That's it for me. There's probably an obscure way that she opened it but some reason is obvious.

Was the key ever even removed from the stronghold box? because its not an envelope it was not checked for contraband so she just turned the key that was never removed from the locked position and simply opened the box?

Hmmm, give me a day or two. These are just guesses really.

There were two keys? She had one and so did he?

Also, is the ring of any importance? As in, could the ring be a peice of candy and it wouldn't matter?

The key was removed from his padlock because they simply would have opened the box if he hadnt. And no, she did not have a key for the same lock. Also the ring itself has no significance other then that he wants to give it to her.
I can not tell, is it just me or do we all look just like

Is the ring a part of the padlock or strongbox?

Because then she would receive it even if she couldnt open the box.

The ring is inside the box itself, but if she cant get to the ring she won't know it's in there and won't know he's trying to declare his love. So is that it? Everyone give up on it?

Alright, you all are going to hate just how simple this is.

The woman in Moscow recieves the box, but knows she can't open it with his lock on it. So, she decides to put her own lock on it as well and send it back. He recieves it, removes his lock and sends the box back one last time, with only her lock attached so she can open the box and take the ring.

my turn my turn my turn!

how about this?

There is a lamp inside a photography darkroom. When the darkroom door is closed, it is impossible to tell from outside the room whether or not the lamp is on. There are two switches outside the door of the darkroom. One or both of the switches may control the lamp. It also could be that neither of the switches control the lamp. All you know is that the light bulb is currently off and that the lamp and bulb are in working condition. The darkroom door is closed and once you open the door you cannot touch either of the switches. If you can only open the dark-room door one time, how can you tell which switches, if any, control the lamp?

oh and dont answer it haku since you kown it.

The Lord Of Chaos and The Perfect Chain.

I learned this on Google about 4 days ago... So it doesn't count as cheating as I knew the information before the riddle was posted.

Flick the first switch, wait about 5 minutes, flick it off and flick the second switch. Then go into the dark room and check the bulb.

-If it's off, but warm, then it's the first switch.
-If it's on, then it's the second switch.
-If it's neither on nor warm, then neither of the switches work.
Don't tremble ma pêche, or else you will make me feel like a péché myself...
