are immune to fire, they do not soak in water at all, they will not tear, and nor will they begin to unwind(or unthread, whatever you want to call it). They are enchanted by means not explained just yet. They can and will move at the will of The Girl so long as that particular bandage is touching her body. Pieces cut off from The Dress(It's official name) will become like ordinary old cloth. In the case of the story, quickly soaking from the rain. If The Dress is cut, The Girl will infact feel pain from the act. The pain is purely mental however. There is no blood loss of any kind. Also, the area you described is best placed just beyond the gate of the seven section while being in the First Section. I say just beyond since the buildings are somewhat intact. Sorry S.Cloud, you'll need a new event. At best we can say you noted her skipping roof to roof towards Section One. Back In Character: *The Girl coughed blood onto Pariah's face. Clearly from the tackle and impact. She then looked at Pariah and smiled. Her voice seemed as if she were humming while speaking. As if her speech were a sing along of some child's song. Light, sweet, but it seemed to have a slight echo effect.* "I~don't~have~your~name~yet. I~wanna~know." *The axe's push on her thoat appearently slipped her mind at first. She suddenly noticed it and looked at it without moving her head. Her eyes turned back to Pariah. Her voice lost it's sing-a-long appeal." "Alice. You can call me Alice." *The moonlight showed Alice's face better. A young and somewhat childlike face. The girl did not shake, but her fear was very appearent. Her eyes began to focus more intently on Pariah's lightless eye. Her fingers twitched, and then she swayed her hand upward. The bandages on her body burst outward. Propelling Pariah away while the girl quickly got up, all the while the bandages almost instantly retracted back to her body.* "You'll find this cloth is somewhat special. It's called The Dress. Now that I've introduced my trump card, why don't you introduce that eye of yours?" |

OOC: Sadly so, S.Cloud. Section Seven is for the most part peaceful, especially so due to the current parade/celebration going on within the section. But Rakuo is looking for Haku right? You could have him walk through the massive parade and maybe bump into a random person or two, while trying to get to the gate leading to section one. Actually there are two choices. The gate to section one, which you'd go through to get to two and then finally to three. This is the short, but more dangerous way. The other way is to go all the way from section seven to section three in the count-down fashion. |
