most are based on physical damage so really are reduced.

The physical ones should be reduced by dmg.

The magical ones should be reduced by spell resistance.

All i know is that Sano's ulti is the only one ive found out thaat does armor reduction eg 3100dmg they have 2900hp and they survived >_>

armor doesnt really account for much in af...

you need less than 100 agi for 5 armor. 5 armor gives 23 percent reductions... Thats quite a bit of dmg it can drop (see my calculations for howl lightning vs itachi fireball)

The issue is with the fact that stat-based spells have to be trigger set to deal stat based damage. I'm pretty sure that there's an error with those kinds of spells that negates armor because of their trigger. A similar issue happens with Mugen's Spellblock. It doesn't block triggered spells because they're not programmed by that spell to be blocked.
I can not tell, is it just me or do we all look just like
Adolph fucking Hitler with this swoopy emo-boy dreamy haircut dangling in our faces, making us all indescribably indistinguishable from each other; or maybe I'm just another megalomaniac?

No... they are subject to armor because, this is my assumption as I haven't cracked the map to take a peak, the damage type isn't type spells. Thats one reason why spell blocks don't work (though there is a slew of other reasons for this).

No... Spells are designed with two different stats for hero units and normal units. That is why sleep lasts 10 secs on a hero and full minute on a regular unit ect ect. Divine armor is the only armor that has any kind of effect on spell type damage.


I think you are thinking magic type damage, that is different.
