So, does anyone remember a little show that was on Toonami a couple years back by the name of Megas XLR? If you dont here's the basic plot:

A giant prototype alien robot is captured by the human race in a last ditch effort to fend of the Glorft, an alien menace bent on conquering Earth. In order to stop the Glorft from getting their hands on the robot, called Megas, an extremely skilled human pilot named Kiva Andrew sends the robot back in time, to the year 2004. When Megas arrives, it is heavily damaged and buried under a pile of junk in a New Jersey junkyard.

On one particular day, an extremely overweight Jersey guy named Coop is digging through a pile of junk in the same particular junkyard, looking for parts to build a custom car with. Well, the pile of junk falls revealing the damaged Megas, and so Coop buys it for the same price everything else in the pile is: 2 bucks. With the help of his best friend Jamie and Goat, the junkyard owner, they build Megas into a crazy robot with a hotrod for a head and a hotrod style paint job. Eventually, Kiva returns to the past to claim Megas, and the Glorft follow, but instead of returning to the future they get stuck in the past, so Coop, Jamie, Kiva and Goat now have to fight all sorts of alien menaces, intergalactic robots, and even an alien the size of a planet that eats radio waves, all while Coop does a daily search for a snack shop.

So that's the basic jist of the show. Alot of funny stuff happens in it, but unfortunately it never got to be very popular. Still, it can be seen at Toonami.com and if anyone here hasn't seen it yet I highly reccomend that you watch it, especially since it does a great spoof job off of shows like Gundam, Power Rangers, Voltron, and even Sailor Moon.
I can not tell, is it just me or do we all look just like
Adolph fucking Hitler with this swoopy emo-boy dreamy haircut dangling in our faces, making us all indescribably indistinguishable from each other; or maybe I'm just another megalomaniac?

I think so. That was the guy that looked like a dragon right? Still, my favorite villans are the R.E.G.I.S. and Gorath, the Glorft commander.

Yeah, the guy that looked like Godzilla. The episode where Coop finds the cartridge that imprisons him, and thinks its a video game...

And man, I LOVE that R.E.G.I.S episode, that episode still cracks me up.

"You cannot stop Regis, the world belongs to him"

"I am Regis, I am the ultimate weapon"

Just the way he says it makes me keel over lauging.
