When I'm in the menu screen to choose who to silence, I can't exit it. At least, not when theres 12 players in the game. I choose back or cancel, but its on the edge of the menu, thus, I cannot use them. When I click them, they don't work. I try everything I know to exit, nothing works. |

This happens to me alot. Either try clicking menu again or try clicking somewhere else. I forgot the other way I got out though because it's been so long since I played. (not counting 1v1 with comp) |

This is a design flaw... maybe I will put in multiple pages so it doesn't happen. |

the way i get around this and for changing someone's team is to madly spam the esc button right after i click it. What this'll do is just bring you back to the starting menu. |

What i do is I wait until someone gets so impatient that they leave and then I can exit the menu. This happens on all of the menus that involve all 12 of the people + cancel + back button. Secondly, silence is a hassle since it gives the player a huge space....and after that, whenever you type, it says Player 1: instead of ur name. |

Why wouold you even silence, that is what squelch and ignore is for... and any person who has any knowledge of the game can just undo the silence.. Its also extremely childish to silence someone because there either beating you or complaining. |

He tried betraying us because the other team was clearly winning. When I told him he couldn't betray, he started spamming. It was * like: "Host is gay Host is gay Host is gay" until chat box was filled up, and he probaly used paste, because it was going at a rate of probaly 80 per minute. Thats different from complaining. Thats being a complete * of yourself. Besides, I forgot all about squelch. |

*sigh* the wonderful bliss of idiots. At any rate, if he kept spamming B.net would have told him to stop eventually. And... fritos, your team was losing?!?!?!?!?!?!? |

Wait, explain to me, does Battle.net really stop players from spamming? I mean, in game actually, or would it include the part when players join and *, like before the game starts. And yes, I lost. We most likely would have won if I had a rats * clue on how to use Vergil. Or play well, for that matter. |

Yeah, but only in the public chatrooms... Once a player joins your game, you basically become responsible for him, and he's free to do pretty much whatever the hell he wants... Those lazy *s... |

Indeed. If you spam a little nothing happens. If you spam too much in a short time period; you are sent the the chat channel [The Void] And that takes away all chat privileges. But you can just join another channel anyways. Although...if you have a clan, you can simply get bots that are better at anti-spamming and they can also ban players from the clan channel by putting the player's name on a list and then having the bot simply kick them as soon as they enter the channel. |

.. I think you have it confused. When you're banned, you're sent to the void. When you overspam, your connection gets disconnected or something. .... There is no anti-spamming bot. What you're thinking of is a *list. Everyone on that list is auto-banned. The bot does have to be designated in order for it to ban though. |
